He Won't Say It Out Loud
Hello my lovely Spawns(I decided to call my followers this)! Sorry I haven't been on a lot, things have been busy. Short chapter now, but I'll make the next chapter long. Thx for understanding! -DipperCipher0
+Dream: Bill+
The dream demon took in his surroundings, he's in a yellow and black colored room filled with trinkets. Mostly things a magician would need to preform for shows. Next to him was a male, who looked just like him, but his eyes were a silver color in both eyes. His appearance was also slightly younger than his current age.
The male hummed as he walked over to the desk prying one of his thick books open. "Come on, what's a guy got to do to clear his mind? I need it clear so I can come up with more tricks before the next performance."
"William!" A voice came from the other side of the door. Bill turned around in time to see a young brunet boy come in holding a chess board. "I came over to play."
"Not now Dominic, I busy." William replied in a stern tone. "I need to figure out what tricks I'll preform for the next event."
Dominic merely rolled his eyes as he came over to the table and set the chess board down. "Just one game William or else Stella will have both our heads. She wants us to bond more since we came back from the camping trip."
William sighed and looked at the male, he knew it was true when he said Stella would have their heads if they didn't listen to her. He was the older one yet he couldn't say no to the girl he treated like a younger sibling. "Fine, one game. After that I need to get back to preparing for my next performance." He picked up the stack of books on the table to clear it off. Dominic sat on the chair and set up the chess board. Bill step over next to young Dominic watching him set up the game.
"Back or white?" Dominic asked.
"Black as always," William sat across from the male with a smile.
Bill watch them play an entire game of chess. He stood in front of the table between the two, William to his left and Dominic to his right. Dominic was able to attack first, but the magician made a turning move. More and more his pawns approached and took over young Dominic's side of the board.
"You always sacrifice the pawns William." Dominic comments as he takes one of the blond's pawns.
William merely rolled his eyes and moved his knight to take the burnet's bishop. "They have no other use on the board except for sacrifice. After all, this game is like life." After he watched Dominic make his next move, he placed his queen close to a winning distance. "Checkmate."
Dominic analyzed his moves on the board. "Just because they're pawns doesn't mean that they're only good for sacrifice." He picked up his White Queen, moving it to capture William's King. "Game."
"You forgot to say checkmate." William murmured glaring at the board.
"Either way, your King would have been surrounded anyways." He pointed to the other pawns within the William's queen area. Most of Domini's pawns were there surrounding the square where the King once stood. A White Bishop also near by Which was also in position to be able to take the Black King. William would have lost even if he did take a pawn. "Not a lot of people would notice the presence a pawn close to their King."
William cracked his knuckles lessen the ache in his hands. "If I were a demon I would curse you for kinda cheating." Bill made playful glare towards the young blond, a small growl arising from his throat.
"No you wouldn't." The brunet chuckled as he cleaned the chess bored. "We both know you would never try to kill me or anyone for a fact." He put the pieces away in a different compartment under the thick board. Then he pulled out one of the table drawers open and pulled out a piece of paper with a pencil.
"What are you doing now Dominic?" William and Bill watched Dominic draw a circle, thus drawing a few symbols in each sections.
'Isn't that may summoning circle?' Bill thought, he got closer to Dominic enough that he could be breathing against the back of his neck.
Dominic replied, "Just thought I would draw you a summoning wheel if you ever become a demon, which I doubt would ever happen." He laughed making William pout. The brunet stood up, leaning over the table, "If anything, I think you could make a fine angel."
Bill and William blushed at the words that passed through Dominic's lips.
Realizing what he just said, the brunet became flustered and threw the paper at the magician. He picked up the chess board and ran out of the room. William could only stare after him with a scarlet flushed face.
The magician groaned and placed his forehead against the cold surface of the table to leaves the heat. "Dominic..." William picked his head up to look again at the drawing the young boy made. He chuckled, Bill next to him looking over his shoulder. "I guess you wanted to say I'm always surrounded by my friends."
Bill watched a pleasant smile grace the young blond's face. He stiffened when he saw William move his gaze to look at him. "W-What-"
"Bill."
