ch.3 / Angelic Reunion

YALL BE WAITING FOR DIZ, EVERYONE GETS A HENRY AND YALL BETTER READ THIS CAREFULLY. ENJOY

Also, it's my birthday. Lazy Art by le me.

A yawn escaped from Henry.

The sleepy man woke up from his slumber.

His facial expression was cadaver-like, not just sagged but lacking it's usual liveliness completely, as if he had left his spirit snuggling under the duvet. His eyelids drooped and there was a slight lolling to his head, drunk with fatigue after yesterday's horror.

Blinking in confusion, Henry looked at his surroundings.

Ah, right. He wasn't home, but in a safehouse with Boris.

"Good morning, Boris."

Henry sat beside the Wolf, as he approached him calmly towards the table. Boris couldn't answer, but his smile says it all. He looked As happy as a baboon in a banana tree.

Old music on the radio played in the back. One may say that this place was partly unused, but Henry begged for differ - some of the furniture and places were clearly cleaned up and take care off, as it used to be someone place as well.

After all, to whom those (fav-books), pillows and plushies belonged to?

"What would you say buddy?" Around Henry and Boris were the crumbling walls that held nothing more than a ghostly silhouette of some previous existence. "We need to head out soon. But Boris, do you know what's going on here? Where's Joey? (Y/n)? Do you know them?"

Boris sadly glanced at the Human in front of him. The innocent Wolf fought the desperation of telling him everything : that Miss (L/n) is safe and sound and sent him here. Boris knew about it all - but Unfortunately, he is mute. Thus, Boris' only response is shrugging.

"Never mind... doesn't matter. Thank you for helping me out. I couldn't make it without you. But we must leave now... have you seen the lever handle around? Or are you holding it hostage until I make you some food?"

Love and tranquility sparkled within Boris' eyes upon hearing the word 'food'. Who doesn't love food?

"I thought so. Let's see what we got." - A stomach full of bacon soup made the two pals filled with determination.

"A brawl is surely brewing, It's ON!"

"YOU WORTHLESS DEMON-"

Bend and Alice were fighting again.

The argument was cold. One moment Bendy is roaring in anger and launches himself to attack Alice. The next, Alice is tackling his head to crush him. And so it goes back and forth. The friendship that (Y/n) developed between these two had gone, it had been distorted into a close mimic of hatred; and just as friendship endures, so would the wall of bitterness that separated them, growing more thorns every day.

Miss (L/n) sat on a chair, crossed legged in the corner. Her once soft and innocent expression now shows displeas and irritation towards the two Inky Toons that fought as if it was a normal daily routine.

"I want my OWN perfect looks, I want my OWN followers, I want my OWN glory! I DESERVE IT, I'm as important as you are!"

"Then why don't you act like it, A̛̰l̛̛̻᷿i̛c̛e̛?" - each word they spoke was filled with hatred and their Ink boiling within. Bendy was spilling threats and mocks, while Alice is blinded with ignorance and threw tantrums.

"UGH-! (Y/N)! You are the creator, you wrote the letter to Henry, you promised that the man would activate the Ink Machine... Say something about this matter!?"

"Are you two playing stupid on purpose? Yes, I wrote the letter and signed it as Joey Drew. Now that Henry is around here, we need to be careful - he mustn't see us until he activates the Ink Machine himself without realizing what he got himself into... Until then, we act accordingly." - (y/n) lied to the both of them.

"And you expect me to sit in silence, until that pathetic human wanders off?"

"When Henry will reach the dead end and activates the Machine - you may do with him whatever you want. He'll be no longer useful to us. Then you'll be fixed, you'll be perfect and everything will get back normal.... Is that so hard to understand?" - (Y/n) stood up from her seat, her stance is straight and her words are cold. Bendy the Dancing Demon confidently stepped closer to her to indicate his agreement with his Muse. It's as if she was his badge of pride.

"And what if your 'Henry' won't even reach the Ink Machine? You're toying with him, (Y/n), even I didn't expect that from you..." Alice muttered under her breath sending daggers towards the Ink Demon and His Muse "it's as if your not yourself..."

(L/n) stayed silent.

"Want to say something else?" - Bendy stepped between Alice and (Y/n), threatening the Female Toon to end her nonsense.

"Tsk, I have something more useful to do than wasting my time with you, Ink Demon... speaking of which, where is your little friend - Boris? Haven't seen him around you both lately."

(Y/n) paled, as her Inky blood went cold. At the current moment Boris was her only hope, and she can't risk having Alice or Bendy interfering.

"And why are you so interested in him all of a sudden? Isn't the Butcher Gang enough for your little experiment?"

"You can't tell me w-"

"Enough. Bendy, let her be... as for you Alice, I recommend you to stay patient. Both of you - that's all I'm asking for."

"Have it your way. But if that errand boy of yours will step a foot on my floor, don't get surprised if he ascended into heaven." rigid with fury, Alice Angel stomped her way out of Bendy's sight.

"Now that's finally over... for now. (Y/n), any plans?"

"It's alright, Bendy. I'm sorry for giving you the cold shoulder... But we have work to do, and Alice is correct. Check on Joey Drew - don't let him roam around so easily. While I'll check on Boris. I'm afraid something might happen with him if he's close to Alice."

"Aye aye, captain!"

Receiving a small peck from the male Toon, (Y/n) sighed as he ran off. Alice was close, and she was suspicious of (Y/n)'s acts. Yes, everyone planned out that the (hair-color) Female would write a letter to Henry under Joey's name. Bendy , Alice, (Y/n) and everyone else agreed on luring the old coworker back to the Animation studio so he will activate the Ink Machine and then use him as a new flesh. They will trick the oblivious man.

