Siddharth stood outside the hospital room, his arms resting on the high window railing. He forced himself not to cry, but he was powerless. This was the very least he could have hoped for. He wasn't expecting to arrive in India at first. Second, he didn't anticipate to meet her in such a poor mood on that particular day.

He didn't have a single regret. He, too, desired to start a family with her. He desired that they raise their children together. He desired a tranquil family. As a man in his early thirties, all he wanted was a family to help him survive. But the Universe, which had once been a fairy in their lives, had turned into a witch, casting witchcraft over their lives.

Ryan who saw standing alone, excused himself from Sarakshi and rushed towards Siddharth. He gently placed his hand over Siddharth's shoulder, making him to wipe his tears.

Ryan: Machan... Ava kooda poi pesu da...

Siddharth didn't utter anything.

Ryan was taken aback for a moment. He has never seen this vulnerable side of him. Atleast he hasn't shown it to Ryan.

Ryan held Siddharth's shoulders for support as he was leaning and plopped on the floor.

Sarakshi... That's my name!

Siddharth composed himself, taking deep breaths.

Ryan hugged him tightly, the least he could do.

Siddharth: Aana ne avala pathi thappa nenaikadha da... She's an angel... Ava kooda irukravanga elam romba lucky.. May be I'm not worth it.

Ryan: Please da... Ipdi solladha... I'm there with you.. I know un life le avangaloda place yaralaayum replace panna mudiyadhu... But unaku na iruken da.. oru nalla friend uh...

Siddharth hugged him more and sobbed uncontrollably.

Ryan: Idha ipdiye vita seri varadhu... Ryan!!!! Action le erangida vendiyadhu dhan...

Ryan excused himself to take a phone call, leaving Siddharth alone.

Siddharth stood outside her room's door, peering in through the viewable section of the door. As the medications began to take effect, she appeared drowsy.

Sarakshi made every effort to keep her eyes open. Snow was next to her, resting his head on her arm to protect his mother. As he observed the heart-melting sight, Siddharth's lips raised in a corner.

The iron gates that surrounded his heart had began to melt once more.

No matter how far the waves of the ocean travel, they always return to the beach, where they belong. And at the end of each day, the young birds return in quest of their nest.

Siddharth and Ryan left the hospital after  they made sure the hospital staff has informed Siddharth's parents about her condition. The news of Sarakshi being admitted had leaked somehow.

When Siddharth stepped out of the hospital, he saw some media people waiting outside to know about her health condition. Siddharth quickly covered his face.

But when he turned back, he saw all the people in the press moving inside the hospital. He passed a hurt smile, thinking he wasn't an Actor anymore in the limelight and it was difficult for anyone to understand who he was.

He began walking as such in the crowd of people who all failed to recognise that he was a star for whom they all once waited.

Ryan: Dei machan...

Siddharth: Enna da... Paavama Iruka enna paatha? Emotional dialogue solla poriya??

Ryan: Un aasa.... Anga paaru panju mitaai vikraanga... Ethana varsham aachu saptu... Vaangi kuden...

Siddharth gave him a disgusting look. But deep down he was happy that he had a person who lifts up his mood and not pity him instead.

They both munched cotton candy together and walked on the streets.

Siddharth: Unaku theriyuma da? Na evlo naal ipdi road le nadakanum nu aasa paturpen..

Ryan: Apo ne ivlo naal enga da nadandha? He asked seriously still munching his panju mitaai.

Siddharth gave him a death glare and continued walking.

Soon they reached a rented apartment where Ryan was going to stay.

Siddharth: Okay Machan.. all set le? I'm flying back to Amsterdam.

Ryan: Edheyy???

Siddharth: Pinnae enna da? Ne dhana sonna.. Admission velai mudinjadhum polaam nu...

Ryan: Adhu.. dha..bha.. ile da.. inum mudiyala.. Adhu matum ile.. enaku samaika theriyadhu.

Siddharth: Cook vechuko.

Ryan: Dei please Machan... Ingaye iru.. konjam naal aprm decide panlam.

