The next day as promised you were going to talk with Tengen and his girlfriends. You were upset at past decisions to give them a second chance but, you knew in your heart that you truly loved them. You also knew in this life if you weren't in love with Akaza then you probably would have gone right back to them. That's not how it works though here and it made you a little sad. Phantom pain in your heart for not loving your past loves in this current life but, it's okay. You can love them platonically because that's true, you do love them all right now but, you are not in love with them. They will understand. They were understanding back then, you know they are understanding even now. They're even better since they have memories from their past lives. 

"Y/N, me and the girls will be there in 10 minutes to get you. We can order takeout and hang out at our house as we agreed."  

"Sure Ten, I'm excited." 

It was the truth. You were excited to talk to them and nervous at the same time. You knew that they knew about reincarnation but, they were unaware that you knew. You swore Kyojuro to secrecy that it was something that you had to do for yourself. You knew it wouldn't go bad even though you were nervous. They will still be there for you and care for you as you want and do for them. Just platonically. You had all your stuff and when you heard the honk of the SUV you went outside and climbed in the back with the other two. Your anxiety was trying to climb but, you kept talking and laughing to get your mind off of it. 

"We ordered Chinese, I hope you don't mind." Tengen was looking at you through the rearview of the mirror while he pulled into his garage. You really loved their home. It was warm, welcoming, and cozy.  

"I like Chinese so no worries." You smiled at him. You put on the house slippers they set out for you heading straight to the bathroom. When you came out Makio was standing a ways away watching Suma and Hinatsuru lay on top of Tengen. You might as well fuck with her a bit. 

"So, you're not tired of them being on your husband." She turned around so fast it was a miracle her neck didn't snap. She looked confused and horrified at the same time. You looked at her calmly "What's the matter spitfire? Can't handle a joke." You smirked watching her go through the ten stages of grief. You walked closer to her leaning into her face "It's a good thing Tengen doesn't have super hearing. He will hear me messing with his headstrong wife, oh I'm sorry girlfriend here." You stepped away from her letting it marinate a bit going to the living room to the others. The Chinese food came 20 minutes later and everyone sat at the table with their food. You watched as Hinatsuru went into the kitchen and came back in with Tuna. So strange but, you decided to take this time to also mess with them. 

"Can I have some? You can say no if you want." Hinatsuru looked between you and the Tuna hesitating a bit making you roll your eyes playfully "What's the matter? It's not like I'm allergic." She made a strange face and it took self-control to keep from laughing. You were going to do this slow ending with Tengen. Hinatsuru handed you the Tuna as you took some to eat and the conversation started again. It seemed there was a shift in the air but, you didn't pay it any mind. Once everyone was finished Suma went into the kitchen while the others went back to the living room. You followed Suma to see what she was up to. She was washing the dishes so you sidled up next to her to help. 

"Oh no, don't worry I got it!" She was trying to take the dish out of your hand but, you weren't having it leaning away from her playfully. 

"Don't get your panties in a knot blueberry this is just like old times." She blinked confused a bit "You can finish helping me or you can go to the front and get Tengen for yourself. We all know how jealous you can be." You winked and turned back around to finish the dishes and cleaning. She just stood there watching you and left right as you were on the last dish. Once in the kitchen Suma and Makio were both just watching you with the other two occupants none the wiser. Unless, they were ignoring it because it seemed Tengen was the same as in the past, just no super sonic hearing. 

"What are we going to do now? Do you want to watch some TV, talk, or play a game? All of the above?" You were sitting in a bean chair on the opposite side looking at the four across from you. You were thinking of everything from the past. How life was with them, past you used to think that they would be better in a new life. They definitely were but, your feelings of being in love with them were not. You loved them but, you weren't in love with them.

"What are you thinking so hard about over there?" Hinatsuru was smiling leaning her head on her fist looking at you with a soft look. She always did have a soft look looking at anyone she cared about. 

"Nothing of importance right now, I'll talk about it later. We can finish watching that show we started last time. It's only 2 episodes left." The conversation went in that direction as Tengen turned on Netflix to finish the 2 season series. The last two episodes were epic and really solidified the entire series and had your mouth dropping at the finale. 

