Bonus 6.2

Advik, Yashvi, Adarsh, Advait, and Adya stepped out of the car, looking around, trying to spot Aashi, Yash, and Aarush. Yashvi gently pulled at Advik's sleeves, asking for her mobile phone as she dialed for her brother.

A few minutes later, Darsh stopped his bike a little away from them. A man in his mid-twenties stepped down, a soft and calm smile on his face. He had a strong jawline and warm, dark brown eyes that complemented his medium skin tone. Dressed in a black t-shirt, jeans, and a denim jacket, he looked effortlessly stylish. Yashvi kept looking at him, trying to remember who he was, while Advik, standing beside her, frowned at her lingering gaze and pulled her closer to him. This made her look at him, to which he gave her a tight smile, making her chuckle.

"I was trying to remember who he is," she softly said, patting his chest, to which he just gave her a glare before pulling his hands off her waist.

"Dii," Darsh excitedly said, hugging his sister tightly. He was extremely busy in residency and couldn't take out time to visit her. Yashvi smiled softly, caressing his back. "How are you?" she asked, patting his cheeks lightly. He nodded, and then they heard a fake cough.

"Oh... He is my friend, Sameer Mahajan. We were in the same batch and are now doing our residency at the same hospital. Even Adya knows him," Darsh introduced Sameer, who smiled at everyone. Yashvi's eyes widened in realization as she glanced at Adya, who was gazing at Sameer with unmistakable longing.

"She is my sister, Yashvi, and he is my jiju, Advik Mehrotra," Darsh said, introducing the Mehrotras to Sameer.

A minute later, Yash, along with Aarush and Aashi, arrived. Aarush rushed to Adya, screaming "Maasi!" which made everyone smile.

"Where is Esha?" Yashvi asked, glancing at Adarsh, to whom she had asked to invite Esha, his fiancée, and her little sister, Meera.

"She said that she will come directly inside. We don't need to wait for her," Adarsh softly said, to which Yashvi shook her head.

"Call her. We will wait here," Advik said, looking at his bodyguard, who had come with tickets and was overseeing everything at the fair. He first met Advik and then instructed two men to take special care of them, ensuring they wouldn't face any problems.

Yashvi patted Adarsh on the back, asking him to bend down while Advik shook his head at her. A few years back, she wouldn't speak up, and now she didn't stop.

"Take special care of Esha. Spend time with her, talk romantically with her. Don't behave like a shy bride in front of her," she said, as if teaching a child. Adarsh looked at her incredulously, as if she had grown horns on her head. His ears turned pink at her words, while Advik looked at her in shock.

"If you don't know how to talk romantically, ask your brother. He has done a PhD," she softly said, patting Adarsh's back. He backed away, his eyes widening at her words, while Advik, who heard her, grabbed her arms, pulling her back to himself. He gave an embarrassed smile to Adarsh, who was trying to control his laughter.

"Wait..." Yashvi said, pulling her hand out of his hold and turning back toward Adarsh.

"Girls like gentlemen. Before you get on a ride, ask her to get in. Girls also love food, and Esha is a foodie like me, so make her eat whatever she wants. Listen to whatever she says. You both will get married in two months. These are the good days; use them wisely," Yashvi said, patting Adarsh's biceps. He chuckled and nodded, side-hugging her. Advik smiled softly when his eyes fell on Esha, who was crossing the road, holding her younger sister's hand. Advik gestured to Adarsh, who quickly nodded, crossing the road to help the duo.

After meeting each other, everyone made their way inside. It was crowded, but it didn't feel so because of the large area it covered. As soon as Adya saw the aesthetic environment, she squealed excitedly like a kid, making everyone smile.

"Moti, don't scream. Sameer is not used to it. He would run away from here," Advait teased, photobombing her pictures, which made her angry. Adya turned toward Advik, who glared playfully at Advait.

Yashvi noticed Sameer looking at Adya with a soft expression. She glanced back at Adya, who was happily snapping photos, oblivious to his gaze.

"Bhai, I want to go on that ride!" Adya exclaimed, holding onto Advait's arm and pointing excitedly toward the giant wheel. Advik nodded and looked to the man assigned by the fair overlooker to ensure everything was arranged.

