Five's point of view

the mission was clear, we had to get back to the battlefield the question is how thankfully we had the commander who could fly give us a rendezvous point where we should go. Still I Believe out of all the audience in the universe we somehow end up with the same commander we met up back at the Academy I mean really what are the of that

Echo looks up at the commander in the sky: incredible

I can't disagree: what do you think he sees up there

Echo: probably a lot more than we can see down here just hope the commander knows he is doing his canny giving our position away

there is also true that stalag we have much of a choice have many resources to take advantage of, in fact it wasn't for the commander me and Echo are probably in more trouble if he wasn't. 

The commander finally comes down from the sky and points north: there seems to be a large amount of smoke in that direction I think that's where battles taking place on the problem is that at least 50 clicks (translation 50 miles) with my leg twisted I will be able to run on for a long

I suggest something: Sir you can fly why not carry the two of us and we can get there faster

the commander shakes his head: unfortunately I'm technically not "flying"it's more like floating and before you ask there is a difference floating is just a lower form of gravity allowing me to hover, but if I add more weight it becomes harder for me to float I could probably carry one of you for about maybe 5 miles but then I will eventually fall back onto the ground closer took a big risk by flying to get our location I think maybe we should walk for a little while

Echo: but so even if we do somehow make it to the battlefield how can we help we only have one blaster between us you're already injured and we've now got a 50 mile walk to get to the battlefield and possibly through an army of those bugs.

the commander seem to think about this for a moment before speaking: well what about... What if we hijack a tank?

Me and Echo look at the commander confused: that does sound like a good plan sir but there's nothing around here for miles you really think the bugs are going to come this far away from the battlefield?

The commander: give them a reason to these guys they live underground right? Well won't happen if they started hearing a barrel field right above the they would have to investigate

that is true but how exactly the oh I get it... He's going to use his super strength to make it seem like there's a battle happening in this area they'll send the tank along some swarms of bugs to investigate and we hijack the tank and use it to join the battle rather unorthodox but it just might work

so the commander unleashed a bunch of sonic claps to imitate a battle this went on for about 15 minutes until finally some of the bugs since their new droids to investigate the ones that was supposedly created from schematics from  earth which is the unfortunate part because the bugs did not send a tank but the commander made quick work of the droids reading destroy all of the note he left one around it was deactivated me seem to be messing around with it

me and Echo went to check on the commander to see what he was doing: Sir what exactly are you doing?

The commander: well a friend of mine built these things and I'm thinking she bolted either against a will or through brainwashing but if I know her she would have put in a manual override in here somewhere, It's the first thing they teach us back at ua just in case the robots go rogue and it should be right about... Here!

The clanger turned back on this time it seemed more docile and open to orders: Arnold reporting for duty

the commander raised an eyebrow: okay pretty sure that was supposed to be a joke but whatever, get on everyone we've got ourselves a ride

I'm hesitant to get get support from a droid but we don't have much of a choice and since the commander did reprogram it it is better than walking all the way there as opposed to Swan's trusted tin can. Me and Echo get on board the droid and it slowly makes his way towards the battle is ordered it's going to take awhile but it's definitely faster than walking

while we were moving the commander decided to make some conversation: so where is heavy and cutup and the other members of your squad ones I met back in the Academy

a moment of silence pass through both me and Echo we knew about the commander's chat with heavy and with the help of 99 managed to convince him to not go AWOL heavy practically told us about the moment we arrived at the base how exactly do we tell commander that heavy use no more

Echo decided to start: there was incidents back a moon base, where we were sent the separatists attack cutup didn't make it

I continue on: heavy gave up his life for us for the clones back home.

