Bonus 2.
"Sir, now your schedule is clear for today and tomorrow." Aman said, looking at his i-pad and then at Advik, who was busy surfing through his phone.
"Make sure there is no disturbance tomorrow." Advik said, a smile etched on his face when his eyes fell on something.
"Stop the car." Advik immediately commanded, compelling the driver to stop the car as he came out, Aman following him behind.
"Sir, you can ask me." Aman said, looking at the crowded place and then at Advik. It was Yashvi's favorite chaat stall.
"Never mind. Can you go and purchase a few samosas from that shop and some rasmalai too?" Advik softly said, moving toward the stall and asked him to pack two plates of aloo tikki chaat. Quickly paying the man, Advik came out, only to find Aman waiting for him.
"Thank you." Advik said, smiling a little at Aman. Aman had been Advik's secretary for the past eleven years.
"It is my duty, sir." Aman softly said, taking the chaat from Advik and went toward their car.
"I need to pick up Yashvi too. You both are free from there." Advik said, taking out his phone and messaging Yashvi.
-----
Yashvi was extremely tired today. She had been working relentlessly on a new project, and her workload had increased as well as she was promoted to the head of the project. There were a few disadvantages that came along with working in a private company: a higher workload, pressure to perform, and the competitive nature of the people around.
She came outside along with Amrit and Rishika and looked around. Her husband was waiting by the car, a frown on his face as he was reading something on his phone.
"He is so freaking handsome. You won a lottery with that one," Rishika said, giving a teasing glance as she nudged Yashvi with her shoulder. Yashvi smiled with a slight blush covering her cheeks as she bid them goodbye and made her way toward her husband.
"Hug me." He was startled and looked ahead only to come across his wife. She looked tired and worn out, but she had a warm smile on her face. He smiled widely, keeping his phone in his pocket before wrapping her in his arms. She let herself loose in his embrace as she snuggled closer to him.
"Tired?" He softly asked, running his hand from her head to her back in a soothing way. She hummed in response, kissing over his chest.
"Lets sit inside." He mumbled, walking towards the passenger seat and opening the door for her.
She sat inside, strapping her seatbelt and yawned, leaning on her seat. Her eyes fell behind as the smell of chaat hit her nostrils.
"You purchased something?" She asked curiously, leaning against the car. He nodded, leaning towards the back seat and picked up a bag containing chaat.
"Aloo tikki chaat." He said. She smiled at that, quickly opening it and picked up the wooden spoon. Scooping some, she quickly ate it and moaned in delight. He smiled, igniting the engine as the car roared off.
"Here." She scooped a spoonful and forwarded it toward his lips. He nodded in refusal.
"Your taste buds will die at this rate. Poor taste buds." She taunted, pulling her spoon back. He held her wrist, guiding it back to his mouth as he tasted the chaat. She smiled at him, pulling her hand back as she quickly ate the chaat, offering him some in between.
"How was your meeting?" She asked, keeping the trash aside and looking at him.
"It was good. We secured the deal." He said, glancing at her with a small smile and then looking ahead.
"Congratulations." She wished, holding his biceps. He gave her a warm smile, parking the car and then turned toward her, taking her palms in his hands and kissing them lightly.
"Thank you, love." He softly whispered, staring at her in pure adoration. She blushed in response, taking her hands out of his hold and then took her purse, opening the car door.
-----
"Mumma." Yuvaan screamed, quickly standing up and running towards his mother who chuckled, keeping her bag aside and hugging him tightly, kissing his cheek.
"What is my baby doing?" She softly asked, looking around. Yuvaan was five years old now and was in primary school.
"Nothing." He spoke, snuggling into her as she left a series of kisses on his forehead.
"What is this?" Yashvi asked, picking up the notebook and was surprised to see the title, 'My Papa.'
"Tomorrow is Father's Day. I wrote it about him. Where is he?" Yuvaan asked, coming out of her arms and then reached for the jug, pouring water for his mother. Yashvi smiled a little at that. Yuvaan was a shy child yet extremely intelligent for his age. He was sometimes naughty but still had a very caring nature toward his family.
"Papa is coming." She said, taking the notebook from her son and started reading the essay. By the end of it, a beautiful smile came over her lips as tears filled her eyes. She quickly wiped them away, smiling widely at her son. She was happy with the life her son was living, from the love of his parents to the love of a large family, he had everything.
"Papa came with rasmalai and samosa." Advik cheerfully said as he entered. Rasmalai was a sweet Yuvaan loved with all his heart. He passed the packets to a helper, asking him to serve everyone as he went and sat beside his wife, taking his son in his arms and kissing all over his face. Yuvaan giggled loudly, throwing his legs in the air.
"Where is everyone?" Advik asked, glancing around.
"Dadi is with Choti Dadi in her room. Dadu, Chote Dadu, and Chote Chachu have still not arrived. Drishti Chachi is still not home." Yuvaan said with a pout, playing with his shirt button. Advik nodded, taking the notebook his wife excitedly passed him as he kept his son beside, who shyly glanced at him. His son was as bad at handling compliments as him.
