I swear, the example my teacher gave for annotating is something along the lines of
"<insert name here[I forgot what it was]> grabbed her dad's jacket"
And she underlined the sentence, put an arrow next to "grabbed"  and literally put "how she took her dad's jacket"

What the fuck.
How is annotating every "vivid word" (even though the example was the word grabbed...) and explaining it important?
How does it help me?!?

Oh wait, it doesn't, because I knOW ALL OF THE "VIVID WORDS" and how they're used DAMMIT.

Sometimes I wish that I had an "internet teacher" that went at my own pace, which is miles ahead of most of the people in my classroom...
it would help both the kids who are miserable because it's too confusing for them, and the kids who know everything that the teachers are trying to teach.
