The illusion of Living
(Art made and rightfully belongs to me - S-a.)
Innocent brightful giggles escaped from Bendy's grinning mouth. He will get the chance to spend fun time with a person - and not just any person , but his sweet and kind creator. Miss (L/n) was conscientiously smiling at him - giving a safe and harmless aura to secure the two beings. Meaning, his female creator is less frightening than the male creator - Joey Drew.
"alright, ma'am. Shall we go downstairs?"
Before (Y/n) could even nod in approval, a solid gloved hand took a tight hold of her slim (skin-color) fingers. Bendy held her hand in satisfaction, memorizing her body warmth from yesterday's encounter. Eventually tugging the taller Female with him, the Dancing Demon fastly marched towards the Music Department that is located downstairs next to voice-acting cabins.
"woah, didn't expect you to be so happy to take me here!"
"Oh Golly ! I'm More than just happy... Besides I've got my advantages."
The Cheeky lil' demon proudly adjusted his white bowtie, earning a smooth chuckle from (Y/n). They both approached the wooden piano that was located in the corner of the room. The young women still couldn't shook the fact that she was casually bonding with an Ink character.
"Hey, um, Miss (L/n)?"
"Yes Bendy?"
(Y/n) sat on the piano stool, guessing from the inky Demon's tone - he probably was curious to ask some questions.
"I was wondering... Could you please tell me how you Created me? Or, how you got here and eventually imagined a characteristic like... me?"
Hearing such a deep and complex question, (y/n) was sure she's about to tell a huge story of her whole life. Luckily for them both - that what the lovely female artist was planning to show Bendy today. Adjusting her seat, Miss (L/n) pulled out her personal old sketch-book that was filled with different notes and illustrations.
"Oh, it is such a long story to tell. But Luckily, that's what I was planing to show you today as well - here, take a seat..."
(Y/n) happily held her sketchbook in one hand, as she patted the soft seat on the stool next to her with the other hand - Inviting dear Bendy to occupy the place next to her.
Without any further hesitation, the toon approached her fast and sat. Feeling a slight warmth heating up to Bendy's cheeks, he couldn't un-notice how his knees were touching (y/n)'s thighs. The (hair-color) women held her old sketchbook and placed in ontop of Bendy's lap , so he'll be able to take a closer and comfortable look on it.
"Since I was little, I always loved to draw. I couldn't hold still until I start doodling on papers or even walls. My mother would scold me every once in while, but eventually, my father let me attend different art schools and bought me all the necessary supplies that I needed. That's when I started to practice my skills during my preteen ages. I was trying to draw all sort of things - paysage landscapes, animals, plants, humans and body anatomy ... Anything I could see..."
The young Lady continued with her small rants about the past, inconspicuous about the Toon that scooped closer to her, while enjoying her voice.
"But ... despite all kinds of activities and styles I had tried... my favorite art style were comics or cartoons. They were easier to draw and fun to create - that's when I eventually had an idea of drawing a mischievous yet friendly Demon-like character...
it was you , Bendy."
Bendy froze again. That sensation - the sensation of a mysterious yet moreover a pleasure chill runing down his spine. He flinched upon hearing his name so smoothly and softly run out of (y/n)'s kissable lips. Bendy averted his eyes from the sketchbook that he was observing, until he met with the (eye-color) orbs that were pointing down at him.
"I ... Ah...?"
"Yep, you were my long old dear character. Until eventually, when I finished my studies at university and came to work here - Joey happily accepted my terms of work and style. And then, Mr. Drew successfully turned you into the main mascot of this studio!"
The cheerful (hair-color) artist happily explained everything to the now living mascot. (Y/n) felt all the problems and anxiety fade away from her right as she spoke about the beautiful peaceful days. Considering all things, She told Bendy how they all used to work together in enjoyment and delight - remembering and gossiping about all the small moments, scenarios and adventure the female artist went through during her work were indeed blissful and amusing. All in all, the human and the toon formed several well-laughed minutes during their talks.
"Hehe... heh... dreams do come true."
Luckily for Bendy, (Y/n) didn't hear his small statement. The Toon was a little thing - he knew basic things about those pathetic 3rd dimensional humans, but he didn't know anything about the mortal illusion of living. The creator that build him - Joey Drew, never explained Bendy anything about his surrounding and human society. But on the other hand - the dancing demon didn't care, now he had the creator that invented him - she shall bring the swing of consciousness and the illusion of living a human life.
But for now, the two being together spent the rest of the day playing the piano and illustrating. Later, The young adult women drew a picture of Bendy playing the piano on a piece of paper, while the smiling toon was observing it The Whole time with the biggest smile as they both didn't mind the world around them.
Well, until (Y/n) realized she has to go working soon befor other employees arrive to the workshop.
"Oh, Bendy. I'm afraid I have to go now, before the rest will come."
To Bendy's demise, (Y/n) was correct. Not only because the rest of the animators will be suspicious as to why their co-worker is suddenly goofing around and not working - but also because Joey would be seriously angry if he'll discover that the toon wasn't hidden away at this hour.
Nodding in agreement, the inky Demon frowned in disappointment.
"Alright , Miss (L/n). Here's your sketchbook and papers. Thank you for your time today... I'll see you tomorrow...?"
"(Y/n)"
" ... huh?"
"There's no need for formalities towards me, Bendy. Just call me (y/n)! And I suggest you keep the old sketchbook for yourself. It's full and I haven't touched it in a while, so if you really wanted to look at all those drawing - you can keep it. A small gift from me, anyway."
Bendy's ink-black heart almost melted - that if he had a one. Joey Drew strictly taught the living mascot to call him or (y/n) by Miss or Mr and their surnames - no more and no less. But here was the female creator - just towering bendy with a gentle palm on his white cheek , and telling him on the first day to call her by name. And let's not forget the valuable album-sketches that (y/n) worked on for several good years. The little devil smiled, agreeing on using her name within her presence.
"Alright... (y/n)! Thank you, dearly."
Grinning in satisfaction, (y/n) pulled her palm away from Bendy's cheek, leaving him in a desirable sensation for her touch again. Thus, upon circumstances , the 26 year old lady waved goodbye and turned away - leaving to get back to work as she originally wanted.
Bendy stood still, clenching the sketchbook in his gloved arms , he gazed at the drawing (y/n) drew today.
Swinging his black pointed tail , the dancing demon took hold of it. Holding the sharp pointy end, he quickly drew a new figure in the picture with ink.
