Bonus 3.(Part 1)
"Tired?" Yashvi softly asked, keeping her i-pad away as she felt her husband's warm breath on her navel.
"Hmm." Advik hummed, snuggling closer to her stomach as he snaked his arms around her waist. She chuckled, pulling and caressing his silky hair.
"What are you reading?" He asked, sneaking a look at her as he blew over her stomach.
"What are you doing?" She asked giggling running her thumb over his nape. He chortled, rubbing his beard lightly against her stomach.
"I thought you were tired." She mocked, pushing him away from stomach. He sighed and sat straight.
"Tired and frustrated. Precisely sexually frustrated." He said, irritation in his voice as he quickly opened his watch and shirt, tossing it aside. Getting rid of the vest, he rubbed his face with his palms. Yashvi chuckled, pouring out a glass of water and holding it out for him.
"Thanks. Only you can satisfy my thirst." He remarked, taking the glass of water while she shook her head in disbelief at the double meaning behind his sentence. Nearly an year to their marriage and she had realized that her husband was shameless as soon as she enters his vicinity.
"Hungry?" She asked, standing up. He looked at her from top to bottom. Her cheeks turned red at the subtlety with which he checked her out. She was dressed in a simple pale yellow saree with a contrasting sleeveless blouse.
"For food or you?" He asked, pulling at her hand as she landed straight on his lap.
Yashvi chuckled a little, turning her face towards his mouth and taking his lips in a kiss, her hand tracing his bare chest as he quickly started responding, his hand cupping her bosoms over her blouse.
In another few minutes, they haphazardly got rid of their clothes, their hands sliding through the naked skins, lips fused together as she rubbed herself over him.
Pulling out a condom, Yashvi gave it to him who quickly rolled it over and was inside her, thrusting at a maddening pace. She moaned loudly, holding onto the headboard as she felt hotness all along her. She screamed loudly, her legs getting locked against his waist as he kept pounding inside her at a certain angle. Both got immersed in the sea of pleasure, the world fading away as their body fused in the most intimate connection.
A few minutes down, he slumped beside her burying his face between the valley of her bosoms. Pulling himself a little away, he caressed her cheeks. She lazily opened her eyes, giving him a smile. He dragged himself a little upwards, pecking over her forehead.
"I love you," He softly said, pulling her in his arms as she chuckled, snuggling closer to him.
They both had been extremely busy the past month, especially Yashvi. They had somehow taken time out for each other but the physical intimacy took a back seat.
"I love you too," She responded, grinning at him as she pecked over his heart. He chuckled, pecking over her forehead again. She was still red from their passionate encounter earlier.
"How about another round?" He asked, teasingly playing with her hair. She looked at him, chuckled with a red face slapping over his chest lightly. He looked at her with a lazy smile, pecking again at her forehead.
-----
Remembering the past year, a small smile appeared on Advik's lips as he looked at his wife sleeping beside him, over her stomach. He gently traced her spine with his fingers, causing her to shiver, and then glanced at the watch. It was nearly eleven at night. They had skipped dinner and were now resting after a long lovemaking session. It was their first wedding anniversary, marking a complete year of togetherness, and it made him smile. It had been the most beautiful period of his life. Not only had he fallen deeply in love with his wife, but he had also found a lifelong companion. He had never truly comprehended the depth of his love for her until now, and it was a beautiful and unique feeling that couldn't be contained in a four-letter word.
Leaning forward, he kissed her naked back before picking up his pants and heading towards the bathroom. He had made it clear to his siblings not to disturb them during the night. He wanted the day to be exclusively for him and his wife. He remembered how his mother had wanted to organize a grand party and had even called to discuss the details, but he had made her understand that the day was meant for him, his wife, and their immediate family. He didn't want to spend it thanking social elites; he wanted to spend quality time with his wife instead.
Quickly changing into a white hoodie, he glanced back at the bed where she was peacefully sleeping and made his way towards the door. Walking into the kitchen, he checked the time and smiled at the cake kept in the refrigerator. He swiftly picked up the chopped vegetables, preparing masala pasta, and adorned a large tray with flowers, cake, drinks, and the pasta. With a happy smile, he carried the tray back to their room.
-----
Yashvi glanced at the decorations and felt that something was missing. She rushed back into the room and grabbed the mini cake she had prepared from the mini refrigerator. Carrying it carefully, she made her way to the balcony. Even though baking wasn't her expertise, she had taken the time to make the orange cake with her own hands. It may not have been perfect, but it looked decent, adorned with small slices of oranges. Prior to this, she had decorated the balcony in evening taking half a day off from work. All she wanted to do was express her gratitude to God for giving her Advik. The man had made her crazy about him.
