Luci pulled away from the kiss and gasped recognizing the voice.

"Orion! You're home! We haven't heard from you in so long!" Lucinda ran at him and practically tacked him with a hug.

"What exactly did I just walk in on?" Orion chuckled as he hugged his sister but he raised an eyebrow.

"You walked in on me about to kiss my boyfriend," Lucinda giggled and Orion glared at Peter, not recognizing him at first.

"Really now?"

Orion let go of his sister and walked up to Peter.

"Who the hell are you and who said you were allowed to date my sister?" Orion glowered.

"Orion, i-it's me, Peter. Peter Parker," Peter gulped and Orion seemed to realize it.

"Wait, Peter?! You look so different! Now that I think of it, your curls look the same," Orion chuckled and hugged Peter.

"They are the cutest curls ever," Lucinda giggled as she made her way over to them.

"Hold on, last I heard you talking about Peter you said you were never really together because he used you. How are you together now then?"

"Because I did use her at first but I realized that I really did want to be with her. I was gonna ask her to officially be my girlfriend but she left me right before I could... I-I... I was an idiot..."

"That's in the past. We try not to bring it up. I gave him a second chance and he has proved himself to me thoroughly and I'm very happy with my choice," Luci leaned her head on Peter's arm as his arm went around her waist, keeping her close to him.

"Alright then. What have you two been up to tonight?" Orion asked as he looked around.

"We just had some friends over and we built a lego Voltron," Luci smiled brightly.

"And Lucinda baked treats for us. Try them," Peter motioned to the plate of cookies that was almost completely gone.

Orion picked up a cookie and took a bite. His tastebuds exploded with heavenly deliciousness.

"Oh my stars! This is the best cookie I've ever had!"

"Right!" Peter grinned and he kissed Luci's temple.

"Out of curiosity, how long have you two been together?"

"Well, it would be almost eight months but three of those months I was in a coma so we don't count that so we've been together almost five months," Luci said and Peter nodded.

"I heard about your accident. I wanted to come see you but I was only able to see you when no one else was around because I still didn't have control over my powers."

"Speaking of which, have you got them under control?" Luci asked hopefully.

"Yep! I'm here to stay. By the way, Uncle Malachi, Aunt Ashlynn, Hunter, and Leona are coming here. I got a head start," Orion smiled and Lucinda squealed.

"I haven't seen them in forever!"

There was a knock on the door and Lucinda quickly opened it.

"Uncle Malachi!" She jumped up and hugged him.

"Hey, Lu! You've gotten so much bigger since we last saw each other in person.

"Lucinda! Hey!"

Peter looked to see who it was. He saw a white haired boy that looked to be his age, maybe a year older.

He picked Luci up and hugged her. If Peter didn't know they were family, he would've been so jealous. He was a little jealous, but only because he wanted to be the one holding Lucinda.

"You're tall, Hunter!"

"And you're still a short potato," Hunter grinned and she giggled.

"Where's Leona?"

The little girl stepped out and Lucinda picked her up.

"Oh, I missed you, Leona!"

Leona giggled and hugged her older cousin tightly. "You're very pretty, LuLu."

"Aww, thank you Leona. You very pretty too."

"It is nice to see you again, Luci," Ashlynn said from beside her husband.

"You two, Aunty Ash."

"So who's your friend?" Hunter looked at Peter.

"This is Peter. Peter Parker," Luci smiled at him as he waved a little.

"Oh, the boy you and Orion grew up with. Orion was talking about how you two were bestfriend, practically inseparable," Ashlynn smiled.

"Yep but he's my boyfriend now," Luci giggled and walked over to Peter, still holding Leona.

"Wait, you mean to tell me Steve actually let his little ice crystal date a boy?" Malachi teased but raised an eyebrow.

"He isn't to fond of the idea but he is coming around still," Luci said and Malachi hummed.

"Oh and we're your new neighbors!" Hunter grinned.

"Really! That other penthouse has been empty for as long as I can remember," Luci said as she held Peter's hand, letting their fingers lace together.

"Yep! The Flonds (Flow•nd) are in Queens now!"

"That's great!"

The door opened again, Steve and Destiny coming in.

"Hey guys," Dez said, having seen them at the tower.

"Hey, Dezzie," Malachi grinned at his twin sister. "We were just stopping by to say hello to our favorite niece."

"I'm your only niece," Luci snorted while she kept Leona on her hip as she held her.

"Still our favorite," Malachi smiled and Leona yawned.

"Alright. It's late and someone needs to go to bed," Ashlynn said and Lucinda gave Leona over to Ashlynn.

"See you tomorrow, guys," Luci waved before the door shut.

"I trust that nothing happened between you while we were out," Steve looked at Peter who nodded.

"Nothing happened, sir. We did have Ned and MJ over though."

"That's fine. Now come on, let's go to bed," Dez yawned and Steve hummed as he nodded.

"You staying the night, Peter?" Luci asked curiously as she looked at her brown eyed boyfriend.

"Do you want me to?"

"It would be nice but you don't have to stay."

"Alright, but I have patrol so I'll be back after my patrol. See you later, babe," Peter smiled as he pressed a quick kiss to her lips.

Lucinda blushed but giggled as she kissed him back before he left.

"You are a dork," Steve chuckled at his daughter getting flustered from being called 'babe' by Peter.

"Shut up," Luci quickly went to her room and took a shower.

When she got out of the shower, she put on a sports bra and sports shorts. It was comfy to sleep in, especially with the hot summer air.

She washed her face and hummed softly. She put some cat food out for Snowy and crawled in bed, waiting for her boyfriend to come back to her.
