"Come on little Bro just try it, I know you'll like it." My older sister Mafuyu said as she kept shaking me.

She was pestering me about playing this online VRMMO called New World Online, I have actually planned on buying it but she was too impatient and bought it for me so we can play together, the only problem is... I still have exams so I cant play till then.

"I cant sis, you know I still have exams tomorrow, and you know mom will kill me if my grades fall again... also shouldn't you be preparing for your collage exams?" I asked.

She then scrambled to her room in a hurry as she remembered that her upcoming exam was drawing near, I then smiled and got back to studying, but I then took a glance behind me and looked at the gear and game my sister got me.

"... Maybe I can make my character and then I can go back to studying." I said as I stood up from my desk and set the thing up.

5 mins later

"Ok everything looks all set up, now lets see what all the hype is about." I said as I placed the helmet on my head and logged in.

I was then transported in a white and blue room that had floating leters that said 'Welcom to NWO, please create your character.' It said, I looked at the pannel infront of me.

"Ok lets see... there is an option that allows your character to look as you are in the real world... yeah thats a big fat no... lets see... lets make me a bit taller... a more spiked hair and for an added bonus lets make my hair white... and there we go." I then pressed ok and I was then engulfed in white light as I was transported in another room, however this time I looked like the character I made.

"This is awsome." I said, suddenly a floating text box appeared infront of me.

"Hmmm... oh its for a name... lets see should I use my real name?... I probably shouldn't... ah I know... Ryudo... that sounds good." I said as I clicked 'ok' and a bunch of mirage like weapons appeared in mid air.

"Oh this must be where I choose my class... should I be an assassin... no thats too edgy for me... oh how about a mage... nah I don't really like staffs that much... a great shield and sword... nah looks a bit heavy for me... oh whats this 'Magic Brawler'... lets see... 'Good at both close range combat and fighting at a distance, it also has good speed and reflexes, however it has less defense and low survivability.' Seems like this class is very hard to use... heh I like a challenge... ok then Magic Brawler it is!" I said as I clicked the Icon and my stats were shown.

"Oh this is where I distribute my stats... hmmm I have 20 SP... since I have low defense putting all those into VIT would be a waste so lets just put those points into... ATK, AGI, INT, and DEX... ok thats should do the trick."
I said as I clicked ok.

Location: Town

I was now in a town that looked like it was taken straight out of a fantasy art book, I mean seriously, Tree like buildings with roots covering some part of the ground, if the real world was more like this I would have gotten out more, I then looked at my starting gear, it consists of a brown leather shirt, marton pants and my Gauntlets... were gust leather straps with some metal in them... but what do you expect from starting gear.

I then began to walk around, tying to fing a good place to grind levels, after about 10 mins. of aimlessly wandering I finally got fed up and decided to ask someone, I looked around and saw a girl wearing black armour with red highlights, she had agreat shield on her back so that must mean she is a great shielder, I decided to ask her since I got nowhere on my own.

"Umm... Excuse me." I said, the girl looked behind her and looked my way.

"Yes... can I help you?" She asked.

"Ummm... I dont want to be a bother but can you help me? You see I just stared this game a few mins. ago and I just want to know a good place to grind levels." I said.

"Ohh your new here, welcome to NWO." She said with a smile.

"Thank you, oh how rude of me, my name is Ta- I mean Ryudo, and you are?" I asked.

"I'm Maple, pleasure to meet you, also if your looking for a good place to grind I suggest you start in the forrest area, but if you think you can handle it the mountain side have stronger monsters with even rarer item drops." She said.

"Oh thank you." I said as I bowed.

"No worries, have fun." She said as she began to walk away.

"Thank you!" I said as I ran the other way.

Maple PoV

I just logged back in and the first thing I do was help someone out, it feels great helping a newbie out... granted I just started this game a few days ago but still, I helped someone out.

"I wonder when Risa will be able to play." I said as I began to walk to Iz's shop to ask about new equipment.