The commander looked down he seemed saddened by this: oh sorry I didn't know... So I'm guessing you two were the only ones left of Domino scored

Echo nodded: unfortunately Sir

another moment of silence pass through I could see on the commander's face he was upset by this I understand that he is not a Jedi but he should understand that we are clones we are meant for this there is no greater honour for us than to give our lives for a cause

the commander: I know what you're gonna say that there is no greater honour for you then to give your life for the cause but I did have to ask don't you wish that you could choose what you are doing

me and Echo look at the commander confused that was the first time someone actually asked us that: I'm sorry sir I don't understand what you mean

the commander: well I'm just saying... Don't you think it's a bit cruel you guys have literally just been made for one thing combat and you don't seem to have a say in whether or not you can actually get to take part in it or not the Nadja seem a little unfair and cruel

I've never actually thought about either way but we were made for a purpose is not good enough: Sir we were made for combat to defend the Republic that is what we were born and bred for there are no regrets with any of us

the commander rubbed the back and said sheepishly: okay yeah but this war isn't in the last wherever what you and the rest of the clones going to do after it's finished and when there are no more need for troops

me and Echo looked at each other I don't think I've ever actually thought about it and neither is he, Echo answered: I'm not really sure sir we've never really thought about it we were made for combat thinking about that now what would we do in times of peace?

I answer: well done need some troops to maintain the peace once once it's achieved to make sure something like this never happens again we still be soldiers

the commander: okay yeah that does sound like it's a possibility but don't you guys will actually choose what you do after the war is over I mean and there I know this is probably gonna sound strange to you but what you to actually want aside from defeating the separatists 

that is a question that once again I have no answer for, it's so confusing. The commander is giving us easy to answer questions however they are not easy as a matter of fact they are incredibly hard how can I not think about something I want to do how is it so hard for me to come up with something that I decide to do other than combat.is it just the way all clones are made were not supposed to think about anything else other than winning the war

the commander: look I'm not trying to judge the Republic or the people that made the clones it just seems like they don't really care about what happens to you after the war, and they seem to treat you guys more like property than actual people which is wrong in my opinion. And on LMI just be because cloning is forbidden on earth well cloning human beings cloning animals is fine so long as they're not extinct animals we do not wants a real-life version of Jurassic Park

have no idea what Jurassic Park is but perhaps the commander is right what do we truly want to do after the war is over and what can we do the only thing we've know how to do was fight and because of our genetic make-up we age exponentially quickly what could we do with the time that we have left assuming we win the war

the commander: okay look it's abundantly clear that we might be going a bit too far deep into this for now let's focus on winning the battle and winning the war but try taking my advice try thinking about what you want to do and not what someone else is telling you  what you should do.

He's right we should focus on the mission still go I have to wonder it is all right for us to desire something up outside of combat I suppose we will only know once this war is over

narrator's point of view

as the clones and the young hero made their way  to the battlefield on the back of one of the three point robots had been reprogrammed to take them izuku couldn't help but wonder how his girlfriend and the others were doing but he was sure that they were fine after all they had been doing this a lot longer than him

meanwhile with akoska she and her master were getting into an argument partly because they had come across one of the biggest fortresses that was displayed on the briefing map

Anakin yelled back as they were being shot just behind cover: hey don't look at me you were supposed to memorise the charts!

ahsoka yelled back: I did remember when I pointed out the giant wall and then you said don't worry snips we will be anywhere near that!

Away from the roaring battlefields on all irons the trio that was still travelling through the desert was still going even after an hour of going through the blistering hot sun beds there were still relatively energetic and they had the hopes built high for the most part until they came across a swarm of bugs that was leading an army of droids to behind the battlefield possibly hoping to ambush Kenobi and his forces

fives looking through the binoculars witnessing the whole thing: Sir we have to do something if those collectors get to general Kenobi first there may not be anyone to rendezvous with

izuku tried to come up with a plan with what he had: okay so I think I have a plan but it might not work in matter of fact it most definitely won't but it's the only one I got... Are you in?

