Y/n POV:

    "Yes! Alright, goodbye Afmeow, Y//nm and stupid stupid Laurence." Caster was now apart of the alliance after the three of us had a 'secret' conversation about the pros and cons. We went back up the hill where everyone else was sitting or standing around with all our horses. Laurence tried standing next to me where I just walked away. He made a comment earlier that I didn't find too appropriate.

I had known for a few months now that Brendon was the Horse Shaman. He lived out here with his wife, Issa, since that whole bandit thing. But since they fixed up the wall, Brendon might move back in and give the house back to the Chicken Shaman. Aphmau, Laurence and I went over to the house to talk to him about borrowing horses. "Hey, Zoey was fussing again about us leaving our weapons out again."

We both snickered from all the constant reminders we had been given over the years.

"Hah, oh that reminds me! Did she give Ocean her lecture yet?" We were speaking kinda loud so the others didn't have to eavesdrop to hear us. "Ocean?" Aphmau asked the question wanting to know what we were talking about. "O-Ocean. You know, the ocean! There isn't an exact name for it and whenever Zoey wanted to get something personal off her chest, she talks to herself at the docks. Normally it's a lecture about the same problem but we just say she is talking to her friend Ocean!"

Brendon gave me a look for my answer and I sent one back before he smiled again and changed the subject to horses. There was more than enough of them for us to borrow, but he wanted us to bring them back after. We gave our thanks then rode off after Cadenza towards New Mateli. It took us all day, but we finally made it to the inside gates. Of course everyone was stopped but were let in of the account of their Lord, Cadenza.

The town was complimented for how stylized the houses were. "Thank you Lady Aphmau. Now, it's getting late and quite frankly I'd like to get you girls cleaned up before we head to bed." We were confused on the concept of 'cleaned up'. My clothes are perfectly fine as they are. "What am I talking about? Look at you Aphmau! I'm sorry to say but you're a mess, plus you were around the Chicken Shaman which..... doesn't do anything good for your scent. Laurence and Y/n you're guilty as well."

"Hey!" We both had our objections but I wouldn't say no to a bath since I too noticed the guy's smell. We were informed that the meeting with her council would not happen until tomorrow, after we are actually presentable. Cadenza then instructed the girls and guys into different houses.

   God. Damn. Cadenza. All of our clothes were taken and we were given some revealing 'dresses' to wear. Basically some of us were given super thin and long shirts that Cadenza calls a dress which Baotou reached my thigh while others were given thin skirts and bras. I was given the first, being slightly humiliated at the fact that she also gave me knee high socks. Asshole.

Cookie(R.I.P.)'s puppy, Crumb, was upstairs with us. Aphmau gawked for a few minutes.

    It was a decent sized room for 6 girls to be staying in together. The others were quick to fall asleep as I stared at the ceiling. It's been a long while since I've been this relaxed, it's kind of suspicious. I'd have to go see Nicole in about 10 days. So that's still something to remember and look forward to. My eyelids grew heavy and I turned over to the side. The last thing I remember was seeing Aphmau disappear from her bed, but I might have already been asleep.

    I wasn't asleep. Everyone woke up the next morning and she wasn't there. Emmalyn and Katelyn were both concerned and running around to look for her, while Cadenza and I shared a look of suspicion. An hour had passed from their searching as Emmalyn, Cadenza and I stayed in the house. Emma was pacing while the both of us stood silently, having a mental conversation.

Aphmau POV:

    I woke up with a splitting headache. Emmalyn seemed panicked while Y/n and Cadenza were zoned out. "Uh, where is Katelyn?" I asked as then three of them turned to look at me. "It's true!" Cadenza yelled out in surprise at her and Emma bombarded me. "Aphmau did you see anyone random in your dream?!" The question caught me off guard.

    "A-actually yes! I saw Garroth! How did you know?!" I was in a green plain with a heathy tree dead in the middle. I had walked towards it and Garroth came from behind. He was just as confused as I was, if not more. He asked me that even if this were a dream to tell Y/n how he felt. That this was his fault and he was happy for her and Laurence. That last part had me stuck for a second.

    "Did he see you?" Said girl asked next. I nodded my head still wondering how they knew this. "Wait, that doesn't make sense. Y/n it would only work for you with either you seeing them or them seeing you. Does this have something to do with Irene's relic??" More questions started popping up in my head as I sat upwards. "You saw Garroth, Y/n?!" She blinked at me before shaking her head.

"No, that's not what we are referring to. I-it's a little hard to explain but.... remember when the two of us first went to the wolf tribe-village? Khira had said some nonsense about me and magicks. It turns out that she was actually right and how Kiki can understand and talk to animals, I learned that I could, interrupt people's sleep. But Aphmau, the fact is that my physical body leaves and that's what yours just did."

Emmalyn then cut in yelling about how I left and where too. All I know is that I was asleep, I'd have to have a follow up conversation with Y/n later. Emma's questions then started turning to if others could be taken there with me. Cadenza snapped her fingers with an idea. "Aphmau, you said that you thought it was a dream and had in fact fallen asleep. If that is case then shouldn't Y/n be able to go with you?"

That does actually make sense. "But what if that was a one time thing?" I asked out as my previous headache was now only a dulled out pain. "I may not remember much, but this is definitely something that happens at least 3 more times." That... made me feel better. Garroth shouldn't be there alone even if only 10 seconds had passed for him. "This meeting is gonna have to be postponed to tonight or tomorrow since I had everyone out searching and will have to retrieve them."

Cadenza told us that clothes were set out in the bathroom for us to wear. Before the three of them left me to rest again. Still after all that, I was extremely tired.
