Unique as it was, Eda expected the team to completely flunk practice, only to get major improvement.

She still did give her teammates a hard time, but gave them 'saving grace' or a lecture break when they impressed her.
She often glanced at her girlfriend who was busy sending in homework to her teachers. Somehow, seeing her so.. excited.. to do her best at Hexside made Eda fall deeper in love with the girl. Camilla, who had by now understood that Eda was staring, gave her a quick and little glare to get Eda back on track with practice, the glare worked perfectly causing Eda to quickly resume practice.
Suddenly practice haulted, team members looking at Eda who was smiling in approval. "I'm dismissing you from practice early to regain your strength for the game, go hydrate yourself and get a quick snack. But nothing big, running on a full stomach can get pretty painful."

And the girl did exactly what she told her teammates, she picked up her bottle of apple blood and took a large drink from the clear bottle. Somehow in seeing her lover drink the red liquid, watching the cartilage in her throat bob up and down each time she swallowed under the skin she knew damn well was soft and super smooth.. made Camilla choke on her heart.
Eda looked up at the tan skinned girl and smirked, catching the dribble of liquid with her hand. She climbed the bleachers and sat beside Camilla, leaning over to kiss her affectionately. "Will I see you front row cheering me on Camilla? Or do I have to search the crowd for mi hermosa amor?" The girl asked, tying her orange hair up into a wild ponytail behind herself. "You know I'm going to be the most vocal person in front row Eda. I love seeing you so passionate towards an activity you love."

Eda took the use of words as an advantage, pulling her girlfriend in close. Camilla blushed lightly, not yet understanding her lover's sudden mood. "I am quite passionate towards the things I love." She murmurs, gently and without hidden intentions kissing Camilla's neck, making the girl's skin erupt with shivers.

Camilla let loose a soft and rather enticing medium pitched 'mmh' that graduated to a higher pitch at the tail, making Eda crave for another due to teenage hormones but had enough will to resist.
The look upon her girlfriend's face however.. eyes closed and taking careful attention to what just happened. Eda was staring at the expression with an intensity she didn't know she could behold. With a sort of open mouthed click of her tongue, the sound fades to an inhale of air, teeth pressed closed as a light blush fills her cheeks. The sound of chatter fills the grudgby field, forcing the two girls to look at the grass, several students in casual dress look up at them.
Swiftly Eda excuses herself from Camilla, giving her a quick peck on her lips before weaving her way down the bleachers. She shakes hands with the St. Epiderm team Captain, labeled obviously with a maroon bodied, gold sleeved letterman's jacket.

Camilla felt a smile form on her lips as she watches Eda guide the team to the locker rooms, unlocking the doors with the spare she had been given.
She enters with the female captain to discuss what Coach had told her to recite, practically word for word.
Camilla pulled on a glove and used it's magic to make her items disappear, she made her way to the bottom most row on the bleachers, right behind a fold out chair labelled 'Capt. Eda Clawthorne' on a twice laminated sheet of paper.

She watched the cheerleading teams from both home and out teams walk into the field to warm up, suddenly, Odalia and- oddly Darius wave Camilla over.
She approached nervously and tried kindly refusing their offer to join (very) last minute, Darius smiled and privately reassured her that he wouldn't let anyone drop her on the ground, he would rather not risk Eda killing him. The other team members seemed to suddenly join in on Odalia's persistent begging, Camilla smiled slightly and though reluctant agreed. It took Camilla actually no time at all to learn the steps, the girl was already immensely flexible and fit because of her mamá so in truth she surprised a lot of the team.

It would be a lie if Camilla said she wasn't having fun..

By the time Eda made her way out, Camilla was giggling and laughing, enjoying the support she was receiving.
This made Eda blush, hearing her girlfriend laugh. She accidentally walked right into a short, lightly brown skinned, mint green haired witch. She quickly apologized but was confused by her?? His?? Nervous look, her small, feminine voice asked quietly in an embarrassed tone "I'm sorry Captain Clawthorne, but.. do you have any gender neutral bathrooms? I'm not comfortable changing in the females locker room."
Camilla watched the color drain from her girlfriend's face as she suddenly and loudly apologized to the player, quickly leading them to a door with a 'GN/NB' on the front, unlocking the door she apologizes once more before retreating to her girlfriend.