"My father's name is Advik Mehrotra. He is very handsome and loves Mumma the most. He is my superhero. He fulfills all my wishes. He brings my favorite rasmalai, reminds Dadi of her medicines, helps Dadu, cooks food on Sundays, takes me on vacations. He always carries me in his strong arms and makes me sleep. He is very strong, but he has a few secrets too. I only know some of those secrets. He says he is not scared of anything, but he is. When Mumma had an accident, he said that he was scared to lose her. When I had a fever, he canceled his meeting and was with me all the time. He says he will rest on his holiday, but he is always ready to play. My Papa is very strong, but he is very soft too. Mumma says it's not always important to say 'I love you.' What's more important is that your actions define it. I never tell him that I love him, but Papa, I love you the most. You are my best Papa." Advik had started reading the essay aloud, in a playful mood, but by the end, his voice had turned somber as tears started filling his eyes. He coughed a little, trying to gain control over his emotions, and then glanced at his son, who was smiling shyly at him, playing with his fingers.
Yashvi had a serious accident when Yuvaan was three and a half years old. He remembered how he had cried, hugging Yuvaan tightly in his arms when the doctor said that it was tough to save her. He was scared to lose her, and he had told this to his son. He was surprised that Yuvaan remembered it. Fortunately, Yashvi was fine now and had completely recovered.
"I love you too, Yuvaan. You are a gift to us, a blessing after a dark tunnel." He softly said, caressing his hair and pecked his forehead. Yuvaan smiled, showing off his dimples, and hugged his father tightly.
Advik lifted Yuvaan up into his arms, thinking how life is a full circle. His relationship with Yuvaan was a reminder of how his relationship with his father was. Being the eldest son, Advik had to fulfill a lot of expectations. He was supposed to fulfill all the responsibilities. Though there was no pressure from his family, society was enough to pressurize him. The Mehrotra surname had its own cons in his life. From being perfect at studies, to sports and music, he had to excel in everything. In the race of life, somewhere he got distanced from his own father, and now, he had his son, sitting in his arms, telling him that he is the best father.
A few seconds later, Aakash came inside, looking tired. He smiled lightly at his father, stood up, and poured a glass of water for him before handing it to him. Aakash smiled at him and took a sip.
"Papa." Advik softly whispers, as he saw his wife walk away with his son toward the stairs.
"Hmm?" Aakash asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Nothing." Advik softly said, looking at him.
"It's a beautiful feeling, isn't it? Life is a full circle. There was a time you used to write essays about me, and now, your son is doing the same." Aakash said, indicating that he had listened to the essay his grandson had written.
"Yuvaan is growing up so fast. It feels like yesterday that Yashvi informed me about her pregnancy. Sometimes I feel like stopping time and capturing all the moments with them. I just wish I can be a good parent to him." Advik said, taking a plate of samosas and rasmalai.
"You already are a good parent to him. Trust me." Aakash said, patting his shoulder lightly. Advik smiled at that.
-----
"Yuvaan, we won't be getting any complaints, right? If we do, then tell us beforehand so that we can be prepared," Advik asked, glancing through the rearview mirror toward his son who was gazing outside. Yashvi playfully smacked Advik's arm, giving him a teasing glare. Their son was quite mischievous at times, especially when his competitive nature took over.
"Come on, Papa. I didn't do anything this time. I promise," Yuvaan said, pouting a little as he looked at his father. Advik contemplated whether to trust him or not.
"I really don't want to hear any complaints about you sticking chewing gum on desk or fighting with Adriti," Advik said with a sigh. Adriti Singhania was his classmate toward whom Yuvaan had an intense dislike, and he wouldn't miss a chance to get into a spat with her.
"She's so cute," Yashvi gushed, remembering the grey-eyed girl, and then she narrowed her eyes at her son who twisted his face in disagreement.
A few minutes later, Advik parked the car and walked out, opening the door for his son, who jumped out excitedly. Holding his parents' hands, he walked inside the school building.
-----
After the parents-teacher meeting, Yuvaan happily settled inside the car. There were no major complaints, and he had received good remarks on his report.
"Mumma, I'm hungry," Yuvaan whined as he watched his parents getting into the car.
"What would you like to eat?" Yashvi asked, looking at her son as she fastened her seatbelt.
"Ice cream!" Yuvaan exclaimed, flashing a cheeky smile. Advik chuckled, watching his wife shake her head in disbelief.
"Something that will actually fill up your stomach, Yuvaan," Advik suggested, trying to avoid the glare from his wife.
"What about that new restaurant that recently opened? I heard they have a special kids' menu. Let's go there," Yashvi proposed, looking at her son who clapped his hands with delight. He'd been there before with Esha and Aadish, as the restaurant belonged to the Mehrotra's hospitality sector.
"Okay. What's next?" Advik asked as he started the car, glancing at his son through the rearview mirror.
"Then we can go to the play zone or amusement park," Yuvaan suggested, clapping excitedly and planting a kiss on his mother's cheek.
"I'll have the Pikachu burger, and I'll ask them to pack one for Aadish too," Yuvaan excitedly added, looking out the window at the passing trees. Advik smiled as he held his wife's hand and gently kissed it. Yashvi smiled back at him before turning her gaze to her son. Life was good for them.

Happy Diwali everyone<3
I had seen how children are portrayed having bad manners and people calling it savage and cute. So, Yuvaan is not like that. He is a child, does naughty things, gets scolded, is childish and overall, he is a five year old kid though with a curious mind. He has resources and he uses it as well.
The bonus will be set in anytime in the future. It didn't have much Yashvi and Advik as I wanted it to be on Yuvaan and his parents. The next bonus will have them as lovers and husband-wife. This chapter had them as parents.
Thankyou
<3