The balcony was beautifully decorated with fairy lights, a makeshift tent, and a huge banner. Yashvi had even moved some plants from their balcony to create more space. She had set up a table with the cake and flowers, arranged numerous pictures of them together, and placed a gift for Advik, which she had purchased during their previous month's trip. She had even changed into the short burgundy dress that he had bought for her. Yashvi smiled as she sat by the poolside, dipping her legs in the water, eagerly waiting for Advik, while memories of the past year flashed through her mind.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Advik entered the room expecting Yashvi to be asleep. To his surprise, he found the bed empty, and instead, there was a handmade card placed there. Setting the tray aside, he picked up the card and was pleasantly surprised.
The card was minimalistic yet beautiful, adorned with small hearts all around. The words "my world" were written and tied above with some flowers. Advik opened the card and found a few of their pictures, along with heartfelt love confessions. In the center of the card, there was a huge heart that, when folded, looked like a beating heart. It was so pretty that a smile spread across Advik's lips as he hugged the card close to his chest.
He quickly set the card aside and glanced at the clock, which showed that there were only five minutes left until midnight. Without wasting any time, he picked up the tray and headed towards the open balcony door. With a soft smile, he set the tray aside and sat beside her.
"I love you so much," she whispered, placing her hand on top of his as she looked at him through her lashes. He smiled widely, his right hand gently sliding around the back of her neck, tilting her head slightly as he leaned in to kiss her. She smiled, wrapping her arms around his neck and returning the kiss with tenderness.
Pulling back slightly, he cupped her cheeks in his hands and murmured a soft "I love you" before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead and pulling her into a tight hug.
"Happy Anniversary," they both wished together as the alarm chimed, and they burst out laughing.
"Happiest first anniversary, my love. There are many more to come," he whispered softly, peppering her forehead with kisses, causing her to giggle.
"Let's cut the cake," she said softly, tugging at his hand as she stood up. He was pleasantly surprised to see her dressed in the burgundy dress he had gifted her.
"Wow," she whispered, looking at the marble cake. She knew he loved marble cakes.
"Did you bake this?" Advik immediately asked, looking at the orange cake and then back at her. Yashvi was a great cook, but baking was not her strong suit. She had tried twice before, and both attempts had turned out disastrous, making her despise baking.
"I did. It's edible," she softly admitted, giving him an awkward smile.
"How long did it take you to make it?" he gently inquired, holding her hands. She wasn't a fan of orange cakes, but he loved them, so she had baked one for him.
"On my second try. It took me nearly three hours," she whispered shyly, averting her gaze as his loving gaze filled her with adoration.
"Goodness, I love you so, so, so much," he said in a husky voice, pulling her into a tight hug, causing her to smile as she reciprocated the embrace with equal enthusiasm.
"Let's cut the cake now," she whispered, pulling herself away from him. There were two cakes, a marble cake and an orange cake.
"Happy one year together," he said, cutting the cake along with her as they fed each other.
"Tomorrow, you are all mine," she immediately said as soon as they sat inside the makeshift tent, which was decorated with their photos and fairy lights, with a plate full of pasta.
"I am always yours," he cheekily replied, picking up a spoonful of pasta and feeding it to her. She smacked him on his chest before settling herself on his lap. He chuckled, pecking her neck and running his nose over it.
"I meant your time. It's all mine tomorrow," she said, kissing his cheek as he fed her another bite of pasta. She picked up the sparkling water, sipped it, and nodded in appreciation.
"I am all yours tomorrow. I just have to go to the office for half an hour. Come along with me, and from there, we will go to some other places," he softly said, looking at her face, which was glowing under the yellow light.
"You have planned it all?" she asked softly, glancing at him. He had been extremely busy these days but still made time to spend with her, whether it was in the morning or at night. He had never made her feel ignored due to his work since they had fought about it once.
Nearly six months ago, they had a huge fight. Advik was busy because Adarsh had to settle in Bengaluru for some months due to problems at the branch there, and an important deal had slipped through their hands. Advik was extremely busy for days, sometimes not even seeing her face for three days straight. He would only come home to sleep, wake up early, and leave. She tried to support him, and she did, but when her patience broke, they had a big fight. Advik had apologized, feeling guilty for realizing how much Yashvi missed him. He was like a diary to her, to whom she shared everything. Since then, he had made sure that whatever happened, he would not let it affect his personal life.