Eda hugged Camilla when she finally approached her, punching Darius' shoulder for 'somehow peer pressuring Camilla to practice.'
He winked and rolled his eyes to a different direction, Eda's arm snaked around Camilla's petite but muscular waist, the muscle under her hand pulling inwards to pair to her near silent, flustered peep before relaxing.
There was a complete silence when that particular mint haired person approached Eda in their obviously just a little big uniform, they blushed in a nervous manner, rubbing the back of their neck.
They were small, and Camilla next to Eda was already four inches shorter than her- and they were about two inches apart from Camilla so- very tiny(like my tiny 5'2.5 ass ;-; [Ven]).

Both Eda and Camilla were silent until they spoke "Thanks for being so kind Captain- I half expected you to tell me to 'suck it up'. "
Eda took her hand off her girlfriend's waist to wave her hands nervously, saying almost instantly "no, no. Not a problem! We have a lot of students in Hexside who aren't comfortable dressing in front of boys or girls."
They smile, thanking Eda and saying hello to the cheerleading team before joining their team in warmups, suddenly.. both Eda and Camilla reach inside their pockets and pull out three snails, handing them to each other.

Eda's hand made its way back to Camilla's waist, tracing a pattern over the edge of Camilla's burn scar, this suddenly made her self conscious, Camilla knew Darius was going to probably convince her to join in halftime but what she didn't take into account was.. 'what would they think if they saw her scar?'
She let out a nervous whimper that Eda caught onto quickly, excusing the two Eda pulls Camilla into the gender neutral locker room, knowing that it'd be ghost town empty. She sat on a bench and hugged her girlfriend close to her front, Camilla hugged Eda by her neck and buried her face in her partner's hair, her body exhaling a shakey whine.

When Camilla pulled away she was glossy eyed, struck by the sudden anxiety as she realized she might get the same treatment as at home.
"Hey.. hey look at me.." Eda murmured in a tender, loving manner.
Camilla quickly tried to rid her tears by wiping them off her cheeks, Eda gently caressed her scar with a look of reassurance. Once she connected eyes with Eda her girlfriend smiled, her free hand moving her girlfriend's light brown hair away. "You.. are beautiful, Camilla Noceda. I don't ever want you to worry about your appearance."
Eda lifted up the hem on her shirt and stared carefully at the lighter toned scar, how the scars lied.. flesh (darker), fatty tissue (lighter), flesh (darker). The depth of the scars reminded her of lightning on her smooth skin.. almost like she had a curse put on her. She bent her head down and kissed one of the many white scars next to one that was a bit pinker, her eyes closed to show Camilla she loved every single inch of her.

She pulled away and let her golden eyes stare into Camilla's chestnut brown eyes, "don't you let anyone bring you down about your appearance.. you're a strong, independent young woman."
This made Camilla smile, laughing happily through her last cry she hugs Eda, bringing the girl as close as possible.
"I love you Eda.. so much." Camilla whispers, saying the phrase for the first time to Eda, Eda closed her eyes and cherished every letter. "I love you too Camilla.."

The door opened, revealing a flustered looking green haired person. They were riled up after being teased by the cheerleading team for how short they were.
This particular person had quite the adorable name too, Raine, Raine Whispers.
Raine was confused on the spot when they saw the shivering, nervously laughing mass of Captain Clawthorne and a caramel skinned girl. They both looked up into their green eyes and blushed, chuckling in an embarrassed manner. "Come to join the 'get away from society to calm down' club?"
Raine snorted, letting their eyes fall to the ground.
Captain- as Raine knows her, pats the bench beside her, they sit down on the spot. Camilla had during this time been set on Eda's lap by ms. Clawthorne herself, Raine took no mind to it since the girls looked just as frazzled as themself.

"Your cheerleading team is relentless Captain.." Eda frowns and sets her hand right upon Camilla's scar, Raine's eyes had followed her hand and raised and eyebrow.
Eda understood their look, adjusting to face her front to her girlfriend, asking with a frown "are you comfortable with me showing..?" She nods softly, Raine watches Eda lift Camilla's uniforms grey tunic to just below the band of her sports bra, revealing the lightning like white and pink scars.
They study the form of the scar a moment, "my uncle accidentally spilled hot oil on me when I was younger. I'm scared I might get bullied.. again."

