The loud sirens went off at a government building. Lights flashing red inside, and outside search lights trying to find a mysterious creature that just had escaped.

"Don't let that thing get out!" One of the agents yelled, "make sure the others are secure!"

But one of his crew mates screamed and then pulled into the darkness a by unknown source.

"One of them is here!"

The rest of his crew mates held their guns up ready to kill the creature. They were shaking under their armor. Growls and loud sounds of crunching bones came from the darkness.

The soldiers shivered, soon there was silence. For the agent, he was afraid now, for the first time like the rest of his crew. Just then glowing white eyes appeared and long shadowy tentacle like arms stretched out them and pulled them into the darkness. The crew screamed as the agent ran to try to escape. The only light source was the flashing loud siren light in the hallway. The shadow creature would come fast every time the light flashed off. He just didn't dare look back. He finally came to the exist door, but it was locked. He looked around breathing heavily and shaking.

Don't show off fear, it feeds off of that. He told himself, it can find me faster that way.

He tried to stay calm and held his pistol. He had it out when the creature would show up. He was unaware something curled around his ankle. He then felt something tighten his ankle and looked down. It the shadow's arm. He then looked up to his left seeing the monster, but before he got a look of him, the monster pulled him into darkness devouring as he screamed.
