Aside from the P.E incident, the school day had been spent smoothly. Sadly, Gyehoon couldn't be punished because "such things can happen while playing", but Mia didn't care much about it as she knew he didn't deserve her attention. Felix, on the other hand, was still mad someone had purposely hurt his little sister.
"I'm so, so sorry, sis. Are you sure you don't want me to call an Uber or something?" - Felix groaned in frustration.
The student comittee had a meeting today and, being the president, he couldn't skip it that easily.
"You said it yourself, Lix, it's a ten minute walk." - She smiled at his overprotectiveness.
"But it's raining and you're hurt." - He spoke with a lower tone.
"First of all, I can handle a few water drops. Second, I'm fine! My elbow hurts a bit but I'm pretty sure it won't affect my walking." - Mia held a laugh.
"But you have to hold the umbrella-"
"Goodbye!!"
She pressed the red button.
I pity his future partner, oh my God.
Putting the phone on her blazer's pocket, Mia started walking towards the main door. The school was practically empty by now since classes had finished twenty minutes ago.
"I don't care about going home alone, but he could've told me earlier...the rain got stronger..." - Mia talked with herself, standing at the door and watching the sky pouring.
With a sigh, the girl opened her bag to get the umbrella.
Damn.
"You stupid ass! How could you forget an umbrella!? That shit's bright red for a reason!" - She wanted to cry and hit herself at the same time.
Oh. Just call Lix!
Ah. He said he didn't bring one.
The teen sat down on the steps, head on her knees and loud sighs leaving her mouth.
"Do you perhaps need an umbrella?" - A voice spoke from what seemed to be her right side.
Mia's eyes widened when she looked at the owner of the voice.
"You..."
"We finally met in school..." - He scratched his nape.
"I didn't expect to meet you like thi- oh my God. Did you hear me earlier!?" - She raised her tone, thinking about her stupid scene.
"Will you feel better if I say I didn't?" - The boy smiled shyly.
Mia, on the other hand, dropped to the wall with redish cheeks.
"So...do you want to share my umbrella or..?"
"Are we going to the same place though?" - Although Mia would be extremely grateful, she didn't want to be a bother.
"I hope so."
She tilted her head.
"Do you want to go to a Cafe? The one where we met." - Jisung's ears turned a different color as he asked.
Is that a date?
We're still on the awkward texting phase though...
Why?
Wait. Do I have homework?
"It's okay if you don't want to, I'll take you to your house then-"
"No! Let's go, it's been a while since I've gone there." - She smiled, fixing her backpack.
"Wait, really?" - His eyes lit up.
"Hm. It was time we talked in real life." - Mia chuckled.
Jisung opened his umbrella and got closer to the girl so none of them would get wet. The two walked awkwardly with blush on their cheeks, not daring to glance at each other.