Yashvi shot Advik a playful glare before moving toward a stall where they were offering a balloon-shooting game. She gestured to the owner for a gun, but before she could reach for her wallet, Advik had already handed over a hundred-rupee note, having thoughtfully stocked his wallet with cash for the evening. It had been years since he last attended a fair, and nostalgia filled him as he remembered the childhood excitement of visiting each ride and stall.

Yashvi aimed at the balloons but missed each of her five shots. Advik chuckled, stepping in to help her. He asked the stall owner to refill the gun and guided her hands for a perfect aim. This time, all five shots hit the mark, making Yashvi's eyes sparkle with excitement as she turned around, hugging him in delight. Just then, Yash arrived with Aarush, who wanted to give the game a try.

-----

Soon, Yashvi tugged Advik toward a bangle stall, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Yashvi, we'll get them on our way back. We'd have to carry them around all evening," Advik reasoned, gently pulling her away. She shot him a mock-annoyed look, glancing around before nodding in agreement.

"Maamu!" Little Aarush's excited voice called out as he bounced toward Advik.

"Yes baby." Advik said, before picking up in his arms and kissing over his chubby cheeks. In the process, his stubble pricked Aarush who giggled loudly.

"Of course! Whatever Aarush wants, Aarush gets," Yashvi said, patting his hand and giving his cheeks a gentle squeeze.

With a mischievous grin, Aarush tugged at Advik to put him down and then ran over to the stall. Yashvi and Advik followed as Aarush eagerly threw his three rings, but none of them landed on a prize. His eyes lit up with excitement when he spotted a miniature Spiderman figure.

"Let me try," Advik said, taking the rings from the stall owner. He tossed the first two but missed, drawing a barely concealed giggle from Yashvi. With a determined look, Advik aimed carefully on his last try, and this time, the ring landed perfectly on the Spiderman miniature. Aarush squealed in joy as Advik handed it to him, receiving a cheerful kiss on his cheek in return. Yashvi watched them with a soft smile, though her thoughts drifted.

She could see how much Advik enjoyed being with Aarush, his expression lighting up whenever he held him. Yashvi's heart ached, knowing how much he had wanted their own child. Their previous pregnancy had been unplanned, but losing it left them both deeply scarred. She had felt so vulnerable, so fragile, and since then, had been quietly taking precautions. The thought of another pregnancy terrified her, though she hadn't openly shared her fears with him.

Their relationship had struggled through that period, and only now were things truly healing. Advik's longing was evident, yet every time she considered it, a familiar apprehension rose.

Advik smirked, noticing Yashvi's hesitation. He then glanced down at Aarush, who was staring at the miniature in fascination, his little face lighting up as the toy wriggled its hips when he pressed the button.

"How about we let your Maami try her luck?" Advik suggested with a playful grin. He set Aarush down, looking at Yashvi with a twinkle in his eyes. But Yashvi shook her head, clearly reluctant.

She tried to resist. "Advik, no... I'm terrible at this! I'll just embarrass myself in front of Aarush."

But Aarush's eyes widened, and he grabbed her hand, looking up at her with a pleading pout. "Please, Maami! You can do it!"

Sighing, Yashvi finally gave in, taking a ring and giving it her best shot. The first two tosses were misses, and she felt her cheeks grow warm, her expression dropping as she realized how off her aim was.

Just then, she felt Advik step up behind her. His hand slid over her wrist, guiding her, his breath warm against her neck. She couldn't help but tense slightly, her heart beating faster as his presence surrounded her.

"What are you doing?" she whispered, half-laughing, half-scolding, as she wriggled to escape. Advik only smirked, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his chin on her shoulder. Ignoring her protests, he skillfully tossed the ring and it landed perfectly on a prize—a bottle of milkshake.

As he went for another throw, Yashvi finally managed to pull herself free, giving him a playful glare. She noticed a couple of ladies nearby watching their antics with amusement, making her cheeks turn slightly pink. Advik chuckled, handed the payment to the stall owner, and turned to Yashvi, who had her phone out.

"Come here," she said, tilting her phone to snap a selfie. She flashed a wide smile at the camera, with Aarush in Advik's arms, their little trio capturing a cute, carefree moment. Aarush grinned, holding up his new prize before he dashed off to show his parents.

