Peter was on the way to the tower and he smiled as he looked at the ring.

"When are you gonna give it to her?" May asked Peter as she glanced over before looking back at the road.

"When the time is perfect. Lucinda deserves nothing less than perfection," Peter said softly and smiled as he thought about their future.

He thought about asking her to marry him when they graduate from college, having a family of one or two kids, growing old with her.

"I'm gonna give it too her and tell her that I love her. I want to do it today but it has to be at the absolute perfect time."

"You sound like your father when he was planning to propose to your mother," May laughed a little.

They got to the tower. Peter, May, and Happy walked into the party room and everyone smiled.

"Happy Birthday!"

Peter smiled brightly and Luci ran up to him. He picked up and kissed her before setting her down.

"Surprise!" Luci giggled.

"I didn't think it was possible for you to look anymore gorgeous than you already do," Peter looked her up and down, in completely awe. She looked like a goddess. Aphrodite who?

"Thank you. You look very handsome as well," Luci pecked his lips and smiled.

"Hey! What did I say about making out in around me?!" MJ teased, causing Peter to smirk.

"To do this," Peter remarked before he dipped Luci a little and kissed her.

Luci giggled as she kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck.

He pulled her back up and pulled back a bit.

"Was that necessary?" MJ raised an eyebrow to which Luci nodded.

"It was more than necessary," Luci smiled at Peter and kissed his cheek.

Steve let out a breath as he looked at Peter. Dez put a hand on chest gently.

"They're fine Steve," Dez said softly and Steve sighed.

"I know..."

"Let's get this party started!" Ned cheered and Luci giggled.

"I have a second surprise but that isn't till a lot later."

"Okay babe," Peter loved seeing her blush every time he called her babe.

He kissed her gently with a smile, cupping her cheek.

She leaned into his gentle touch as she kissed him back.

"Come on, let's go have fun and dance," Luci smiled at him and kissed his cheek before walking with him to everyone else.

Peter chuckled and went with her, holding her hand in his own.

"Luci!" Orion ran over, his cheeks a bright white. "I'm gonna do it."

"What?" Peter raised an eyebrow.

Luci giggled, "someone has a crush on Michelle."

"MJ? Really?" Peter looked at Orion.

"Y-yeah... I'm gonna ask her out but I don't know how... I'm gonna freeze up and stutter and-"

"Just be yourself. Maybe say something cute that has to do with books," Luci suggested and he nodded before walking over to MJ.

"I gotta see this," Peter grinned and chuckled as he walked over a bit more with Luci.

Orion approached MJ and cleared his throat.

"MJ, I um... m-my like is a storybook, can I start a new chapter with you?"

Luci held back a laugh but MJ just started to laugh.

"That was the stupidest yet cutest pickup line I've ever heard," MJ said to him.

"So... is that a yes?"

"Yes it is," MJ smiled at him which in turn made Orion smile.

"Thank you! This is the best birthday gift ever!"

Luci giggled and watched ad they went to go dance.

"They are too cute. Hunter, when are you gonna find a girlfriend?" Luci called over to her cousin.

"Just gotta find the right girl," Hunter grinned.

"Luci!"

Lucinda looked over to see Hailey running over.

"Hey! You made it!"

"Yeah, I just rewrote somethings to make time to come here," Hailey smiled at Luci.

Peter held Luci closer, still not sure if he could trust Hailey.

"Hey, Peter," Hailey waved a little, getting the vibe that he didn't trust her. "Look, I know you don't trust me because of that whole police standoff thing but you two needed help okay? You were using her and I just wanted to make you two better. Plus it was adorable seeing you two kiss," Hailey giggled.

"Wait, you know who we are?"

"I know a lot more about both of you than you would like me too," Hailey grinned as she put a hand on her hip.

"I'm the reason that coin landed the way it did. I'm the reason Luci didn't wake up right away. I'm the reason you never got those notes from Luci. I've been testing you and you passed every test I've thrown at you."

"I-I..."

"Coin?" Luci looked at Peter.

"When we were dating but not dating, I was torn between you and Liz so Aunt May made me flip a coin. If it landed on heads, I would stay with you. If it landed on tails I would leave you for Liz."

Lucinda frowned and her heart ached. Was their love based on the flip of a coin? Did he actually want her over Liz or was it because of the coin?

"S-so you're with me because the coin landed on heads?"

"No, the coin landed on tails," May's voice said from behind them. They turned to see Aunt May. "He wasn't happy with the result because his heart didn't want Liz. It wanted you," May said softly to Luci.

"It still does... that coin landing on tails made me accept that I didn't want Liz. I want you," Peter turned to look into her eyes. He cupped her cheek gently and kissed her softly.

Luci melted into him as she kissed back.

When they pulled away, Peter looked straight into her eyes.

"Luci, I l-"

"Lunch and cake are served!" Tony called and Lucinda smiled but looked back at Peter.

"You were saying?"

"I was gonna say I'm hungry," Peter chuckled, the moment being over. He wanted so badly to tell her that he loves her but the moment had to be nothing less than perfect.
