The Book

+Mystery Shack: Living Room+

Dipper and Mabel sat at the table in the living room staring at the leather black book with its yellow triangle symbol on the middle.

"Are you gonna open it or am I going to do it?" Mabel asked her brother because they have done nothing but stare at it for a couple of minutes already.

"I'll open it, it's just that- I don't know, the book is giving me a weird feeling." Dipper said to his sister as he pulled the book closer to him.

Ford and Stan came into the room for their usual show time of The Duchess on Tv. They saw the kids looking a bit hesitant.

"Hey kids, whatcha two doing?" Stan asked them going over to them with his brother.

"It's just this book Dipper found in the library, it's giving us a weird feeling." Mabel told her two Great Uncles looking at them.

Ford looked at Dipper, "Then let's see this book that you two seem weird about."

Dipper pushed the book back in the middle of the table for everyone to see. He could already see his Great Uncles' eyes widen when they saw it.

"What do you think it is Great Uncle Ford?" Mabel asked him.

Ford picked up the book inspecting it over. "I'm not sure Mabel, I can somehow feel that weird feeling you two are getting though."

"I'm getting it too Poindexter." Stan told his twin as he put his hands on the table.

"Great Uncle Ford, do you think that book has to do with Bill?" Dipper asked him, his mind couldn't comprehend what that book could contain. Information to keep Bill contained would be great, but if it had information for Bill's great destruction of the world would be dangerous. Though he can't help but think it was none of those options.

Ford sat at the table and so did Stan. He looked at his family and back at the book sighing. "Maybe Dipper... We have to open it to figure out what it might be about. Just think of the outcomes of what this book might hold of it is about Bill!" He handed it back to Dipper. "You should be the one to open it since you found it."

The brunet took back the book carefully and started unbuckling the belt lock. He opened it up slowly and turned the black pages to reach its first words. "Written by Blair Lux by request of William Rehpic." Dipper read aloud.

"Isn't Rehpic spelled backwards Cipher?" Mabel questioned looking at her family members who agreed.

"This might have been about him when he was human possibly." Stanley suggested as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Could be Stanley, but this book is so well condition. Cipher lived for a very long time you know. I wonder why it looks like this even though it's been pass forever since he became a demon."

Dipper kept reading from the book as his family listened on.

I have written this book many times to write his story of his life. I hope readers will pass down his stories for me so he may liven on.

He flipped a couple of pages to the actual story.

A long time ago I met a young blond magician. He was mysterious, but very well know to the public about his occupation. He did magic shows far and wide across the globe becoming rich as he did so. His name was William Rephic, age 18, youngest well known magician who had top demands for shows from many places. He did many shows by giving everything he's got to make his audience awe at the sight of his performance. Even performing new and dangerous tricks that make you think he would not make it. Cheerful and reckless is what I thought about him as spent more and more time with him. He even had this weird fascination with the color yellow that made me laugh most of the time.

Dipper laughed too when he stopped reading. "Yeah this definitely sounds like Bill alright."

His family looked at him confused as to why it seemed funny to Dipper.

Everyday I keep finding something new about him as life continued. For example, the people he is surrounded by, they were close friends in my opinion. There were 10 of them that I continuously see that met with the young magician. Three of them being females and the rest of them being males, mixing of different ages. William was happy being around them whenever I saw one of them or all of them together. Cortney Wells was a beautiful red hair teenage maiden. She hung around William most of the time with her other friends. One of them being, another teenage that hung around, named Ravie Valentine. He does music for some of William's magic performances. I heard they use to date each other, but their relationship didn't work out in the end. Those two usually help around out after William's magic shows to clean up and restock merchandise. Which leads two other people, Sylvester Oak and Stallone Oak, brothers that manage the gift shop. Sylvester usually handles making the money come in to pay bills and supplies for the shows. Stallone is the one to keep his brother in line while trying to study and gain as much information as possible. His friend McCarter Gunther enjoys Stallone and Williams company as they keep trading ideas with each other. He schools me because I couldn't go to school because I traveled with William a lot. I made friends with the two other females of the group. A brunette who's named Stella Oak and a blond named Atica Compass. Stella is a friendly cheerful girl thats one of those people person, she got along with people easily, so she got to handle customers all the time. Atica in public was kinda stuck up to people, but really when she's with all of us she can be her real self. She's actually kind and likes helping others, she's in charge of the ticket booth. William treated the both of them as his little sisters. Then there was William's apprentice, Leon Joy, who looked up to him with respect. William would teach the kid some of his tricks while the young boy would try to figure out the rest of it. He really did like messing with the Leon sometimes. Then there was Luke Altario Rez Cannos, he was the guy you could count on to help you with anything really. He's held clean up, fix things, and help set up before a performance.

"Well that 9 of them so far, what about the tenth person?" Stan asked Dipper as he skimmed the words about the 9 people described in the book.

He even had to flip a few pages to find out about the tenth person. "That's a lot of pages for 9 people." He commented and then counted reading to answer his Grunkle Stan's question.

I forgot to mention earlier in my writing about the tenth person within our group. His name is Dominic Oak, the younger brother of Stella Oak. Both of them were one year apart so Stella being 17 and Dominic 16 at the time. The brunet would hang around William a lot more than the other 9 people. He's an enigma that puzzled me just like William. They'd often talk secretly to each other and play games before one of the magician's magic shows. I found out, one day, he even has a birth mark that you don't even see often. I even gave him the nickname Star Child, which made him blush every time I used it on him.

