After a couple weeks of testing the waters with Luci, Peter was getting restless. He wanted his suit back and he didn't want to be with Lucinda anymore, not allowing himself to being open to the thought of actually giving Luci a chance.

Ned felt awful for Lucinda, knowing that she was truly happy about going out with Peter, even though they weren't officially boyfriend and girlfriend yet.

He knew about Peter's plan and each time he saw Luci smiling brightly, he couldn't help but want to throw up.

Peter sat at the movies with Lucinda and was bored. He didn't really want to watch the movie with her, he wanted to watch it with his friends.

'How long is this going to go on for? I don't want to be with her anymore! I want to be taking Liz to the movies! Not Luci!' Peter groaned inwardly.

Lucinda, however, felt like the luckiest girl in the world. She truly thought Peter liked her back.

Peter reluctantly put an arm around Luci and she snuggled into him. He felt a warmth in his chest but pushed it down.

'Why did I do this? I'm gonna lose her forever when this is over...' He breathe and held Luci close to him. 'She'll hate me and never want to still be my friend... but what if I just tell her that testing us together isn't going well? No... she'll be heartbroken and she'll blame herself... I don't want to hurt her...'

Peter, deep down, truly wanted Luci but he was afraid of losing her so he ignored his feelings. He couldn't lose her. He knew it wouldn't hurt as much if he lost Liz though which scared him. He was afraid of his feelings for Luci so when they started to rise up to the surface again, he thought they were fake, not wanting to be with Luci as a lover because then he could lose her forever. If she was only his bestfriend, then he wouldn't have to worry so much about messing everything up. But he knew that his heart needed her as more than a friend. That's why he found it so much easier to go on these dates with Luci. Inside, this may not be what his brain wanted but it is what his heart wanted, what his heart needed.

Lucinda was at home that night, getting ready for bed when she heard gunshots. She immediately flew out and flew through a wall of snow. She came out of the wall in her suit and flew to where she heard gunshots.

She saw the police in a stand off with a girl who seemed to be glowing.

She landed between the girl and the police.

Frost called out, "stand down!"

Spiderman swung in and landed next to Frost.

The girl looked grinned, "no. You will do what I want you to do."

Frost walked forward. The girl giggled as she looked at the female hero. She closed her eyes with a smirk

Frost was startled as Spidey ran up to her and pulled her close.

"Spidey? What are yo- mpf!" Frost felt lips on hers and she saw that her partner was kissing her.

She closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around his neck before all the sudden, she gripped Spidey's mask and ripped it off.

Peter hid his face and Frost put a wall around them so no one else would see.

"Here's your mask," Frost gave it back to him, pretending that she still didn't know who he was.

"I'm so sorry. I swear that wasn't me. I had no control over my body," Spidey said quickly.

"Same here," Frostbite nodded to her partner.

She brought the wall down once his mask was back on and the girl was giggling.

"That was so cute!" She clapped and cheered.

Frost growled before asking, "how did you do that?!"

"Because I can. I am the editor. I control this story," the girl giggled some more. "I'll see you two around. You're the main characters in my story after all!" She grinned before disappeared in a flash of blue light.

Frost couldn't believe she just kissed Spiderman but she honestly really enjoyed it because she knew it was Peter and it felt like a dream.

"I'll tell Stark about it right now," Frost said and Spidey grabbed her hand as she was about to go.

"I'm coming with you," Spidey said and she laughed.

"In that old suit? Stark might not even recognize you," she teased and Spidey rolled his eyes, not that she could see his eyeroll.

"Haha, Frost, very funny. I need to talk to Stark anyways so I'm going too," he said and she hummed.

"Alright, come on," Frost flew to Stark towers, giving Spidey a ride.

Tony was snuggling with Kaylanna and talking with her.

"I'm just afraid Peter is gonna hurt her again. I love Lucinda. She's my niece. Seeing her so depressed, it made me hate Peter," Tony sighed as he looked at his fiancé.

"I know, babe, but you need to understand that she's gonna get hurt and you need to let her learn because you can't always be rushing to her aid every time she gets hurt. You can comfort her and give her advice but you don't need to take something away because Luci is unhappy," Kaylanna said softly and Tony hummed.

"You're right," Tony smiled and she smiled.

"I'm always right. Even if I'm wrong," Kay giggled and Tony nodded.

"I love you," Tony said and Kay smiled.

"I love you too, Tony," Kaylanna looked into his eyes. Tony kissed her softly and lovingly.

She kissed him back before Frost and Spiderman came in.

"Mr. Stark, we have a problem," Spidey said and Tony huffed, not happy that his snuggles were interrupted.

"What is it?" Tony asked the two.

"This girl had the police in a stand off and she seemed harmless but she isn't. She just closed her eyes and Spidey kissed me then I ripped his mask off. I had no control over my body! It was weird," Frost looked at Spidey.

"While I wouldn't mind kissing Frost, I wouldn't do it without her consent and I'm dating someone! Plus she isn't that great of a kisser," Spidey grinned under his mask.

"Oh! I was the bad kisser? You weren't great either!"

"Well it was only my second kiss! My first one didn't count!"

Frost blushed. "Aww, I was you first official kiss? Who was your first actual?"

"I kissed my best friend and my soon to be girlfriend when we were like five. Doesn't count," Spidey was blushing, not that anyone could see.

Luci remember that and it made her giggle, "that's adorable."

When they were younger, they spent nearly ever second of their time together.

On that particular day, Luci was at Peter's house while Destiny spent time with Peter's mom, Mary.

Peter had seen his mom and dad kiss. He heard that they were best friends and had an idea. He went up to Luci and kissed her.

She blushed brightly, "Petey!"

"You are my best friend!" Peter hugged her and she hugged him back.

Luci smiled as they hugged, "and you are my best friend!"

Peter remembered that and honestly he didn't regret it for some reason, no matter how much he wanted to regret it.

"Anyways, this girl, you think she made you kiss by closing her eyes? You know that sounds ridiculous," Tony raised an eyebrow.

"It's true!" Frostbite exclaimed.

"I didn't say it wasn't true. I just said that it sounds ridiculous," Tony clarified and Frost sighed.

"Coming from the man who fell out of an alien wormhole," She grumbled.

"I can send you to your room missy. I'm in charge of you while your parents are on their mission," Tony said to her.

"Oo scary," She stuck her tongue out and Tony grinned.

"You are just like your mother," Tony chuckled. "We'll look into it."

"Thank you, now I'm gonna go. Night Spidey," Frost left, leaving Spidey with Tony and Kaylanna.

He gulped and got ready to have a talk.
