Classes and Races
Classes
Bards - Bards have their own style of fighting, mainly through song and speech, motivated by their personal quest for new adventures and epic tales.
Barbarians - Barbarians are, as you'd expect, the warrior type, relying on their strength in order to help their team. In the heat of battle, they can fly into a rage, attacking their enemies with their unbridled fury.
Arcanists - Arcanists know secret magic spells that no one else does, having been hand picked by a mentor and taught these spells over time, entrusted with the task of keeping them secret and only using them for good. Arcanists have a familiar, much like a sorcerer in any other RPG. Taken by me :)
Soulcaster - Soulcasters have the ability to manipulate the energy around both themselves and the objects and life forms around them, mostly to their team's advantage.
Shaman - much like a Healer, a shaman heals their allies so that they may continue to fight. Like the Arcanist class, they study under a mentor and are trained in special magic, but of a different nature than those the Arcanists are taught.
Bowman - a bowman uses a bow and arrows to inflict damage on their enemies. Members of the bowman class are usually accompanied by a familiar (think cats, rats, bats and the like. Nothing too insane.) they also have hella stealth abilities as well as proficiency in bladed weapons such as daggers, swords and occasionally small axes (hatchets).
Races
Vampire - a vampire is not born like a human, but rather one bitten by another vampire and turned. They are neither dead, nor are they alive. A vampire can be of any evil alignment, and if its alignment was not evil in life it becomes so in undeath. A vampire retains all the abilities it had in life, plus it gains the ability to drain blood and life energy, and to dominate other creatures with its gaze. A vampire can also command rats, bats, and wolves, or take the form of those creatures. They also become superhumanly strong, can heal quickly or even regenerate, and can turn into a gaseous form.
Werewolf - a werewolf is created in much the same way as a vampire, through a scratch or a bite. A werewolf is a chaotic evil lycanthrope that is very difficult to detect in its human form, for a werewolf can be of nearly any build and of either sex. A werewolf is prone to retain bipedal form in its wolf state.
Dragonborn - The dragonborn race is a true draconic race in Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition, and are descendants of the greater Dragon God, Io. They make excellent sorcerers, warlords, paladins, and fighters. Taken by me.
Human - Humans are pretty easy to explain. There's usually at least one in every campaign ((at least from what I've seen)) and they are the most populous of all Dungeons & Dragons races. They are renowned for their diversity and ambition, and although they lack specializations like other races, they are quite versatile and can excel in many areas.
Tabaxi - Tabaxi are basically cat people, mainly resembling jaguars, panthers and snow leopards. They are a primitive, reclusive people dwelling in jungles who are sometimes led by giant, evil versions of themselves called Tabaxi Lords. They're very curious as well, given the fact they're mainly reclusive.
Elf - Elves are a magical people of otherworldly grace, living in the world but not entirely part of it. They live in places of ethereal beauty, in the midst of ancient forests or in silvery spires glittering with faerie light, where soft music drifts through the air and gentle fragrances waft on the breeze. Elves love nature and magic, art and artistry, music and poetry, and the good things of the world.