"I KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO GET WITH HIM!" Makio was standing up pointing at the end credits. 

"YEAH, I AM SO GLAD SHE DID! LOVE ALWAYS PREVAILS NO MATTER WHAT!" You were smiling at the way Suma was bouncing all over the place with Makio. They both have the same energy with Hinatsuru smiling excitedly. 

"What did you think about it Y/N?" You turned to Tengen and Hinatsuru who turned towards you with smiles of their own. 

"It was good, I guess love does prevail even if it's not romantic. I like how in one lifetime she loved him as a friend, in another she loved him as a brother, and this time she loved him as her husband. You can love someone for all lifetimes even if that love was not the same as it was in the past. The feeling and care are still there." You were staring at them to gouge their reaction and you got one from Hinatsuru. Tengen just looked at you with a blank face. You turned away from them to see Suma and Makio making a beeline for you. 

"Let's play a game! Do you want to play truth or dare? I think that would be fun!" You accepted it with no hesitation because this will be the perfect opportunity to tell them about your memories from the past. Everyone sat on the floor in a circle as Hinatsuru went first. 

"Makio truth or dare?" Makio smirked 

"Dare." Hinatsuru smiled briefly looking at you. 

"I dare you to give Y/N a lap dance." You looked at Hinatsuru in shock before giggling. 

"I'll do it as long as she doesn't mind." You answered by getting up to sit on the couch. 

"I think it'll be more comfortable on the couch than the floor." She smirked at you crawling on her hands and knees towards you. 

"Aww, you're so sweet for thinking of little old me." You smirked right back at her 

"You're on your knees all the time so might as well give you a little comfort." She was momentarily surprised but recovered quickly. The others were watching intently as Makio put on a show for you. You were impressed. She had a nice body then and she has a nice one now. Once she was done she slinked back down to the floor with you following. 

"It's your turn to go." You knew what you wanted to ask for a truth question but, for a dare, you were going to have to come up with something.

"Suma, truth or dare." She was looking at you with a smile 

"Dare." You had to think up something and quick 

"I dare you to dance with Hinatsuru to a sex song." They were much too pleased to do that and you watched intrigued with Tengen and Makio as they danced sensually. It was nice and even though your heart pounded, it didn't make you horny like it did in the past. You really weren't in love with them no more. Once they were done, it was Suma's turn. 

"Y/N, truth or dare." 

"Truth." She pouted at you before smiling 

"What's a secret you have that you don't mind sharing?" You weren't planning on sharing the reincarnation spiel but, might as well as rip it off like a bandaid. 

"I know we were married when Tengen was the Sound Hashira." All four of them looked at you with varying looks of shock. A word wasn't said so you took the cue to continue talking "We were married, I left you guys, and then I came back eventually to you guys. We had four children and we had Giyu, Sanemi, and Tanjiro with his sister and friends babysit and called them aunt and uncles." You were smiling softly at all of them as you went in the past. "I knew for a week that's why I wanted to talk to you guys about it. I already talked to the Rengoku's yesterday about it and they told me that you guys remembered and knew." It was tense and quiet for a while longer before you got an armful of Suma. 

"Why didn't you say something sooner!?" You hugged her tightly to you smelling her hair. 

"Because I'm not in love with you guys anymore. I love all of you but, I'm no longer in love."

"That doesn't matter! You could have told us sooner and we would understand just like we do now. We knew there was a chance that you wouldn't but, we just wanted you to love us in any way you can." That was Hinatsuru who couldn't maintain eye contact with you. You looked at her and opened up your arms for Hina and Makio to join in on the hug. 

"You're in love with Akaza." You slowly met Tengen's eyes, to see he was smiling softly at you. "I know. It's okay. I know he would make you so much happier than we can. We had our chance. It's his turn this time." For whatever reason, you shed a few tears and Tengen took that as his cue to join the hug. You felt the warmth and love seep from their pores into you. A weight was lifted off your shoulders. Now all you got to do is talk to Akaza and everything will be great.