"Yup," he answered, extending the spoon towards her. She smiled, quickly opening her mouth and eating the pasta. Throughout the night, they talked about various topics, sharing kisses, snuggling, and gazing at the stars.

"Yashvi, Advik, come and do the aarti today," Yashodara said, glancing at her grandson who nodded, taking the plate of aarti. He looked at his wife, who also held a plate, and their eyes remained fixed on the almighty, expressing gratitude for the blessings showered upon them.
As they stepped back, Yashvi's end of the saree, which was draped on her forehead, fell down. Advik quickly caught it and gently wrapped it back over her forehead, eliciting smiles from everyone. It was a subconscious act on his part, as his attention was focused on something else. Yashvi smiled, stealing a fleeting glance at him before turning her gaze back to the deity, clasping her hands close to her heart in gratitude. It was true that she had faced hardships, but amidst the darkness, she found light in the form of her husband.
After the pooja, they sought blessings from their elders, embraced their siblings, and informed them about their plans. The family had organized a small get-together in the evening, exclusively for their close relatives.
"I'll choose your clothes, and you can choose mine. Let's keep it casual and comfortable," Advik suggested. Before Yashvi could respond, he walked into the closet, pulling out a blue floral print crop blouse with short sleeves, black skinny jeans, delicate jewelry to complement the outfit, and her watch.
Yashvi looked at him in astonishment. It seemed as if he had already planned everything.
"What are you staring at? Pick out my clothes, and then we can head to the office. It will only take half an hour, and then..." he mischievously trailed off, playfully running his fingers over her bare waist. She gently pushed him away, trying to conceal her smile as she moved towards his side of the wardrobe. She selected his black pants, a casual blue shirt, his watch, and white shoes.
Advik grinned mischievously, snatching his clothes and stepping out of the closet. He swiftly changed into the outfit, styled his hair, and gave himself a thumbs up in the mirror. Yashvi had always been the one who enjoyed dressing up, but whenever he was around her, he surprised himself too. Since their marriage, his style had unconsciously shifted towards what Yashvi liked, such as rolling up the sleeves of his shirt and maintaining a slightly messy hairstyle. He glanced at the bracelet Yashvi had given him on their honeymoon. He had always admired masculine bracelets, and it had been on his wrist ever since she gifted it to him. He never took it off.
Advik couldn't help but feel grateful for the changes that love and marriage had brought into his life. It wasn't just Yashvi changing him; it was a mutual transformation where they both became better versions of themselves for each other.
Love had made him appreciate the importance of family even more. He now made sure to spend quality time with his loved ones, taking his siblings out for ice cream, playing the guitar, and enjoying long drives by the sea. He also took pride in doing tasks himself that he used to rely on his mother for, like preparing tea for his wife and taking care of his basic needs.
Of course, there were still things that he relied on Yashvi for, just as she relied on him for certain tasks. It was a beautiful balance they had created, supporting and caring for each other in their own unique ways.
Lost in his thoughts, Advik was brought back to the present by Yashvi's voice. He looked at her, admiring the small stud earrings she wore. With a smile, he shook his head and replied, "Just thinking about how lucky I am to have you in my life," he replied, his voice filled with genuine affection. Yashvi blushed, feeling a warmth spread through her heart.
"I didn't even realize how one year passed, honestly. For a person like me, marriage and family were far-fetched dreams. In fact, they used to scare me so much. And then you came along, and it feels like I've always belonged here, with you," she softly said. She picked up her hairbrush, but he took it from her and started brushing her hair, listening to her intently.
"I was also scared. Every relationship turns boring after a certain period of time. But love is not just a feeling; it's a commitment to love every day, emotionally and physically. There were days when we were angry at each other and didn't talk for days. Honestly, it's difficult. It's not always about laughs, smiles, and fun. Aashi said something to me that was incredibly beautiful. Nowadays, people date for a few days, and when the spark is gone, they search for someone else. No, that's not how it works. If you want somebody to never give up on you and love you unconditionally, then you should do the same. It's not like in Bollywood movies or Korean dramas. That's not real. Love someone even when you don't want to, when they are not the easiest to deal with, when they are hard to love. And that's as real as it gets. I guess I finally found mine," he softly said, putting the hairbrush aside and taking a rubber band, sliding it onto his wrist. She smiled, blinking her eyes. Truly, the man had loved her even when she was hard to love. (Cr:Pinterest)
"Let's go," she said, whilst holding his hand and grabbing her white handbag. He nodded with a chuckle, picked up the keys and left the room.
