Dez sat up and looked around. "What time is it?!"

It woke Steve up and he groaned.

"It's only three o'clock," Peter said and Dez groaned.

"Steve we have to get ready to go," Dez got up and Steve did as well.

"Mission?"

"Meeting," Steve said to his daughter. "See you later, darling. Love you. Oh, and no making out and Queens, you best be able to keep it in your pants. I'm trusting you." Steve gave Peter a slight dangerous but very protective look.

"Understood, sir," Peter nodded at Steve with a bit of wet fear in his eyes. He was still afraid that at any second, Steve would tell him that he wasn't allowed to be with Luci anymore.

"Love you mom. Love you dad," Luci smiled and waved.

"We love you too darling," Dez kissed her cheek and left with Steve.

Luci looked at Peter with a smile, snuggling closer into his chest.

"I think you'll be able to keep it in your pants," Luci teased Peter which in turn made him blush brightly.

"I-I haven't ever thought a-about th-that," Peter stuttered as he looked at the floor, making Lucinda laugh.

"You're too adorable," Luci giggled as she put a hand on his cheek before she kissed him.

Peter smiled as he kissed her back, keeping her close to him.

Luci pulled back after a bit and and hummed softly before murmuring, "best boyfriend ever."

"Best girlfriend ever," Peter nuzzled Luci gently and smiled. "I don't think I could ever truly want someone else."

"You're too sweet," Lucinda smiled as she sighed in content.

Peter relaxed happily as he held Luci close to him.

"Are you ever gonna tell me the recipe to your apple crisp? Or your cheesecake? Or all your other desserts?" Peter asked curiously to which Lucinda giggled.

"I'm only allowed to tell my daughter. It's a tradition on my mom's side," Luci smiled at him.

"What if we have a boy? Or both?"

Luci looked at him with a raised eyebrow before replying, "we? Who said it would be ours?"

Peter blushed when she asked that. "Um, well, I would hope so... I would love to have a family with you one day when we are old enough."

"That would be nice. But we're too young to be thinking about starting a family. Wait until we are old enough to think about that, okay?"

"Y-yeah. You're right," Peter rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled. "Sorry."

"Don't be," Luci giggled adorably as she pecked his cheek.

"Do you wanna call Ned and MJ over to hang out?"

"Sure!" Luci got her phone and texted MJ while Peter texted Ned.

Lucinda smiled at Peter who was smiling back.

"Is he coming?"

"Yep. MJ?"

"Yeah, she'll be here in a few minutes," Luci pecked Peter on the lips to which he grinned.

MJ used the elevator and put in the code on the door of the penthouse.

When she entered, she went into the living room to be met with the sight of Luci and Peter snuggled together as they kissed.

"Hope you two enjoyed your alone time. No making out around me," Michelle smirked at them when they pulled away, both of them blushing.

"As a matter of fact, we enjoyed our alone time very much," Peter said as he kept an arm around Luci after they sat up.

"Good," MJ said before the door opened again to reveal Ned.

"I'm here, guys!" Ned grinned as he pulled out a big box of legos making Lucinda gasp and squeal in excitement.

"Lego Voltron! This is so exciting!" Lucinda got on the ground immediately when Ned put the box down on the coffee table.

"You guys are such nerds," MJ rolled her eyes.

"Coming from a straight A student who always has her head in a book," Luci smirked at her.

"I never said I wasn't a nerd too," MJ grimaced and knelt down next to Luci on the ground.

They had so much fun building the Voltron figurine with the legos even though it took them a really long time. Luci had even left the three of them towards the beginning to make some cookies, brownies, and rice crispy treats.

Luci had gone back to helping until the oven beeped. They still had rice crispy treats left over since those were quick to make but when she cave out with a plate of cookies and a plate of brownies, everyone was excited to eat them.

They smell of delicious treats wafted through the penthouse.

"How do you cook so good? Not even my mom's cookies or brownies are this good," MJ asked after she finished a brownie.

"It's really baking but I love cooking too. Anyways, I've been doing it for years and my mom gave me her special recipes," Luci giggled and Ned nodded.

"Mrs. Rogers' food is the best!"

"I would agree but Luci's food it better," Peter said to which Ned scoffed.

"You have to say that. She's your girlfriend," Ned said and Peter smiled.

"That may be true but it's the truth. I've liked her food more for a really long time."

"Aww, Peter, that's so sweet," Luci smiled at him.

"Not as sweet as you, babe," Peter said, making Luci blush brightly. They hadn't started using pet names yet so it made her a little flustered but Peter just smiled.

"You two are to cute. It's gonna make me vomit," MJ gagged and Ned smirked.

"You're gonna be the same way when you meet the guy you love," Ned said to MJ who grimaced.

"Love is only gonna distract me from my studies and my books," MJ retorted.

"You'll be singing a different tune one day, MJ. Trust me. You'll find someone you love," Luci smiled at her friend brightly.

"Like you and Peter?"

Luci blushed before clearing her throat. "S-sure. Like us."

Luci glanced at Peter who was blushing as well.

"Lu, can I talk to you?" Ned said before looked at the kitchen. "In private?"

Luci nodded and stood up, going to the kitchen with Ned.

"What is it?"

"Have you guys not said 'I love you' yet?"

The blonde girl's cheeks flushed. "N-no... w-we don't love each other... w-we j-just really like each other..."

"Luci, really? You aren't in love? Can I ask you a question?"

"Sh-shoot?"

"Would you do anything for Peter? To be with Peter?"

Lucinda nodded quickly. "Of course I would."

"How often is he on your mind? How much does he mean to you?"

"Always. I can never stop thinking about him. And, he is everything to me. I need him..."

"Did you ever want to give up on trying to be with Peter before? When you two were just friends?"

"Not until after her stood me up but I still wanted more than anything to be with him... why are you asking me this?"

Ned ignored her question. "Do you want to be with him forever?"

"Of course I do."

"Now with all of that in mind, are you in love with Peter or do you just like each other?"

"I-I... we aren't there yet, Ned...  I want to take it slow. I want to wait until the perfect time. Okay?" Luci rubbed her arm, knowing that she had been in love with Peter since she was old enough to know what it was to truly feel love for someone.

She knew that it was love because of all the reasons Ned had mentioned. She would do anything for Peter for him to be happy and healthy. She never wanted to lose him. He was always in her thoughts and she never wanted to get him out. She always felt a pain her heart and felt like she was going to be sick when she saw Peter looking at Liz or heard him talking about her. She never wanted to say that she loved him though because she was afraid. She told herself that if she only liked him, it wouldn't hurt as much if she was rejected. She loved everything about him, even his quirky traits and his flaws. She always had and she knew that she always would.

"I... I guess I never thought about that but... I understand..." Ned hummed and it made Luci smile.

"Thanks, Ned. You're an amazing friend," Luci said happily as she hugged him and pecked his cheek.

"Now, we have a lego Voltron to finish," Luci backed up as she grinned. "And treats to eat!"

They both went back to the living room and Peter looked at them with a bright smile.

"You're back! Come on! Let's finish this!" Peter bubbled and Luci giggled as she knelt beside him and they kept building.

When they finished, it was quite late. Ned and MJ left, leaving the couple alone.

"We did an awesome job and the sweets were absolutely delicious," Peter smiled as they stood in the living room.

"Thanks, Peter," Luci smiled and Peter wrapped his arms around her waist.
