Writing Tip #10: Remember every idea you have could be made into a story as long as it is executed well. The most ridiculous, outlandish ideas can be a good story if you write it well enough. You really think George Lucas thought Star Wars, a story about space wizards who speak weirdly, was a normal idea? 

Daily Vocab Word: Callow - (adjective) Inexperienced or immature. I.e., "The callow intern was eager to learn."

Writing Challenge #10: What If...?

For this challenge, choose at least three of the below "What If" scenarios and write a plot summary for them. AKA: If you were to make a story (short or long) out of the ideas below, summarize what direction you would take it.

The plot summaries can be as short or as long as you want, but please do at least three!

1) What if gravity stopped working?

2) What if your dad and mom suddenly switched bodies?

3) What if all the chickens disappeared?

4) What if a horse (the animal) was elected president of your country?

5) What if all electronics suddenly stopped working?

6) What if grass was replaced by Lego blocks?

7) What if a supervolcano erupted?

8) What if the protagonist could hear one year into the future, but one day, the noise suddenly stops?

9) What if all the bodies of water were replaced by alcohol?

10) What if Greek gods and goddesses suddenly started appearing in your house?

11) What if the entire Milky Way galaxy was colonized... all except for one planet?

12) What if you found a portal that led to another world?

13) What if vampires were real and co-existed with humans?

14) What if a virus suddenly swept through the world and killed people when they slept? (inspired by The Edge of Sleep, the podcast & TV show)

15) What if the sun froze, and humanity had twenty-four hours to either die or find a solution?

16) What if food stopped growing?

17) What if you discovered you had superpowers only to realize everyone has them, they're just hiding them out of fear of the government experimenting on them?

18) What if your flight landed in another world?

19) What if you got teleported into your favorite movie or book?

20) What if you suddenly turned into a cat?

As an added challenge, you could add more "What If" scenarios in the comments for other writers to make plot summaries of! If you make a plot summary out of something someone else commented, that will count toward the required three!
