Dante's POV

It's been a few days before that crazy event with Y/n. We decided to bring her out to the mall since she just woke up from her coma. We decided to make this a family bonding thing so that we could catch up with her and stuff.

~Mall~

We just entered the mall and then Y/n freezes as she enters the mall.

"Y-Y/n?."

"What. Happened. To. The. Mall?!." she screamed.

I looked around and it was normal. A normal clean place.

"Is it Halloween or something?! This place looks like it was in a massacre." She said.

I think this was a bad idea.

"It's just decorations sisters. Some of us want to have a Halfoween."Hene said.

" What's a Halfoween?. "She asked.

We both chuckle.

"Its like Halloween but not so high on decorations." I explained.

"Oh. Okay?." We then start walking.

Gene then spot Hot Topic.

"Ooooh! I WANNA GO IN THERE!." Y/n  said.

"Alright baby sis let's go." Gene said

She dragged us in to hot topic and told us to hold some clothes for her. After she was done picking some clothes, Gene said he'll pay for it.

"I'll pay for it." Gene said.

"No..." She denied his offer.

"Maybe I can pay it for you sis." I said smiling.

"No I don't think you guys can cover for it...." She said.

"Maybe we can both pay." Gene said.

"That'll be great. Thanks Bros." She hugged us.

She's been getting comfortable around us. It's great to see her like this.
We proceeded to the counter. Everything was summed up. Gene and I paid but it said we lack a few dollars more.

"We're low on dough." I said.

"how much exactly?." she asked.

"It costs 10 dollars more." Gene said.

"Oh don't worry about it. Here." She said as she put the money on the counter.

All her stuff was bagged.

"Thank you for shopping at Hot Topic." the woman on the counter said.

Y/n took a glance at who the woman was and then her eyes widened.

"Michi?!." Y/n said as she dropped her bags.

"Oh? Oh Hi Y/n!! I can't believe I didn't recognize you." The woman said.

"B-But." Y/n stammered.

"Michi! YOU'RE DIFFERENT?!Where are your ears and tail?!."She asked.

" My ears and tail? I don't have one. I'm just a human you know. "Michi said.

"So you're not a meifwa? Just like Kawaii ~Chan?." She asked Michi.

"Nana wasn't a meifwa. It was part of their outfit." Gene spoke up.

"Nana loved nekos and she dressed up as one." Michi said.

"Since Nana joined the Shadow Knights, Zane gave everything that Nana wanted." I said.

Y/n was shocked.

"I- I see.. Nice to meet you again Michi. We better be off. See you soon!." Y/n waved goodbye ad she went out of the store. We followed her.

"Hey sis?."

"Huh?." She looked at us. She zoned out. Again.

Gene's POV

She zoned out. She's been doing that ever since she woke up from her coma.

"Michi's nice.." Y/n smiled a little.

"Michi's been nice since birth Y/n." I said.

"It's great." She hugged both Dante and I.

"And its great to see you guys caring..." She smiled hugging us tighter.

I ruffled her hair as we broke free from our hug. She giggled.

We decided to have fun at the park. Her things are in the car. We've been chasing each other and been playing with each other.

" Guys!! STAPH!. " Y/n said between the laughs.

We were currently tickling her. We decided to stop. Dante went back to the car to get some snacks we bought from the mall with Y/n's money. She insisted that she'd pay so yeah.

"Hey Sis?."

"Yeah?."

"What did you mean by we're not us?."

"Oh just forget about it for now and have fun." she said as she was jumping around.

I grabbed her wrists tightly. I was angry and confused.

"Tell me or I'll rip your face off you mutt!." I realized what I said and let her wrists go.

She was shocked. I saw tears pricked around her eyes.

"I- I'm S-Sorry... I didn't mean to say that.. I- I don't know whats wrong with me.." I said.

She wiped her tears.

"It's okay... I've been through worse." She said.

Which yet again confused me.

"Worse?."

"Oh it's okay." She smiled.

"Got the snacks!." Dante came back with a picnic basket.

"Yay!!." She jumped in joy.

I smiled at her actions. She was the perfect sister. But there was something bothering me. What made me say those things to her? What did she mean by worse?

"Hey Gene. Eat up you brick." Y/n said giving a juice box.

I smiled and took the juice box and grabbed a sandwich.

"Thanks..."
