Tails...

The quarter landed on tails...

"Liz..." There was disappointment in his voice. "So it looks like I'm choosing Liz now." He didn't sound or look happy.

"No, Peter, listen to yourself. I'm not basing your future love life on a coin. It's not about what the coin says. It's about what you say in response to the coin. You clearly aren't happy with Liz as the choice so be with Lucinda. Next time Peter, always follow your heart, and Lucinda is an amazing girl. She's definitely the right choice," May said and Peter hugged her.

"Thank you May. I'm gonna ask her to be my girlfriend, officially."

"Thataboy! Get her before she is gone!" May smiled brightly and Peter got up to get ready for his date.

Steve was with Destiny on their mission and he was worried about Lucinda.

"What if Peter hurts her and we aren't there to comfort her?"

Destiny giggled over the comms, "Steve, relax. Tony will comfort her and she'll be perfectly fine."

"But how do you know she'll be fine? I'm worried, Dez," Steve sighed and kept moving forward.

"If I was there with you I'd kiss you and comfort you right now you need focus on the mission, not on our baby girl. You know what Fury said," Destiny said to him.

"Our marriage and family can't get in the way of missions. I know," Steve huffed and grumbled. "I just love Luci too much to let her get hurt."

"I know, Steve. Trust me," Destiny said with a giggle.

"I love you so much, Destiny," Steve smiled befor he put the thumb drive into the port to download data for SHIELD.

"I would hope so. I mean you married me so you must love me," Destiny giggled as she ran down a long hall. "Love you too, Steve."

Luci was hanging out with Ned who looked uncomfortable.

"Are you okay, Ned? You seem off lately," Luci looked at her friend.

Ned just couldn't hold his mouth shut, "Peter is Spiderman!"

Lucinda laughed and nodded, "yeah, I know. I'm Stark's niece, remember. Peter doesn't know that I know though."

"Okay but he is only going on dates with you to get his suit back!" Ned slapped a hand over his mouth and Lucinda froze.

She let out a tiny laugh, "y-you're kidding... r-right?" Tears pricked her eyes.

"I wasn't supposed to tell you... he thinks that if he makes you happy, he'll get his suit back," Ned felt awful but he knew that she needed to know.

Lucinda trembled a little bit and let out a shaky breath, "I-I thought he liked me back finally... I should've known it was too good to be true... it's not fair... th-thank you Ned... I need to go..."

She ran off to go to the tower, wishing her parents were home. She needed them so much but she went straight to Tony when she got home.

Tony was holding Kaylanna close to him as he swayed with her.

"Lunch was delicious, love," Tony kissed her forehead.

She giggled and kissed him softly. He kissed her back and was about to pick her up when Lucinda ran in, sobbing her heart out. He pulled away from the kiss and looked at his niece.

"Luci?" Tony quickly hugged her and she trembled.

"Where's Peter's suit?" Luci asked through her tears.

"What? Why?" Tony frowned as he looked at her and ran a hand through her hair.

"I'm giving it back to him... He was only going on dates with me to get his suit back... I don't know why I thought he really liked me back," Luci walked away from him and went to the lab to look for Peter's suit. She cried when she saw it and then put it in the case, all ready to go back to Peter.

Peter was ready to ask Luci to officially be his girlfriend. He accepted that he likes her and he wanted to be with her. He was gonna tell her about him being Spiderman.

He waited at the Waterlily and smiled. He thought for sure that Lucinda would say yes to him, oh how wrong he was.

When he saw Luci, he looked at how beautiful she looked, just as always.

'She's gonna be mine... I can't believe this! I was so stupid for not seeing it. She really is everything I could ever want...'

He wished he said yes to going out with her every time she asked. He looked back and felt like such an idiot.

Peter saw Luci carrying a familiar case.

"Hey, Luci," He smiled at Luci but she wasn't smiling back and that concerned him. That's when he saw the tear stains on her cheeks. "Luci?"

"I came to give you your suit back, Peter. Just like you wanted," Luci handed him the case and was about to walk away.

"What? What do you mean Luci?" Peter was so confused.

"You used me so you could get your suit back. I can't believe I actually thought you liked me back," Luci said with her back to him.

"But I-"

"Go be with Liz... we both know that's who you really want," Tears trickled down her cheeks as she walked out of the restaurant.

"Luci! Wait!" He ran out after her but he could see her in the sea of people.

He looked at the case and wanted to cry.

"I want you though, Luci..." He whispered.