Dipper blushed just from reading the nickname. "Well we don't have much info about him."

"Sounds like he was really close to Bill and important too. I wish would could find more information about him." Ford said to them and let Dipper continue reading.

The teen flipped a couple of pages that didn't seem to be too important to read. He stopped when he felt some sad emotions running through him.

William had suffered from losing 9 of his friends. They had turned their back to him one day after on of his big magic shows. The only one who didn't leave was Dominic which was a good thing in my opinion. He had the strongest bond with William and if he left- well I think he would just break all together.

A couple of months past and I was out in town getting things for William's magic show. I stumbled upon a conversation I had wished never to hear. Dominic was talking with our used to be friends. They were trying to convince him to leave William like they did, even going as far as to use threats on him. Thankfully Dominic stood his ground to tell them to leave him alone before storming off. I quickly left the area myself before they could notice me. I was glad Dominic chose us over them, he made William happy and supported him after all.

"I can't believe they would do that, sure Bill wasn't evil yet at the time, but that's just so mean. Who leaves a friend without a good reason?!" Mabel exclaimed furious with the 9 people who had left Bill.

Stan nodded, "Yeah, I have to agree with you sweetie. What kind of jerks do that? Before the evil dorito, he was a good guy who made lots of money for goodness sakes."

Dipper was also mad on the inside and kept reading after skipping a few more pages.

William and I had just come back from one of his over seas magic show performances. So to say it went out with a big blast that made everyone awe at the sight yet again. Back on topic, we made it to the office or home of magic, otherwise know as William's performance house. We went to go greet Dominic back in his office, but before I could even say hello I let out a loud terrified scream. There in the room was Dominic Oak, blood stained his white desk red as it pooled by the teen's head. Lady Life, he was dead and I was sure she was mourning for him. I turned to look at William and I could see his horrified face. His eyes widen and mouth opening and closing saying soundless words. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he walked past me to get to the sleeping Dominic. He sleeps forever, never to wake up to see us again.

For some reason all the Pines were crying, three of the same reason, but one for another reason he did not know.

"I- I this is just so sad now..." Mabel cried wiping her tears with her sweater sleeve.

"It's horrible." Ford and Stan say at the same time clenching their fists.

Dipper didn't say anything and kept reading after he skipped more pages.

After the funeral of Dominic Oak, William and I slowly tried to recoup our bearings and pick ourselves up. William resilient himself by wearing a fake mask of happiness and only let go of it when we were alone. It helped him recover quickly a bit every so often. He only did small shows too and ignored the big shows that he was usually happy about to attend.

Life went on and one day William had suddenly summoned the devil. I was there to be their witness, I cried watching everything as the once happy William broke himself down because of his shattered life. He wanted the pain to end, so he made a deal with the devil in return for a big favor. William agreed without hesitation and made a deal with the devil. The next thing I knew was hearing William screaming in agony, I forgot how long it lasted until it morphed into insane laughter.

William had become a devil himself. More preferred to be called a demon than a devil.

Even when he told me I could leave him alone and go live my life, I decided stayed with him. I promised from the beginning that I would write his life story and I will continue with it.

Dipper decided to skip more pages seeing that it was starting to get late when he checked the time.

A year had past and we were on our way to another town. Along the way we bumped into someone we never though we'd see again. A brunette carrying a basket with supplies smiled at them. She was the reincarnated Stella Oak. As a reminder she had died a couple months after her brother due to depression of her brother's death. We quickly apologized to her and left her to her errands which lead us to another bump into a reincarnated Ravie Valentine who was out practicing his instrument. We were faster to leave him since he was distracted by his playing.

Miss Fate seemed to like playing with us because the last person we bumped into, before leaving again, made William cry. We had met the reincarnation of Dominic Oak. William surprised the young boy by hugging him tightly while crying on his shoulder.

It seemed that every time the ten of them died, they'd be reincarnated again. William always found his way to the reincarnation of Dominic Oak and found his part in the male's life.

Years have past and it has been a while since I wrote because I had gotten ill and weak. William had brought me to a clinic where they had put me on bed rest. I'm old now and I have no regrets on my decisions that I have made. William gained more and more knowledge over the years while we've been traveling together. His powers are as strong as ever.

I just want to say thank you William for making my life worth living.

Goodbye and thank you. -Blair Lux

Dipper flipped through the pages of the rest of the book to find many drawings with some notes beside them. One drawing was Bill's summoning wheel.

William had nicknames for his friends that I thought were funny and cute. So when I found out his summoning wheel I found he was surrounds by his friends.

"Guys, take a look of this..." He flipped the book around and showed the notes Blair wrote down about the symbols of Bill's Wheel.

Pointing out that the symbols each represented Bill's friends.

"So basically, we're most of his reincarnated friends..." Mabel says sadly while being mad at her past self for doing that to Bill. "We even got rid of him too, to end Weirdmageddon."

The four of them sighed heavily.

"Okay everyone, let's get some sleep on this. I'll try reading the book myself tomorrow." Ford told them and they nodded.

They said their goodnights to everyone and went into their rooms.

Dipper placed the book on his nightstand and laid in his bed to sleep. He looked at the book on the nightstand for a bit before shaking his head. "Just get some sleep Dipper." He mumbled to himself and drifted off to sleep.