Yashvi watched him run off with a soft smile, her eyes lingering thoughtfully. But before she could get too lost in thought, Advik's voice broke through.

"Yashvi! Claw machine!" he called out with excitement, his eyes sparkling. He seemed to know where her mind was wandering, but he didn't push her to share.

Nodding, she followed him to the claw machine, where they both struggled to win a plushie. After a few tries, Yashvi managed to snag a little blue turtle, hugging it with delight. Spotting a pink one next to it, she looked up at Advik with a pleading look. He rolled his eyes with a smile and, after a few more tries, successfully grabbed the pink one for her.

Her gaze then locked on a cute, white-and-pink rabbit holding a flower, and she gave Advik an innocent look. He only laughed, accepting her silent request. Two tries later, the rabbit was hers. But as she glanced back at the machine, she spotted a green dinosaur plushie.

This time, she playfully pushed Advik aside, taking charge. Grabbing a token, she aimed carefully and, on her first attempt, won the plushie. Her eyes widened with excitement as she hugged the little dinosaur to her chest. Advik chuckled, pulling out his phone to capture the moment as she kissed the plushie.

With a delighted giggle, she hugged the dinosaur, glancing over at Aarush as she thought about how much he'd love it.

Yashvi glanced around, trying to decide on the first ride. Her eyes sparkled as she finally pointed towards the giant chair swing ride. This was their third amusement park visit since they married—once on their honeymoon, then during a business trip, and now. Each time, Advik had tried to avoid these bigger rides. He wasn't exactly afraid, but they often left him feeling a bit queasy. Yet, by the end, he'd always join her and enjoy it.

"That one," she said, pointing at the chair swing. Advik hesitated, glancing at Sameer, who was helping Adya into her seat, and then back to the ride.

"You don't want to come?" Yashvi asked, noticing his reluctance. She could tell how fond Sameer seemed of Adya, and she couldn't help but smile at the sight.

Advik sighed, knowing her well enough to see her excitement wane. "Not on this one, Yashvi, please."

She nodded, her excitement dimming a little. Seeing her crestfallen expression, Advik couldn't ignore it. "Let's go," he said, grabbing her hand. But she pulled back gently.

"You don't need to force yourself for me," she murmured with a soft smile.

He shook his head with a small grin. "You always say we should try everything, right? Let's experience this ride, too."

Her face lit up again as she nodded, beaming. He quickly flashed the VIP pass to the attendant, and they got inside. As soon as the ride began, Yashvi held onto Advik's arm, screaming with joy, throwing her head back, and laughing. Advik, however, gripped the ride tightly, eyes closed, bracing himself.

When they got off, Advik clutched his head, slightly disoriented.

"Advik, what happened?" Yashvi asked, guiding him to sit and rubbing his back soothingly.

"My head's just spinning a bit, but I really did enjoy it," he said, shaking his head and gratefully accepting a water bottle from Aashi, who had noticed and come over.

"I'm sorry," Yashvi whispered, her hand on his arm. He gently shook his head, side-hugging her, while Aashi smiled and quietly walked back to her husband, giving them space.

Advik took a sip and looked at Yashvi, his smile soft and warm. "Actually, I really enjoyed it. I felt... so free."

Yashvi's face softened as she rested her head on his shoulder, basking in the moment.

-----

Yashvi's eyes twinkled as they neared a chaat stall. Spotting her family gathered there, she tugged Advik's arm and led him over, quickly taking a seat beside Darsh and pulling Advik down next to her.

"Bhaiya, one batata puri, one bhel puri, and one jhalmuri," she ordered eagerly, watching as everyone enjoyed the spread. Adya, seated nearby, was happily eating her bhel puri, even feeding Advait bites in between. This kind of street food was a rare treat for their family, but Yashvi always found an excuse to drag Advik out for it every so often.

"This is so delicious!" Adya exclaimed, sighing with delight as everyone chuckled. When she began coughing from a sudden spicy bite, Sameer immediately offered her a water bottle, their eyes meeting briefly as she accepted it.

Yashvi leaned in closer to Darsh, curiosity in her eyes. "Why did Sameer come along with you?" she murmured.