The dream demon silenced himself.
"Remember and take care of him."
+Reality: Mystery Shack+
Bill sat up quickly and rubbed his eyes. He blink once, then twice. He covered his eyes with one hand, "What?" The blond looked around the room. It was silent. His breathing the only thing he could hear.
He pressed the heel of his hand on his left eye and fell back on the bed. The ceiling was molding as always and the darkness was still there, meaning it was still early in the morning. The sun isn't even up yet!
Just outside the door to the room was Dipper. He had left the bed earlier to check on his recovering twin. She was doing fine thankfully enough, her breathing and heart were fine. Mabel is recovering well away from death and that was enought to put him to ease. The brunet walked over to the window in the hallway and sat down on the still.
"How are you doing Dipper?" Dominic asked as he appeared standing next to him.
"Just a bit tired is all, other than that I'm fine." A yawn passed through and he smiled. "I'm glad, I'm back home with my family and Bill."
Dominic chuckled and sat himself next to Dipper. He leaned his head on the teen's shoulder, eyes looking at the triangle design on the window glass. "Speaking of Bill," he says with a hint of amusement, "when are you gonna ask him?"
"About what?" Dipper asked confused.
"When are you gonna ask the guy to date you? Confess I should say." Dominic bluntly asked him which earned him a stiff teen. "You said it before, you love him."
"I said that in the mind Dominic... I don't know about saying it out loud." Dipper crossed his arms and laid his back against the wall. "What if it ruins that bond we just made?"
The spirit hummed as he closed his eyes. "Well the both of you almost kissed back in the forest. Doesn't that count as something?"
Dipper blushed remembering said event, "I-It was kinda at the heat of the m-moment..." His fingers traced patterns on the window glass. Though he may think he's denying it, his heart beats were telling the truth.
"Do you wanna know something Dipper?"
"What is it now Dominic?"
A smile made its way onto the spirit's lips. "Next time you look at Bill's summoning wheel, take a good long look at it, very closely if you will. You'll find something I put in there for him."
"What do you-" Dipper turned to look at the spirit next to him, but Dominic already vanished from his side. He took a deep breath and sighed, resuming to look out the window. "-mean... Next time huh?"
Time seem to slip into a steady motion as he fell into a daze watching the sky through the window. After awhile, Dipper got of the window sill and went back to his room where he found Bill awake.
The dream demon has his back against the wall while his eyes focused looking through the small triangular window.
"You're awake." Dipper said breaking the silence.
Bill turned his attention to him as he keeper his neutral expression. "I am." There was an awkward silence for a few minutes between them before Bill spoke again. "How's Shooting Star?"
"She's recovering well Bill so don't worry. Her breathing is normal and her heart is beating at a good pace." He looked down at the floor, for a moment finding them interesting. "I just hope she wakes up soon." His voice going slightly in a sad tone. If his twin went in a coma, he would always wonder when she would wake up, or how long of her life will she miss.
Sensing Dipper's uneasiness, Bill held his hand out to Dipper. He looked at the brunet with a hopeful expression. "Come here PineTree." It was a simple order or should he say request. Nothing less he did it anyways. Dipper walked over to the bed and Bill pulled him into a comforting embrace. The blond pulled the blanket around them to keep the both of them warm. "Shooting Star will be fine, rest assured PineTree. Form what I'm monitoring right now she's experiencing so dreams before waking up."
"So she gonna wake up soon?" Dipper questioned.
"It takes time to heal kid, so let her have her time and don't rush her. If we some how interfere then the result of her waking will prolong even more." He told the teen in wise like tone that made Dipper chuckle. Bill snuggle his head close to the human's neck raising a blush from the male.
The human repeated in his mind, silently as possible, to clam himself. 'Bill's been kinda affectionate lately, but it's comforting.' He thought to himself as he petted the demon on the head gently.
The sat in the darkness of the early morning darkness in their room. Each passing second gave them time to sort through their mind since a lot has happened. Bill fell asleep once again with his head on Dipper's shoulder.
Feeling a little bit brave, the brunet leaned close to the blond's ear to whisper three sweet little words.
"I love you."