Ryan: Aprm unna poga Vita dhana? India veraikum kondu vandhuten... Ungala serthu vekkama poiduvena enna?

Siddharth: Hmm.. seri seri.. aana konjam naal dhan soliten..

Ryan grinned and gave him a kiss and ran away.

Yashoda and Yadav came worried to the hospital after knowing that Sarakshi was admitted.

Yashoda: Sakshi... Enaachu da??

Sarakshi: Ma... Nothing to worry... Na nalla dhan iruken..

Yadav: Aprm epdi da??

Sarakshi: Appa, amma.. neenga na solradha porumaiya kelunga.. Na Sid uh paathen.

They both gasped in shock.

Sarakshi: Avaru dhan enna Inga admit pannaaru.. Epdi theriyuma? Enna thookitu vandhu admit pannaaru. She blushed.

Yadav: Enga irukaan en puppy? His eyes glistened.

Sarakshi: Paa... Enaala dhana unga paiyyan ungala vitu ponaan.. Apo naan dhan ungala serthu vepen.. please give me some time.

Yashoda: Seekram kootitu vaa avana... Nalla oru adi adichutu ingaye katti potudren avana.

Sarakshi sensed that this could be their happiest day yet. Her heart was filled with a wide range of feelings. She was overjoyed that she had the opportunity to see him. She was furious with herself for letting him go. She was overcome with sadness as she reflected on him. She felt horrible about confronting his parents. She was disappointed because she still had a long way to go to persuade him.

Sarakshi,  with new power and new muscle, was ready with logs of wood and flame to melt the iron door of his heart, construct a throne there, and secure her position for all time.

Siddharth and Ryan was sound asleep in their room. But they were disturbed by the continuous ringing of their door bell.

Siddharth: Deiii yaaru nu poi paaru da.

He shook Ryan but it didn't even affect an inch. He was still sleeping. Siddharth kicked him , making Ryan fall from the bed. Ryan kissed the floor and continued his sleep.

Siddharth: Ivana lam🤦🏽

Siddharth yawned all the way and opened the door.  His eyes widened when he saw Sarakshi, the little woman dressed as a milk man.

"Idhanga sir... Unga paal packet". She said.

Siddharth rubbed his eyes and saw two packets of milk on the floor and there was no one infront of him.

Siddharth: Enna idhu?? Namaku thonudha ile unmaiyile vandhalaa???

He scratched his head and took the milk packets, closing the door.

Siddharth: Cha.. cha.. avala irukadhu.. avaluku epdi address lam therinjurkum? Na dhan romba kettu poiten.

Siddharth refreshed himself and made a cup of coffee. He terribly missed his mom's and Sarakshi's coffees'. It's those little things and memories that comes up to our minds' when we look back.

He then settled himself on the couch and switched on the Tv and was welcomed by her voice in the music channel.

It was the remix of 'Snehidhane' from Alaipayuthey-2. Siddharth gazed the empty wall beside him thinking of those happy days. He hasn't heard of any review of his movie.

He came to know that the movie was a blockbuster hit but he shut himself from everything that was related to the movie. But his heart wanted to check if she has posted anything for the release of his last movie. But he knew he would end up crying if he saw her wishes.

His thoughts was interrupted by Ryan.

Ryan: Hey Sid... Iniku enna plans??

Siddharth: Enaku enna velai or college iruka? Vettiya dhana iruken...

Ryan knew Siddharth was deeply hurt.

Ryan: Machan nee yen en college le professor uh velai paaka koodathu???

Siddharth: Deiii... Konjam aachu common sense oda pesu..

Ryan: Un get up ku nalla oru Saamiyaar dress dhan suit aagum.. podriya?

Siddharth remained silent as he knew it was waste of time, replying him.

Ryan: Chumma solla koodathu... Nalla hot Saamiyaar dhan.

Siddharth was about to reply him, but was interrupted by the door bell.

Siddharth went to open the door and was again welcomed by the little bird of him.

Sarakshi: Hi, Sid !!!!.... Hiee Ryan anna!!!

She came in giving a heart shock to Siddharth and a heart break to Ryan.
