TAM'S POV

I can't believe what Sophie did to me.

She said we needed to take a break.

Right after, I had lept home and sobbed into me bedsheets, not letting even Linh come in.

" Tam, let me in! You have to come out sometime!" There she as again. Great.

" Go away!" My shout evolved into a sob. 

I heard her sigh and the sound of her footsteps echoing down the hall got quieter. 

Why did this have to happen?

LINH'S POV

" Sophie, we need to talk!" I banged on her door.

She finally opened it, her eyes all red and puffy. 

" You know, Tam's been bawling his eyes out too," I said crossly. 

Sophie didn't say a word, she just dabbed at her eyes with her sleeve and pulled me inside her room. 

" I'm sorry Linh!" She finally spilled. " Tam and I just.....need some space to breathe. I never thought it would be this tough." She dabbed at her eyes again.

I rolled my eyes. " C'mon, Soph, every relationship is bound to have troubles! Just get over it! Please! You and Tam need each other. You two are made for each other. Get changed. We're going to my place, now."

Sophie didn't object. " Okay," She whispered, her voice thick. " Take me there."

SOPHIE'S POV

" Tam? It's Sophie. Can I come in?" I knocked softly on his door.

A few seconds later, his head popped out. " Sophie? Come in," He opened the door wider and gestured for me to come in. 

A minute later, we were settled on his bed, and I reached for his hands, tangleing my fingers with his. 

" Oh, Tam, I'm more sorry than you can imagine!" I cried. He smiled, to my surprise. 

" I guess you are forgiven," He grinned.  

And then I leaned over and pressed my lips to his. 

" Mmmm," He talked against my lips. 

We released and pressed our foreheads together. 

" Let's never be mad at each other ever again," Tam tried to speak sternly.

" I can try," I whispered. I was making no promises. At least, yet. Because today, well today was the day I knew what had to be done.

" Today,"I whispered into his ear. " Today, Tam, today."