Raine frowns and looks down, Eda tucks the tunic down and refastens the waist belt. "Stick with me and I'll make sure you can at least play safely without interruption. My teams listen to me well.."
Eda's face drops to have a short brooding reverie, then she smiles.

Suddenly yelps and squeals emerge from outside, Eda lifts Camilla off herself and rushes to the door. Steaming, boiling rain begins to fall rapidly on the field, cheerleading and grudgby teams hurry inside to get shelter.
Eda returns to the room and sighs, "boiling rain. Looks like we might get cancelled.." Raine frowns deeply, bummed out by that reply. Eda waves Camilla and Raine over, indicating that they should follow. Camilla takes Eda's hand and follows her into an empty lounge room, Eda takes her place on a wide recliner and sets Camilla on the leftover space. Raine sits sideways on a couch, after, kicking off their shoes. Eda and Camilla do the same, Camilla sets herself on her girlfriend, becoming suddenly tired.

Raine and Eda slowly watched Camilla fall asleep, the girl constantly adjusted against her girlfriend but was comfortable.
Eda pressed a gentle kiss on her girlfriend's forehead, the girl smiled in her sleep. Raine chuckled, "she finds herself very comfortable when next to you.." they comment before whistling into the bottle of off brand soda they had, sipping the liquid with a sigh. Eda sighed gently, studying Camilla with a persistent intensity. "I love Camil with my life.." she whispers near silently, Raine smiles to her loving commitment to her girlfriend.

"That's a good thing. Keep it that way.. you can tell she loves you with her life too." Eda then bit her lower lip, letting the blush taint her cheeks.

Raine stood up with a soft snicker, walking out to go check the rain. It was slowing down, yes.. and by the clouds placement soon, but it was soon to start up again aswell.
A few teachers were outside with protective spells above themselves, surrounding the field and bleachers with the same spell.
They set themself on the wall and whimpered, both from the rain making them anxious and by the fluttery feeling Captain and 'Camil' gave their stomach.

'Why do I.. feel this way?' They thought to themself, trying to rid the jittery feelings. 'I shouldn't be crushing on a couple..'
Was their internal reply to their question, the rain slowed down before ceasing. They made their way back to Eda, "the rain stopped but, the grass was kinda killed by the rain. Plant track's will have to repair the field before we begin."
Eda scoffed lightly, and carefully kissed her girlfriend awake 'I want that..' Raine's thoughts said to them, they looked away with a light blush.

Camilla woke up with a soft sigh like chuckle, mumbling 'okay, okay I'm up mi amor..'
She sighs and stands up, taking Eda's jacket in the process. The three teens make their way outside, Camilla yawning and stretching her arms out. Eda snickered quietly and ran her fingertips along her girlfriend's side, trying to seem like she's not teasing her. Raine giggled at their mannerisms, how they were so gentle with each other and gave TLC constantly. The two girls felt blushes rise to their cheeks, Eda knocked on the girls locker room, calling out "rain's settled, teacher's got a barrier set up. It's game time ladies!"
Then repeating the exact same phrase to the boys except for calling them 'guys' instead of 'ladies'.

Teams file out, grateful to see the gold hued protective barrier. The bleachers fill up with students and supportive parents who had been warned about the delay.
Eda summons up a large spell across the field, flipping her hands over so the backs face the yellowish grass, lifting her hands up green sprouts up from the dirt. The field fills with turfed, bright green grass.
Tossing Camilla a couple cans from a box the two girls spray the white paint onto the grass, creating the lines necessary for grudgby. When they meet in the center Camilla giggles shyly, white paint coating her pointer and middle fingers.

Eda conjures up a spell to get rid of the paint, kissing the tops of her girlfriend's fingers before letting her go to the frontmost bleacher.

The game was active, and very competitive. Camilla cheered loudly each time Eda scored a point, holding her breath when she tried secretly chasing the rusty smidge.
The game was won by Hexside on a dangerously close score of 22-21, Eda jumped up in the air and cheered when the buzzer rang. Taking her girlfriend into her welcoming arms to celebrate once more, she congratulated St. Epiderm's team and happily said "good game!" To the captain, Eda high fived Raine and complimented their skills, Camilla hugging herself close to Eda and saying "though I wasn't awake for long, it was awesome meeting you!" To them.

The three went home with beating hearts and blushes on their cheeks, confused by the effect they had on each other.
