Imscared 1 - Crash
After a tiring day of school, Pit opened the door to his bedroom. He threw his backpack on the corner of the closet and took his shoes off, pulling his socks with ease. With an exhausted sigh, he rushed through the hangers and pulled out some random grey pajamas. He turned around and closed the closet door.
Pit stripped his casual clothes off and set them aside on a chair. He took the pajamas and quickly dressed up with those. He walked towards the drawer and opened a cabinet, taking out a laptop from it. As he turned around, he lifted the screen and turned it on.
It was a slow Friday for Pit with loads of homework due next week. He desired to finish them all as soon as possible so that the weekend doesn’t get extremely busy for him. One of his homeworks is to write a simple essay of five paragraphs with four to five sentences about a certain health topic of his choice. Health is an easy A, so it won’t take long according to Pit.
Pit sat down on the bed and wrapped his lower body with the bedsheet, making some kind of support for the laptop. As he put the password in, Pit reached out to the side and grabbed a large bag of chips his father got him early that day. He pulled on the sides of the bag until it popped open with a loud pop along with rustles. Once the laptop finished it’s log, Pit opened the Word Document program and Internet Explorer to start with his assignment.

It was 10 a.m. at the time he only managed to write up to 3 paragraphs. The topic he chose sounded easy but when it came to look for information about it, it was convoluted. And he didn’t want to change it because of how far he has gone, as well as if he does it’ll be lots of hours thrown out the window. He hit the enter button to write another and last body paragraph and took a chip out of the bag.
Before he could even bite the chip, he sighed angrily and slightly shifted his position. He clicked the save file option for the document and opened a new tab on the browser. He cracked his knuckles, making his fingers release the stiffness and felt relief after popping them. He got bored and tired of typing, so he decided to download some new music.
After a while, he found a random website to download MP3s. He doesn’t have a certain MP3 website when he literally finds them everywhere he goes, so he just clicks on everything. When the link loaded, the page showed it’s name and a search bar. Very normal according to Pit.
But Pit could feel that the longer he stared at it, the weirder he felt. He shook it off and typed on the search bar a song he heard from the radio. Suddenly, after hitting enter, a bunch of tabs quickly opened making the website go insane and uncontrollable. Pit rolled his eyes since it was a usual thing for websites to do.
Pit closed all the tabs he could but he noticed that the tabs kept opening again. He tapped his nails against the laptop and touched the screen, closing the same tabs on quicker pace. After he thought he was done, all the tabs opened again, and they opened quicker than before. In anger and pain thanks to a headache, he forced the browser to stop operating and stared at the screen as the program closed.
A few seconds later, he decided to call it an evening and touched the laptop’s menu to log off. But the screen wasn’t quite catching his touch.
Pit freaked out a bit in the inside but kept his cool. He touched again and yet, no response. After attempting a few more times to no avail, he gave up and stopped trying, about to close his laptop. Before he could do that, the screen turned an eye sorely blue screen.
And at that point, Pit gasped in pure terror. He clicked and typed randomly in hopes to get it all out of the way but it did nothing. After a few hopeless attempts, he sighed and set the laptop to his side, crossing his arms. He laid back and closed his eyes, feeling the tiredness take over his body.
Before Pit drove to slumber, a buzzing sound erupted from the laptop, causing him to jump up on the spot. He looked to the side and the screen had turned pitch black. He blinked a few times, utterly confused as to what was happening. He surely knows that this isn’t what happens when a blue screen pops up on screen.
Pit hit a few buttons with a teardrop of hope that it would go away but in response, a pop up appeared on the black screen. It contained a message on it, and Pit was now terrified…
“Forgive me.”
Suddenly, the screen rapidly flicked into different shades of primary colors. Pit was caught off guard by this, making him flinch and close his eyes, letting out a painful scream. He had forgotten to turn on the room’s light so it was dark and it made everything worse. Even if he covered his eyes with his arms, he could feel his eyes melt after looking at the screen for 1 solid second.
Pit groaned in pure pain as his mind slowly shut off, making him wobble to the side and faint.
