SOPHIE'S POV

I plopped down on my bed-or rather, Biana's bed with a sigh. 

WHY WHY WHY did I have to do that?

Does Tam know that I likes him?

" Sophie!" A voice called through the door. " We are playing truth or dare, again," I could imagine eyes rolling. The voice stepped inside the room to reveal Dex. 

" Hey, something wrong?" He walked over to the bed. I patted the spot next to me.

" Yeah, I'm miserable. You know when you like someone but you don't want them to know and you think you've made a wrong move?"

Dex's eyes widened. " As a matter of a fact, yes! Why, is it Fitz who's breaking your heart?"

I shook my head. 

Dex's eyes widened even more. " Uh-oh. Tam?"

I nodded and tear slipped out.  " Dex, please, you can't tell ANYONE!" I pleaded my best friend.

He nodded. " Sure, no problem." He paused for a second. " Sophie, can we try something?"

I nodded, not meeting his gaze, my finger playing with the bedsheet.

I didn't know what was happening until Dex grasped my face very gently, and brought it up towards his. I was still in a daze, and it wasn't until our lips were a fraction of a centimeter apart that I sorta " woke up." 

Our lips met and Dex's lips sorta sucked on mine. I had never done a kiss like this before. And I had to admit, it felt good. 

But not as good as my kiss with Tam. 

" Dex, wait," My nervous voice broke through. 

He turned around. " Yeah?"

" What was that kiss for?" I blurted out. " L-like, did it mean anything?"

Dex ran a hand through his flat hair. " Remember when we had that failure kiss a while back?"

I nodded, and he continued. 

" Well, I thought, why don't I make up for it? And it was just the right time, right now. We're never alone, Soph." 

I smiled. " Thanks, Dex. Now why don't we go and join the others?"

He smiled and grabbed my hand and we held each others the whole way to Fitz's room, where we met a nasty surprise.

TAM'S POV-5 MIN BEFORE EVERYONE COMES TO PLAY TRUTH OR DARE

" Tam, can we talk for a minute?" Biana nudged my shoulder as she walked into Fitz room.

I glanced at my watch. " Sure, we have about...five mintues before everyone comes to play truth or dare."

She smiled. " See, there's something I've been meaning to tell you...."

My heart thumped wildly. Oh no. " Yeah, Biana?" I hoped my voice was steadier than it sounded.

Tick tock tick tock. The time moved slowly. 

And then, suddenly, Biana was grabbing my chin and moving her lips towards mine. I knew I should've backed off, but I couldn't. 

Our lips met. Biana's lips were soft, but nowhere near soft as Sophie's. 

My brain was screaming Help! the whole time.

And out of the corner of my eyes, I saw her.

Sophie. 

She was early.