Darsh looked back, slightly puzzled. "I told him my sister invited us all to the fair, and he said he wanted to join," he replied softly.

"Does he know that his friend's sister is Adya's bhabhi?" she asked, watching his reaction carefully.

Darsh nodded, and suddenly things started falling into place in Yashvi's mind. Maybe Adya's feelings weren't as unrequited as she thought. Yashvi had noticed Sameer's quiet attentiveness toward her sister-in-law throughout the last hour. Anytime Advait stepped away, Sameer would subtly fill the space, staying close to Adya's side in an almost protective way.

"Yashvi," Advik called softly, holding out a batata puri. She snapped out of her thoughts, realizing the food had arrived. Smiling, she opened her mouth, letting Advik feed her as she handed the bhel puri over to Darsh, knowing it was his favorite.

After finishing the street food, Adya's eyes sparkled at the sight of a bioscope stall nearby. Without thinking, she instinctively grabbed Sameer's hand and pulled him toward it, her excitement bubbling over. Noticing the two of them together, Advik frowned slightly. Without hesitation, he tugged Yashvi along, moving toward Adya and Sameer. Once there, Advik gave Sameer a polite yet firm smile before gently pulling Adya back to his side. Sameer's smile dimmed just a little, but he quickly masked it, offering Advik a respectful nod before taking out his wallet to pay the man at the stall.

Adya, Yashvi, and little Aarush all eagerly took their turns at the bioscope, marveling at the tiny images inside. Aarush, in particular, was captivated. After each show, he'd pull away, bursting into giggles and clapping his hands with joy, only to insist on watching it again. This happened a full five times, each time bringing new giggles and a little round of applause from him, making everyone smile at his childlike wonder.

-----

Yashvi and Advik were seated on the giant wheel, exchanging wide smiles. "You know," Yashvi began, a playful glint in her eyes, "in Korean dramas, they say that whatever you wish for at the highest point of the giant wheel comes true." Advik chuckled softly at her enthusiasm but nodded.

"Alright, let's make a wish then," Yashvi urged, tugging gently at his hand. They closed their eyes, hands clasped together, each silently making a wish as the giant wheel paused at its peak. A cool breeze swept over them, adding a rosy blush to their cheeks. When the ride resumed its slow descent, they opened their eyes and shared a warm, knowing smile, both feeling the magic of the moment.

"After this, let's get some jalebi and rabdi," Yashvi said, spotting a stall where fresh jalebis were being fried.

"Your wish is my command, madam," Advik replied with a playful grin, placing a hand dramatically over his heart and leaning forward with mock seriousness. Yashvi chuckled, feeling a surge of warmth for the man in front of her. She wished this moment could freeze in time so she could savor it forever. In her heart, Advik had become her entire world; he was the reason behind so many of her smiles, whether he knew it or not.

Her mind drifted briefly to how grateful she was for her marriage to him. When her mother arranged their match, Yashvi hadn't known then just how right a decision it would be. Advik had given her a safe space to heal from the pain her father's absence had caused. She had been able to express the anger, hurt, and sorrow she'd bottled up for years, finally letting go of the shadow her father cast over her heart. And though her father wished to be a part of her life now, she felt at peace with leaving him out of it. Her true family, her true peace, was here—with Advik.

"What are you thinking?" Advik asked, noticing the faraway look in her eyes. Yashvi simply shook her head and flashed him a smile, one reserved only for him, her eyes sparkling with unmistakable affection.

"I love you so much," she murmured, blowing him a playful kiss. Advik caught it dramatically, placing a hand over his heart as he pretended to faint.

The small compartment of the giant wheel filled with the sound of Yashvi's laughter, bright and unrestrained, her eyes squeezed shut in delight. Advik's own face softened as he watched her, the warmth of her laughter spreading through him. To him, her laughter was like music, a tune that he never grew tired of hearing. He knew, with every beat of his heart, that he was irrevocably in love with her—and that even sixty years from now, nothing would change.

-----

Advik was deep in conversation with Alok, his phone pressed between his shoulder and ear, when he noticed the bangle vendor asking for Yashvi's hand to help her try on a set. Without missing a beat, he reached over, tapped her hand, and slipped the bangles on for her, all while continuing his call. She looked at him, unsurprised—if she was close, his attention always seemed to shift toward her, no matter how busy he was.

