+Mystery Shack: Afternoon+

"So that's all I have gotten from Dominic at the moment. I'll ask him more when I think of some other questions as this keeps up." Ford concluded the group meeting with everyone from the cipher's zodiac. He closed the journal and put it aside in his coat.

Mabel stretched and smiled like usual. "Well we can start some recovery process by spending time with William then! I think one at a time is good, but Dominic will have to stay too, or else he'll just run away back to him."

The group nodded at the idea until they heard a phone ring, followed by more rings from different people. They all checked their phones and found they got a text from Tambery with an attached photo.

"Whoa, I didn't know the town was holding a magic show, we should go!" Grenda exclaims excitedly.

Stan hummed. "Wait a second, I know for one that the Mayor would have announced something big like this." He told them as he looking into the attached photo more. The picture was of a large stage with yellow and black curtains covering it. There in front of the stage was a  sign was that read:

Show Time!

6:00-8:00 p.m.

Come one all to be amazed! We grantee your utmost promise of entertainment.

The group decided to go together and they made it to the park within a couple of minutes.They found the most of the town's citizens there sitting on some set up chairs. They sat down with them too and they all chatted for awhile.

Then without a sound, someone came up onto the stage and faced them with a smile.

The first to notice was Mabel. "Dominic?" She says catching the attention of those around her. Soon the rest of the audience caught on to Dipper standing on stage. Only those who really understood that he was not Dipper at all at the moment.

Dominic held a finger his mouth to tell then to keep quiet. He turned around and went to the curtain to part it open. The crowd saw a blond man sitting on his chair, slightly tilted back, whistling while playing with cards. From shuffling to making them scatter in the air and freeze.

The cards suddenly flew past the parted curtain and circled above the crowd. They watched in awe at the cards floating in the air.

"Now everyone...", Everyone moved their attention back to the stage where the blond man was now standing facing them, "Let the show begin!" He exclaims with a grin. "The name's William and I'll bring you into a magical world you wish you'll never want to end." The blond clapped his hands together and there cards flew back to him and landing in a neat deck in the palms of his hands.

Dominic chuckled and disappeared backstage to retrieve some supplies for William.

"I must thank you all, really, for taking your time to come watch. As for my first trick, I would like a volunteer to start up the show!" William put his cards away and searched the crowd for any willing volunteers. "No one? What a shame, I guess my dear assistant must take up the duty then." He smiled as he looked towards Dominic who just came out with a chest. William walked over to him and bent down to the chest giving it a yank open, there he started pulling out objects. Heavy chains, locks, a key, and a chainsaw that scared them, even worse when they saw the Pines boy chuckling a bit. "If you will my dear assistant." He offered his hand to Dominic.

Dominic took the hand offered to him and he was led into the chest, he bent himself in a comfortable way to fit himself in. He stayed silent as William closed up the chest with him inside.

William chained the chest up tightly with the chain and locked it all up with he locks. He clapped and the forgotten chainsaw was in his hands. "A shame such a wonderful looking chest must be cut." He laughed as he started up the machine and it let out a roar.

The audience watched with fear and most covered their eyes. Even the Pines Family and friends wanted to tell him not to do it and scream, but they didn't.

The magician brought down the chainsaw straight through the middle and made a quick slash through the side. Everyone in their seats held their breath when William dropped the now off machine to the floor. The blond snapped his fingers and the chains came slipping off the chest and the chest opened like it wasn't broken at all after they had seen him cut it up.William didn't look in the box, but simply held out his hand out before the box.

A hand appeared and held it, there standing up was a unharmed lady with long brown hair instead of the male from earlier. She was slim and very elegant when she managed to completely get out of the chest and stand by his side.

Everyone gave an applause for William and the now unknown female. She disappeared backstage, only to come back out with daggers in her hands. She gave them to William silently and he thanked her. "For my next trick I will be bring out my other assistant!" He exclaimed and threw the dagger high into the air with the attention of the crowd following.

They fell, piercing the floor with its sharp ends and smoke covered the floor of the stage. William clapped his hands and a large square box appeared next to him. He grinned and pulled the lid off. "Let's see whats in here to bring him back." He pulled out a familiar hat and shrugged giving it to the female, she held it. Next came came a blue hoodie, he shook his head and once again gave it to the female. Then came some short grey pants, along with a orange shirt and gave it to her again. "Where on earth is he?" He questioned playfully.

The crowd wanted to laugh out loud when they saw Dipper come out from behind the curtain only in his boxers with a irritated look. The female, who looked just like him, handed him his pants, then the shirt, and his hoodie. She giggled a bit and placed the last article of clothing on his head. The both of them gave each other a fist bump and smiled at the still searching magician. The female went back stage to get something, leaving Dipper with William.

"Come out, come out where ever you are~" William says with half of his body hanging out of the box. The crowd saw Dipper roll his eyes and walked over to him, only to push the rest of the magician in the box. He quickly closed it up and the brunette came running out with a large hammer. She slammed the hammer on top of the box that held William inside.

