After a month. It was weekend. Like every other weekend. They all met at Avni's place.

The boys were in the living area, talking randomly. Hazel was sleeping in the room. Avni came out of the kitchen with biscuits and tea.

Avni (placing plates on the table): Di snacks leke aayi.

Sid: Okay...

Avni looked at Akshit, and he nodded. He stood up from his place and stood near the table.

Zalak came with snacks. She kept the plates on the table. Akshit held her wrist once her hands were free.

Akshit (taking a deep breath): Mujhe kuch confess karna tha.

Listening to his words, Zalak's eyes were wide open. She looked at Sid and then Avni.

Akshit (holding her chin, to make her look at him): Zalak (he sighed) Zalak, I want to spend my life with you (closing his eyes) Fuck yaar bhul gaya... Fuck!!! Huh!!! Okay!!! Zalak, I started liking you a long. Slowly, I felt that was not mere like but love. I started to feel for you and I want to spend my life with you. I want you to be with me, beside me when I achieve everything. I want you beside me in my failures. I want to play the same role in your life. I want to be Your life partner, best friend, strength and everything. I love you, Zalak.

Zalak was looking at him with wide eyes. She was shocked.

Avni: Come on di say yes...

Sid (cheering her): Come on di. Finally, koi to mila to iss musibat ko leke jane ko ready hai apne sath. Say yes di.

Zalak snapped at him in shock.

Hazel (giggling): Yes Zalak di...

Sid: Arey di jaldi karo! Aese wait nahi karao usko. Uska mood change ho gaya to
musibat mere gale jab tak koi or bakra mile.

Avni slapped him on his arm. He chuckles.

Zalak looked at Akshit with tears in her eyes, her lips wobbled. Akshit pulled her in a tight hug.

Akshit (pecking her head): I love you.

Zalak (sobbing): I love you too.

Once, Zalak calmed down. Akshit broke the hug and pecked her forehead.

Avni: I guess hume love birds ko akela chorna chaye.

Sid: Pehle mujhe di se baat karni hai.

He went towards her. She turned towards him.

Sid: This is so wrong di. Maine Avni ke bare nahi bataya to aap itna gussa thi and we promised, right? Hum ek dusre se nahi chupayege. Aapne itni badi baat chupai to chupai upar se khud se assume kar baithe itna kuch. Aap itni badi misunderstanding rakh kar apna pyaar sacrifice karne chale the. Arey! Ek baar to at least mujhe samajhane ke liye hi sahi but baat to karte. Aese Avni se pata chala mujhe.

Zalak: Maine try kiya baat karne jab tune bola you don't trust him because he left Avni in mid. Situations to kuch bhi aa sakti hai but we need that person with us. Isliye mujhe bhi laga tu sahi hai.

Sid: Di but vo baat full nahi thi. Vo to Avni ne samajhaya varna future me to hum dono regret karte. Aap seriously buddu ho.

Zalak: Haa to theek hai na. Teri sangat ka thora bahut to asar hoga na itne saalo se sath me rahe rahe hai.

Sid looked at her narrowing his eyes.

Sid: Ji nahi... Buddhu aap day 1 se ho. Chalo choro mujhe mere hone wale jijju se milne do. He is going to take the biggest problem on his head. At least let me motivate him.

He walked towards Akshit and hugged him, congratulating him. Avni too congratulated them.

Akshit: Acha to hum chale?

Zalak: Hum as in?

Sid: Aapke liye Akshit ne surprises plan kiye hai di. Go and enjoy.

Zalak blushed a little. Akshit held her hand and they went out.

Once, they left.

Sid (pulling Avni through her waist): Finally, mila hume akele time.

Avni: What do you mean by finally? Kal date par hum gaye the na.

Sid: To vo kal ki baat thi. Aaj thori mila.

Avni (rolling her eyes): Kabhi tume enough nahi hote na.

Sid: Tabhi to bolta hoon jaldi se shaadi karte hai. I can have you all the time with me.

Avni blushed. Just then Hazel came out of the room, rubbing her eyes.

Hazel (lazily): Buaa...

Her eyes fell on Sid.

Hazel (excited): Sidoooo...

She ran towards him. Sid chuckled. He took her in his arms.

Avni: Abhi to Avni ke sath time spend karna tha kisi ko.

Sid (pulling her in his arms): Haa abhi bhi karna hai na. Dono ke sath.

He pecked her cheek.

Hazel (patting her cheek): Mujhe bhi Sidoo.

Sid pecked her cheek too. Avni and Hazel pecked his cheeks together, making him smile widely.

They sat enjoying their time.