Admiring the glint of the golden bangles, Yashvi clinked them together, showing him with a grin. "Meri khoobsurat biwi," he murmured, hanging up and taking a few pictures of her. She pulled him closer for a few couple shots, and the aesthetic snaps made her smile.

"Which ones do you want?" he asked, reaching for his wallet. Yashvi's eyes lit up as she picked out an array: glass bangles in each color, three glittery shades, and two heavier sets. Advik just chuckled, shaking his head in playful disbelief, and paid the vendor before taking the shopping bag from her.

As they continued strolling, Yashvi paused at a stall displaying earrings, picking out several pairs with a satisfied smile. Her steps finally halted in front of a fortune-telling game. The setup was simple: you threw a dart, and wherever it landed revealed a number that corresponded to a fortune.

Yashvi eagerly took a dart, her excitement palpable, while Advik stopped just behind her, catching his breath. She aimed and threw, her face lighting up when it landed on number 16—Advik's birth date. She clapped with delight, grabbing the slip marked with the number and unfolding it with anticipation.

"'Someone will join the couple soon in the journey of life,'" she read aloud. The words lingered in the air as she blinked in surprise. Then, with a nonchalant shrug, she handed the vendor his payment, brushing off the fortune with a soft laugh as she moved away.

Advik's smile softened, his gaze fixed on her, curiosity deepening into surprise.

"Who do you think will join us?" he asked, half-teasing, but his eyes were intent as they held hers.

"A baby, maybe." She replied with a light smile, her tone playful but her expression earnest, revealing just how serious she was about it.

"Huh..." Advik murmured, his surprise clear as he searched her face.

She stepped closer, lowering her voice to a tender whisper, "Let's plan it soon."

And with that, she turned and walked ahead, leaving him standing for a moment, still processing her words. Then, with a grin breaking across his face, he hurried to catch up, his heart pounding with a mix of excitement and anticipation.

As they walked side by side through the vibrant fairgrounds, a sense of warmth and joy enveloped them. Advik's mind kept circling back to her words, and he felt a surge of excitement he hadn't anticipated. He reached out, intertwining his fingers with hers, drawing her attention.

"Are you serious about this?" he asked softly, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

She glanced up at him, her face lit by the soft glow of the fair lights, and gave a gentle nod. "I think I'm ready, Advik. I know it took time...but I feel like we're at the right place now."

He squeezed her hand, unable to contain his smile. "You don't know how long I've waited to hear that." His voice was warm, but it held a tinge of the heartache they'd both endured since the miscarriage. The silent struggle had lingered for a while, but in this moment, it felt as if they were finally moving forward.

They wandered through the fair, quieter than before, each lost in their own thoughts, but feeling closer than ever. The evening air was filled with laughter and the scent of sweet treats, but it felt as if they were in their own world, caught up in this new shared dream.

As they passed the jalebi and rabdi stall Yashvi had pointed out earlier, Advik stopped, his eyes twinkling. "I promised you jalebi and rabdi, remember?"

Yashvi chuckled, nodding eagerly.

He quickly placed an order, watching as the vendor poured batter into hot oil, forming golden, crispy spirals. A moment later, he handed her a plate of fresh jalebis topped with creamy, chilled rabdi. Yashvi took a bite, her eyes widening as the sweetness melted in her mouth.

"Isn't it amazing?" Advik asked, grinning as she handed him a piece.

"It's perfect." She looked at him with so much warmth that he couldn't help but reach out, wiping a bit of rabdi from the corner of her lips. She blushed, looking down for a moment before catching his gaze again, her eyes reflecting everything she couldn't put into words.

After finishing the treats, they walked back to the others, but their thoughts were somewhere far ahead—imagining a little hand nestled between theirs, a child's laughter joining their own, and a new chapter filled with the love they'd nurtured together.

The turtles Advik won for his wife

Another one which will be their kid's favourite

This was how Yuvaan was planned:)

The main reason behind focus on Sameer and Adya was that I had already introduced Esha, now it was Adya's turn. Soon it will be Darsh and Advait too.

Thankyou<3
