Y/N's POV

"Ugh..." I groan.

I moved my hands to feel cold, hard, cemented ground. It was dusty but to my notice I felt chains beside me. My eyes widened. I stood up quickly and attempted to run without thinking the consequences. I was dumb. I just fell to the ground with a 'thud'. I heard voices from the other side of the concrete wall and unlocking sounds. I stood up. Where am I?

"You're home..." A voice behind me said.

I turned around and saw Gene. He was smiling and was crying.

"We were looking for you.... You finally came home..." He said hugging me while crying.

" I was really worried but Dante helped calm me down...." Lucinda said giving me a small smile.

"You actually came home." Dante said giving me a bear hug.

"You wouldn't believe me..." I said looking down.

My eyes widened. Oh.

I looked up and smiled.

"We will we promise..." Dante said.

I devilishly smirked. "You're not the Real people I love."

They all looked worried.

"But we are..." Lucinda said.

"We're your friends and family." Gene said.

"Prove it." I scoffed while crossing my arms.

"You accomodately liked the color peach."Dante said unsure.

" Wrong." I said.

" What?. "They asked in confusion.

" First of all, The Gene I know, never hugs or cries. Second of all, Dante is never calm and may I repeat? NEVER calm in these type of situations. Last of all, It's Gene who says those big words not Dante. " I said.

Suddenly my leg got heavier. Yep. The chain was gone for awhile and now it's back. Gene, Dante and Lucinda disappeared and turned into ink.

The place turned dark. It was now pitch black. There was a spotlight right in front of me. There stood four people in long hooded coats. Each coat had a symbol near where the wrists should be. All of them had their according colors. Blue, Green, Red and Grey.

"Who are you?." I asked.

"Some dear old friends of yours." The person with a red symbol said.

"What do you mean old friends of mine?." I asked.

"You see dear. I'm happy. you did what you did without hesitation." The person with a green symbol said.

"What?." I was clueless.

"She's so oblivious." The person with a blue symbol said.

"I thought we needed better--- allies. And she isn't one of them." The person  with a red symbol said.

"Patience, we'll get it out of her------ Eventually." The person with a Grey symbol walked forward to me.

"What are you trying to do? What do you want?."I said with a slight shaky voice.

The person with the Grey symbol held my chin," We want what you want. Your freedom. Your will to be free to fly like bird and destroy those people who definitely hurt you. Might I say, hmmmmm------Gene?. "He said letting go of my chin.

" No. I-I wouldn't hurt him! He's one of the only family I have. I'm not giving up everything to kill him. " I was now stammering.

I breathe in a deep breath and let it out afterwards.

" Sure you do. But you let him do the killing for you." The person said turning his back on me.

Killing? For me? Oh no.. He can't possibly...

He removed his hood and my face was pale.

"You!."

Gene's POV

"She said it! That were her final words before the accident!." I said surprised and shocked.

"We know Gene. We were all there." Zane said kinda annoyed.

"But then again, What happened next?." Nana asked.

I flipped through the pages but they were blank.

"Nothing else..." I said.

Their faces were blank.

"Well that's it?! What do we have to prove?! We don't even know why Y/n has been kidnapped? For what reason?!." Zane snapped questions in the air.

"There must be something that we missed. Some detail..." Dante said.

"I think, we need to use that spell Gene." Lucinda said.

"No! Its highly a dangerous! I wouldn't risk you getting hurt Lucinda." I said.

"But would you rather risk Y/N's life? Who knows where Y/N is. She might be somewhere we're not aware of..." Nana said.

"Nana, that spell is dangerous... You know it..." I said.

"The spell might break you Nana. I don't want to lose you....again.." Zane said.

Nana smiled. "I won't Zane."

"Well, I won't allow it!." I objected, slamming the book on the table.

"Gene, it could be the only possible way to know what's actually happening..." Dante said.

"No! I've seen that strange Magic before! We lost mom because of that spell!." I blurted it all out.

They were silent. Something pricked in my eyes. Liquid. Oh yeah.. Tears. I clenched my hands into fists.

"Gene..." Lucinda said in a comforting voice.

I turned around and ran out of the cave. I heard them calling me but that didn't stop me from running.

I tripped here and there but I made my way to our picnic spot, hoping it was safe... Please be safe...

I sat under a huge tree where Y/n last sat. I move my hands around the bark and felt something. Yes Tears were still falling it wasn't just the right spell... Anyways, I felt letters being formed. I turned around and saw words carved into the tree. My heart felt warm. I smiled and wiped my tears. It said...
