Vaish: Chalo chalo jaldi

She was asking Avu and Hazel to hurry as they were already getting late.

Avu: Hnn bhabhi. Aap na itni tension matt lia karo. Aap pehle aese nhi the yrr. Shaadi ke baad aese ho gaye. Ye sab na bhayia ke saath rehne ka result hai

She whispered the last line.

Abhi: Mujhe na sab sun raha hai by the way

He said putting on his shoes. Vaish rolled her eyes.

Vaish: Jab bache ho jaaye na to tension leni padti hai. Aur mere to ye do do bache hai. Kya karoo?

Abhi checked everything one last time.

Abhi: Mein car nikal raha hu. Sab bahar aa jaoo. Aur lock achhe se kar dena

Vaish: Ya don't worry. Avu bacha keys leli apni na tune?

Avu: Hnn bhabhi. Aap tension matt lo. Waise bhi aap mujhse pehle aa jaate ho

Vaish: Hnn for safety sake. Hum na aaye kisi din to at least you have keys to tu andar to aa sakti hai na. Warna bahar khadi rahegi

Avu felt something listening to her words.

Vaish: Ab kya hua?

Avu covered her expressions with a smile and shooked her head.

Vaish: Chal fir

Avu: Hnn okk

Avu and Hazel went outside taking their things. Vaish was about to lock the door. She felt a bit restless but ignored it. She locked the door. Abhi came with a car. Vaish settled on the passenger seat. Avu helped Hazel in sitting and then sat.

Abhi: Chale?

Vaish: Hnn

She replied wearing a seatbelt. They left teasing each other. They reached Avu's office. They saw Sid parking his bike in the parking lot. He also saw them and started coming towards their side.

Avu: Hii gadhe

Sid: Shut up

Vaish: Aaj bhi subah subah ladna shuru kar dia. Kaam karte ho saara din ek hi jagah par tum dono?

Sid: Iske saath kon kaam karta hai? Iske saath to koi kaam kar hi nhi sakta

Avu glared at him but he ignored.

Sid: Aap isse chhodo. Aap kaise ho bhayia bhabhi?

Abhi: Bass hum bohot badia. Tum sunao. Uncle aunty. Tumhari sister? Sab theek hai?

Sid: Hnji bhayia sab badiya. Abhi usse drop hi karke aa raha hu

Abhi: Chalo achha hai

Sid: Hii baby

Hazel: Hii Siddoo

She said cutely. Vaish glared at her.

Vaish: Hazel behave

Sid: It's ok bhabhi chill

He took out chocolates from his bag and forwarded them towards her.

Sid: Here. I have something for you

Hazel got excited and quickly snatched it from him.

Vaish: Siddharth this is not at all fair yrr. You are spoiling her. Kitni baar mana kia hai tumhe

Sid: Arre chill bhabhi. Kuch nhi hoga

Vaish: Agar uske daant kharab hue na to mein tujhe nhi chhodne wali

Sid: Okk koi ni. I will take all your punishments for her. She is such a cutie pie

Hazel was busy eating her chocolates not bothering about anyone.

Vaish: Hazel say thank you to uncle

Hazel: Thank you, Siddharth uncle

Avu awwed at her. Sid pointed at his cheek. She excitedly brought her face a bit out and softly pecked his cheek. Sid too kissed her nose.

Sid: Chalo take care. Abhi jaoo school. We will meet again. Okk? And I will get more chocolates

He said line slowly in her ear.

Vaish: Mujhe na sab sunta hai

Sid: Bhabhi

He whined.

Abhi: Chalo okk. Take care you both

Avu: Ya. You all also. Bye

They both waved their hand and they left.

Sid: Chale madam?

Avu: Chalie

They are both inside the office discussing some projects.

Sm1: Hii baby

Avu: Hii Akshu

She said hugging him and he kissed her cheek. Sid looked away feeling awkward. Avu broke the hug. Sid shooked hands with him.

Sid: Hii Akshit

Akshit: Hii bro. What's up?

Sid: Ya nothing much. Umm, I should leave I guess. Bye Avni. See ya around. Luch time milte hai

He left not wanting to be on the third floor between his best friend and her boyfriend.

Akshit: So what's going on?

Avu: Kuch khaas nhi. Tum batao

Akshit: Mera abhi tak to nhi tha. But aapse milkar to khaas ho hi jaata hai

He said wrapping his arms around her neck.

Avu: Ewww. That's so cringe you know. Tum thode se achhe lines nhi soch sakte. Aur yrr hum office mein hai yrr

Akshit: Okk sorry milady

He said taking his hands back.

Akshit: By the way it's a long we have gone out. To kuch plan kare?

Avu: Ya sure. We can. Kuch decide kar lete hai

They were talking and casually flirting in between.

Avu: We are getting late. To hume na andar chalna chahie I guess. Warna boss hamari class lega aaj for sure. To chale?

Akshit: Sure. After you

He gestured for her to move forward. But Avu got a call. It was an unknown number.

Avu: Just a second

Akshit smiled and nodded. Avu took the call.

Avu: Hello

....

Avu: Yes. This is Avneet Nandra speaking. May I know who is this, please?

....

Avu's body froze and her mind got numb. The phone fell from her hand. Akshit got worried and was calling her again and again. He was jerking her continuously. But everything faded out. She couldn't hear anything. A tear rolled down her eye.
