DAY 15

Writing Tip #15: Remember to hydrate while writing. It can be easy to get caught up in writing for hours and not take care of our bodies, but our minds can get weaker due to a weak body. Every thirty minutes to an hour, look up from your screen and stare at a single spot in your work area. Stare at it for a good thirty seconds. This helps your eyes from screen fatigue if you're taking just thirty seconds every once in a while to stare at something away from the screen. Get up and stretch every once in a while. Stretch your fingers especially!

Daily Vocab Word: Trajectory - (noun) The path something follows as it moves. I.e., "The ball's trajectory changed with the wind."

Writing Challenge Improvement Area: Characters

Writing Challenge #15: Timelines

For this character challenge, take a character you're working on, a pre-existing character you've made, or even a brand new character. Now, outline every major event that changed their life, and highlight what changes those events have made to them.

The changes can be personality-wise (i.e., a tragic event turns a bubbly character stoic), physical, etc. Whatever you deem necessary. The outline can be as long or as short as you want, though there needs to be at least two major events in order for this challenge to count as completed.

Mark here when the challenge is completed --->

Happy writing!
