Percussion week started last week (which was so fun because we have a new instructor and she's radical) and this week is regular marching band practice, and I'm already lOVING IT. I'm meeting a lot of new freshman and they're actually not scared of me?? which is surprising?? but great!? even though we're only doing the basics pretty much this week I still love it.

And to anyone who doesn't know if they should join band: FUCKING DO IT. It's one of the best things you'll ever do I promise. Learning music is a lot of work, yes, but it pays off and you meet so many new people.