And so the plan is. Except not for (Y/n). She had her own plan of saving Henry, and ending the misery for everyone. She will end it all and fix this.

Where ever Henry and Boris are, (L/n) hoped they won't face the deformed Angel.

Meanwhile the poor Henry was walking back and forth. It's been few hours now.

He met the walking monster of ink, and he heard the screeches of Alice Angel.

He's been hiding for what seem forever in that "Miracle Station" from... that Inky creature lurking around. And just when he thought he can move on, he's stuck up here - doing Alice's dirty work of collecting the materials that she needed for her experiments.

"There is one rule we all respect here - Beware of the Ink Demon and his Muse." - A date with an angel, she said. It will be fun, she said.

"Let's go Boris... we had enough of her games. We need to get out of here." The aged man grabbed Boris' noodle arms, as he led him into the old elevator.

"do you wish to ascend so fast, my errands boy? The heavens are waiting... hehe, heh-"

Fear took over Boris, his instinct was telling him to clench onto his male creator, Henry, for protection. The aged man made sure to keep the wolfy toon safe. But Alice's tone was getting more sinister and wicked. Her Laughter filled the auditorium of the Toy Machine.

"Haha.... DID YOU THINK I'LL LET YOU STEAL? Did you really I'll just let you go?!" Feeling weird bumps in the elevator's movements, it started to unexpectedly fall down faster and faster. Boris and Henry were starting to fall downwards. "No, Henry! I know who you are, and I know who brought you here!"

"Oh God, please..." - feeling the weight of Bors hiding himself on Henry's back, The Man expected their end to come right there and then. The elevator was surrounded on four sides of girders and pipes blackened with oil and dirt. Thick steel cables hung down, off of them scratching as the lift carried their loads towards their death.

"You've stole the most perfect Boris I've ever seen - and I want it! Now get down her and give me back my Boris!"

Bracing for a painful impact, Suddenly the lift started to slow down. Bobbling every step downwards, the elevator now lost it's speed upon falling. It slipped down slower and slower, causing Henry and Boris stumble like marionettes in a gift box.

the lift grinded to a halt.

"Wha- How...? Boris, you're alright? We didn't crash." - Henry spoke with surprise, as he looked down at the shaking Wolf. Trying to clam each other, Henry reassured Boris that they're alright - but suddenly Boris' expression changed. He started to wave his arms in horror as if someone was behind Henry.

"What is it Buddy! Huh-!" - Turning sharply around, a ghastly figure of a women half Toon stood with an axe, ready to strike Henry and cut him in half. Alice Angel was now in rage.

"I will END YOU!" - with an axe up in the air, Alice grunted in anger as she attacked the human in front of her. But her swing was blocked.

"Oh, No you won't."

A sudden voice boomed, cold yet unnatural as ghost. Henry's brain couldn't comprehend the owner of it, it hasn't got into him that it was indeed a person he knew and loved.

Alice's body was harshly pushed aside as if someone pushed an old wooden closet at her, unableing the Angel to move any close. Screeches and gasps of shock were heard from the corrupted Angel when she saw who her attacker was. Alice Angel ran away immediately. A (your-hight) figure stood, their stance solid and straight. At first, Henry thought that the darkness of the room must have deceived him, or else his eyes were confused and dazzled.

In Front of Henry was standing none other than (Y/n)(L/n).

"N..no... it can't be..."

(Y/n) spun, her face now visible and clear to him. In her eyes is her humanity, the person she really is. And Yet, there was fear.

They both stood in shock.

"(Y/n)...?"

"Henry..."

The Young Lady hadn't seen Henry for nearly 30 years and she was struck anew by his change of looks. He had been an attractive youth, tall, rather ungainly. His eyes , which still holds love and hope, held a basic wariness. His hair, frosted now with grey, was still thick with an unruliness. It added to his aged looks.

Meanwhile Henry was suspecting of the ghost in front of him.

30 years passed, but alas her looks were absolutely the same since he last saw her. Literally. (Y/n) was painted in the most florescent colors. But now her colors are inhumanly pale. When she smiles, rays of colors from every end of the spectrum go running in all directions. And yet, it's impossible for a human to look physically the same after 30 years.

"How... (Y/n)...?"

"Henry...!"

(Y/n) ran to her old friend, his face tight, every thought focused on masking his fears. Henry's immediate response was to ran as well with open arms, to meet (L/n) in a tight hug. For the female, his arms are shields of love, a hug so warm yet so different than Bendy's usual embraces. (Y/n) could hear his rapid heartbeat - a sound she didn't hear for ages.

At that moment, everything seemed to be at a state of tranquility. There was no one here but the two of them - spirited away by all that is cruel in the world.

"Oh god, (Y/n)... I thought you were gone..."

"I missed you so much."

"But, how, how are you... did they hurt you...?" - Henry gazed at her face, scrunched into a questioning expression. In response, (Y/n) was smiling, like the smile of a child who is determined not to weep. They were both at the edge of tears.

"Who cares, did they hurt you?!"

"I care, I'm worried about you!"

He laid his hand lightly on (y/n)'s shoulder, and instead of flinching like she usually did, she was soothed by it. He left his hand there and spoke with such a soft voice she felt his words calming her more by the way they were said than the actual words. It felt as if she was wrapped in a blanket of his caring.

(Y/n) and Henry stayed in their embrace, forgetting Boris that was smiling from ear to ear.

In the far end of the hallway, a shorter Toon stood in disbelief and silence as he let Inky tears of anger and heartbreak roll down onto the floor.

                                "(Y/n)...?"