The box now without the hammer on top, was a flat box. Dipper picked it up and open the top. William appeared laughing, not hurt at all, coming to looking at the audience. "Sorry about all that dear audience! Hmm, I feel like having a volunteer now. Don't worry, you won't have to participate in the dangerous stuff." William assured them.

A few hands were held up and chose Gideon Gleeful to come up. The albino walked over to the stage and one it, standing between Dominic and the mysterious female.

Dominic clapped his hands together and made a deck of cards appear. The female disappeared once more behind the curtain to retrieve something.

"Alright kid," He say after being given e deck of cards, "Chose any card from this deck and show it to the audience. Make sure they know what card you have!" He shuffled the deck once and passed it to the boy. Gideon was quick to choose and gave it back to William. Then he went to the front of the stage and showed the front row what was on his card.

The King of Clubs.

"Now if you would, place the card in your pocket and zip it closed." Gideon followed his orders then notice the female come back with some tape and scissors. She handed the tape to William and the blond looked towards the audience. "I advise all viewers to try not to do this a home! But, if you do, then do it to some you least like." William went over to Dipper and began taping his face, covering the lower parts of it. "Okay," he held set of a new deck of cards in his hands that were red, "I'll pick one of these and show them to you. I'll guess your card on the first try!"

William randomly picked a card and showed it to Gideon. "Is this your card?" He held the Jack of Diamonds.

Gideon shook his head and the crowd seemed displease by the events.

"Dear me, Dominic! You were suppose to remind me what he had!" The blond magician exclaimed while the brunet tried to say something, but you could only hear him muffle words. "My lady of you would."

The female brunet went and cut the tape off Dominic's face with the scissors. When he was finally free of it he spit out something into his hand. He gave it to William, who gave it to Gideon.

Gideon opened the folded thing and his eyes widened at the outcome. In his hands was the King of Clubs, his card that he had hide in his pocket.

William smirked and made a gesture for the albino to check his pocket in where his card should be. Gideon checked, but to his surprise it wasn't there. "Around of applause for our helpful volunteer and my assistance!"

The crowd clapped their hands and the show continued on. Their amazement at the magic tricks shown never lowered after that.

+After the Show+

Most of the audience had already left after the show had finished. The Pines Family and some of their friends were going backstage to give William some compliments on his magic show.

The turned around the corner and as they slowly approached they could hear the two talking.

"Come on Dominic! Let's have some fun and dance like we use to after every show."

"William this isn't like old times. We're out in the open and you know I don't like it if someone sees."

"Aw you know you want too~"

"Maybe some other time."

They peeked around the corner to find the two together. William, arm around Dominic's waist and his other hand holding Dominic's free hand. The magician had a teasing look on his face, but it was also relaxed and more true. Dominic smiled up at William with a caring look.

"Then may I at least have a reward kiss for my doing well in my show." William asked.

Dominic thought for a moment and nodded. He leaned up and pecked a kiss on William's lips.

Thought the magician had other plans than a simple peck on the lips. He wrapped his arms around Dominic's Waist and lifted his up. He deepened the kiss and smiled into it.

Mabel took the opportunity to take out her phone and snap a photo of them kissing.

William heard the snap of the camera and held up on of his hands to show a peace sign for victory. That made her giggle and take another photo. William let go of Dominic whose face was beat red from the kiss.

Stan cleared his throat and looked at William. "You did great with your show William."

"Thanks Fez, got to keep practicing though, or else I'll falter my routine." William replied going back to standing behind Dominic.

Said brunet was still trying to get his bearings together.

By he time they were done talking they went back to the shack to go rest up for the night. Their friends decided to go home and meet up tomorrow for other strategies. William had to carry the dazed Dominic on his back so they could head home.

+With William and Dominic+

William and Dominic laid on Dipper's bed until they fell asleep. They held each others hands and looked into each other's eyes for awhile.

"I guess this is where we part for the time being William."

The blond squeezed Dominic's hand a bit. "Can we stay together for just a while longer my dear?"

Dominic smiled and snuggled closer to William. "We mustn't keep our present selfs from each other too. We have to move on soon, we'll seen each other again hopefully."

William wrapped his other arm around his love to keep him close, to know he's still there.

"I love you Dominic."

"I love you too William, I always will."

After they said their parting words, they submit to a blissful sleep.

+In Dipper/Dominic's mind+

Both brunet's looked at each other like they were in front of the mirror.

"I'll give you back to the world. Please take care of both William and Bill." Dominic bowed to Dipper.

Dipper took a step back. "So your past me after all."

Dominic nodded and walked closer to Dipper, giving him a hug. "If you ever need help, just call for me."

Dipper hugged his past self back tightly. "I will, I promise."

+Bill/William's mind+

"Who are you?" Is what Bill asked his look alike when they appeared before each other.

The magician laughed a bit. "I use to be you long ago."

"That doesn't really answer my question you idiot meat sack." Bill glared at his look alike.

William rolled his eyes and put a hand on William's shoulder. "Just protect Dominic and Dipper when you return." He told Bill in a firm tone.

"You don't have to tell me idiot." Bill turned away and started walking out. "I already know what to do."

"He's too important to lose."
