I decided to volunteer as tribute to sing the descant part in a small group of people who had the courage to do so (we haven't decided who will be the people who do it in concert though)
and the choir teacher said to the group "Ok. Now go back to your original sections and sing it." And everyone went left... And I went right.
I then realised I was the only alto that was able to comfortably sing that high and do so with courage.
And the teacher said "This will take a lot of independence from some of you... Especially <my irl name>"

Yep.
Also believe it or not, I'm actually an alto xD
I don't know how I sang that low...
I can also sing decently high too *coughMirrorMirrorcough*

My friend was shocked when she learned that I was an alto xD
She also quit choir today and is joining art.