Ryudo PoV

I am now at level 6 and climbing, I am currently fighting a rabit like monster in the middle of the forrest area.

"Ok Rabbit-chan come at me!" I said as I got into a boxing stance, the rabbit then charged at me but I only side stepped and used my new skill called 'Air force Knuckle' which sent it flying back into a tree.

A text box soon opened and said that I reached level 7 and I got a new skill called 'beast hunter' which boost my attack by x2 if I am fighting a beast type monster.

"Ok lets see here I have 35 status points... ok lets put those into every stat." I said as I began to distribute my SP.

Inside a cavern

I was beginning to wake up, my eyes fluttered open to reveal that I was in a deep cavern and the hole I fell into wasn't there anymore, I then stood up and dusted myself, however a text box suddenly appeared and I dont like what it said.

"YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME, WHY IS A BOSS LIKE THIS IN A STARTING FLOOR!" I yelled, suddenly the cavern began to shake and the ground began to break open to reveal a skeletal looking dragon with glowing blue eyes.

"S**t!" I said as I used my skill 'wind dasher' to speed out the room since I saw a giant door that hopefully leads out of here.

Now in most games if an enemy sees you running away it will leave you alone and go back to where it came from... BUT THIS THING IS STILL CHASING ME INSIDE THE CAVERN AND I CANT SEEM TO LOOSE IT!

I kept on running until I saw another door, I smiled and thought that this was the way out... but whem I opened the door I was greeted by a demonic looking knight wearing heavy armour.

"F**K!" I said as another text box appeared.

"DANG IT!" I yelled, the knight then began to stand up and ready its blade, however before I can ready myself I heard rumbling behind me, I then gave the knight a smug smile and jumped high in the air and into a small hollow part of its lair, as soon as I got up there the Dragon litch burst into the room with a loud road, the two boss monsters looked at each other and... began to fight.

A few minutes later

I was still in my spot on the top of the cavern amd I was watching the 2 boss monster battle it out, the dragon was relentless and kept on spewing this blue flame that looked liked souls but the knight just stood there tanking all the hits and then using its sword to blow away tge flames... but I was concentrated on their HP bar.

"20 hp... 7hp... 1hp... NOW!" I yelled as I jumped down and got both their attention.

"THANKS FOR DOING ALL THE WORK, NOW REST IN PEACE [AIR FORCE KNUCKLE]!" I yelled as I thrusted both my fist into the bosses and hit them in the face reducing both their HP to zero.

The two monster then began to disappear in purple pixels, as soon as they vanished 2 chests appeared out of no where along with alot of text box.

I then took my helmet off and the first thing I saw was my sister smiling smugly at me.

"...What?" I asked.

"Soooo... how was NWO?" She asked.

"To be honest... its alot of fun." I said with as smile.

"Thats great to hear, so what level are you now?" She asked.

"Level 35." I said.

"LEVEL 35 HOW LONG WERE YOU PLAYING!" She asked.

"Lets see... ummm... about an hour or so." I said.

"AN HOUR AND YOUR ALREADY LEVEL 35, I'M AT LEVEL 38 AND IT TOOK ME LIKE A MONTH AND A HALF TO GET THERE, WHAT DID YOU DO?!" She asked while shaking me.

"I just defeated a boss... or maybe 2 at the same time." I said.

"You fought... 2 bosses at the same time... Are you insane?!" She said calming down.

"That wasn't really my intention I fell into a trap hole in the forrest and fell straight into a boss lair, It was named Dragon Litch if I remember correctly, I then panicked and ran out a door but turns out that door led to another boss called The Possessed Knight Emperor, and also the Dragon was chasing me so I just let the 2 fight and when their HP was at 1% and then I swooped in for the kill." I said with a smile.

"Unbelievable, just like you to be so lucky... fine after our exams lets meet up in-game so that I can see your character, well night lil' bro." She said as she waved and walked out my room.

"Night sis." I said as I got back to studying.

"Today was a great day." Insaid with a smile.