Both the clones nodded: Sir yes sir!

izuku: okay I have a plan I will admit it's very terrible plan and almost certainly won't work actually probably should stop with a very bad plan anyway the plan is you two and Arnold distracted the robots and the bugs while I sneak into the zero point and try to reprogram it

Echo: that doesn't sound like a terrible idea sir

izuku rubbed the back of his head: actually there is I have no idea how to reprogram the zero point is they didn't show us how the single point robots they showed us how to do in a heartbeat the giant big one may never assume they would need to because they're supposed to be only no controlled me, did you really think a school with literally put their students in danger by making them go up against a giant robot without some precautions but since that one seems to be moving by itself I have to assume there is an override code embedded in it somewhere real prop question will be trying to find it and I think I have an idea where to look

fives: well Rex did say that he has done riskier plans with general skywalker and honestly what do we have to lose? Either we try to reprogram those droids or we do nothing and everyone else dies with us

with that plan and motivation in mind they sprinted into action sort of izukuflew up behind one of the zero pointers and crawled his way in through a small crack in the machine meanwhile Arnold, fives and Echo got the attention of the bugs and the droids mostly by throwing insults and shooting the plaster into the air to get their attention which immediately got the response they were hoping for and slightly dreaded they were now being chased by an army of bugs shooting at them and a bunch of robots that were threatening to destroy them so all in all the plan was going well so far

the young hero crawled his way through all the wires and circuit boards of the giant robot finally making his way to its main hard drive the prison play its brain from izuku began looking for any similarity with the wires from the previous robots however he couldn't find anything so naturally he went into a panic state and tried everything he could to get the robot to be reprogrammed which resulted in getting electrocuted at least three times but finally zero point stopped after he connected to wires together

zero point yelled out: Arnold reporting for duty

izuku thought to himself: okay I get the fact that this was meant to be a joke but really they named every single one of them Arnold?

He snapped out of it and realised that now was not the time the question is teachers a sense of humour: Arnold save people on droid point number three and escape causing no casualties to others

Arnold number two responded: yes sir

Arnold did as he was told and picked up the two clones and the other Arnold allowing them to get away almost scot-free this with a bunch of bugs chasing them which were no match for Arnold but like his was ordered he did not cause any casualties among the bugs

Echo and fives cheered in victory their plan had worked izuku crawled out from Arnold and looked at the battlefield ahead of them: don't worry guys were on our way

and they could not get there soon enough Obi-Wan's position was about to be overrun if it wasn't for the fact that skywalker called in an airstrike to clear out the rest of the bugs and that the rest of the Jedi that landed on the planet were able to join up of course there was still missing one person and his girlfriend was not happy with his disappearance

ahsoka: what you mean still not here!

Anakin responded sarcastically: I think what he means snips is that izuku isn't here

ahsoka didn't even respond she was too busy worried about her boyfriend but then a new worry entered into mind when she saw zero point are coming straight for them the troops going to position but then when they noticed the green flag being waived on its shoulder they realised that izuku and fives along with Echo was riding it along with a three-pointer that was coming along for the journey

Obi-Wan actually impressed: I will admit I am impressed

Anakin: show off

izuku floated down once they reached the rendezvous point: sorry that we are late we can I got caught up in something... The good news is we now have a zero point help us I reprogrammed it so do we needed to do anything

Obi-Wan: actually with our forces depleted destroyed could help destroy the shield

izuku: okay then Arnold's go destroyed the force field generator but caused no casualties

both the Arnold's: yes sir

they then drove off ready to attack their creators and after 10 minutes of blaster fire and some bugs panicking and flying away shield came down so the Arnold had completed their mission and the Republic was able to take out the tanks and cannons stopping their reinforcements from landing

ahsoka happy about the result: well what we thought was going to be the hardest parts turned out to be the easiest... So now what

Anakin: now we destroy the droid factory before they can make any more droids or robots from earth

izuku  looked at the droid factory he knew that they were making machines of war and destruction but he couldn't help but wonder what was his friend doing in their why was she helping the separatists and why was she making it so easy to reprogram the droids unless the.perhaps that was intentional at least that's what the young hero thought little did he know how right he truly was because inside the factory

she was there working hard to make more weapons of destruction however inside ahead she was trying to fight against these urges something was crawling all over her something was making her do all of this and she couldn't stop all she could do was put in small floors to the robots to make them easier to defeat she only hope that perhaps maybe her friend received her message for help and was already on his way
