Hana's Pov

"Because you are just a friend"

I am sure those words must have hurt him a lot. We didn't talk anything after that. I was so thunderstruck at that moment not knowing what to speak. I could feel my emotions overflowing at that moment and I just spoke mindlessly.

I just can't tell him my problems. Now that he turned out to be more close to me, I don't want him to be troubled by knowing my problems. And seeing his tone, I am sure he might get involved in my life. I don't want that. I want to face this alone.

We just booked a cab back then and had a silent ride. I thought of speaking something then but I was at loss of words. He took the decorations with him as Yuna might land up any time in our house and it wouldn't be a surprise then. The sad part is we didn't even say bye to each other.

I didn't wish that bunny smile to disappear like that. He was so nice to me all these days. He made me happy and we both turned out to be closer than expected. But today is something I couldn't forget. The way he looked at me with a determination to protect me scared me so much.

I don't want him to get so much attached to me. I am just a pain in people's lives. I want to apologise to him. Kyunghee came to the house with takeout dinner and we had it. I didn't tell anything to Kyunghee yet.

I decided to apologise him tomorrow. Sleep didn't hit me as I kept thinking about it. Should I tell him? Or should I let us be like this? But he shares his everything to me. Everything about his family, friends and brothers, he told me almost everything about his life. Every time we hang out together, he has something to tell while I just listen and smile at his cute antics and anecdotes. Still unsure of what to do, I drifted to sleep.

"Don't tell me that the decoration is in her house?", Jimin eyed at the sisters and they nodded.

"We will not have time Hana and moreover how could we barge into her house?", Taehyung was still confused at the sisters' plan.

"Yuna will settle herself her around 7 or 8, you can barge in then. She will be with us the whole night, so it wouldn't be a problem. We have the spare keys.", Kyunghee stated.

"I already informed Jin about this. Kyunghee will be here trying to distract Yuna. And she will tell her that I am with Jungkook like usual. And we will do the decoration.", Hana explained the plan.

"If she would be spending the night in your house, how will we get her to her house?" , Jimin raised the question that made the sisters silent again.

"You guys deserve the worst planners award", Taehyung commented and they were embarrassed. They planned on how to decorate the house without her, but forgot about how to get her back to her house.

"I have an idea. Jungkook will tell her that Hana was hurt and that Yuna's house is nearby, she will be using the spare keys and get in. Then Kyunghee and Yuna will be rushing to check on Hana. And Kyunghee will disappear to the backyard immediately when Yuna enters the house.", Taehyung articulated his idea and Kyunghee clapped. Though Hana found it to be a bit excessive, she agreed as they didn't have another option.

It was around 7:30 when Yuna left the house and the friends barged in to her house. Fortunately no one saw them, or they would have thought them as a group of thieves trying to loot her house. Yoongi got tired at Jin's and Jungkook's over cautious acts. They tried to tiptoe and fell down on ground.

"I will start cooking then", Jin rushed to the kitchen along with Ara. To his dismay, they even pushed Namjoon into the kitchen scared at the fact that he might break something in the living room.

Soo Ah chuckled as they pushed him to kitchen and Jin frowned as his dreams to romance his girlfriend were all burnt.

The rest were immersed in the decorations. Since there was only one pump, the others had to use their mouths to blow the balloons. Jungkook inhaled the helium and started speaking like a kid. And the rest laughed. Taehyung had to inhale three times to get his voice like that. His voice was really hoarse.

Soo Ah decorated the walls and Yoongi slept on the couch available. Hoseok was being his noisy self and entertained the hard workers. Taehyung and Jimin played with the balloons while Hana faceplamed looking at their childishness.

"Jungkook", she called and he looked at her. He hadn't talked to her since yesterday and it was painful for her.

"I am sorry", she continued and he sighed.

"I am just your friend Hana, you don't need to apologise", he mouthed making her feel more guilty. A jolt of pain hit her as he let out those words.

"I am very sorry. I was really rude", she spoke with tears in her eyes. He had been a great friend to her recently and she didn't want to lose him.

"Hana, are you crying?", his expression turned to a concerned one. They were in a corner and none of them noticed them being busy in their work.

"I am sorry Jungkook, I was just out of mind but I didn't mean those words", she sobbed a little. And he hugged her from the side.

"Hana, it's okay. I just over reacted over it. Please don't cry", he wiped her tears and smiled at her.

"So, you are not angry at me anymore?", she asked with her puppy eyes and he smiled.

"Pabo, I am not angry at you. I just felt a bit bad, but not anymore okay?", he tapped her forehead and she scowled.

The dishes were done. And the cake came at the right time. Finally, Yoongi was awake and Jungkook played with him teasing and irritating him for a while.

"Jungkook, you must make a call. ", Taehyung reminded and Jungkook did his move. Now only thing that they are waiting for is for the birthday girl to step into her house. Jungkook was very excited for some reason.

As soon as the girls entered the house, Taehyung pulled Kyunghee from backside and closed her mouth in case if she makes any sound.

"Kyunghee", Yuna called her as she was disappeared.

"Kyunghee, don't play now. It's not the right time", Yuna called her but there was no response. It was dark and that made her scared.

"Kyunghee ah", she called and still no response.

She twisted the knob and opened the door. Her heart stopped beating for a second as it was unlocked. And then she realised, that Hana and Jungkook were already inside and took a deep breath.

It was all dark, she wondered why they didn't switch on the lights.

"Hana"

"Jungkook", she called only to get hit by silence in return.

As she stepped forward to reach the switch for the lights, something dropped hanging from the roof. As she saw what it was, she screamed like hell. It was a scull toy.

"Anyone, help me. There is a ghost in my house", she screamed to the top of her lungs and was about to run away, she heard footsteps.

"Happy Birthday To You", the friends started singing with the cake in their hands and the candles lighted up. It took a second for her to process what was happening and for her heartbeat to become normal. It beat faster than a horse the previous minute.

"It was a very bad surprise, a very bad one", she spoke with tears in her eyes. Hana knew Yuna isn't used to such surprises and a part of her feared if she would like it or not. And her tears says it all.

Kyunghee switched on the lights and Yuna wiped her tears to look at her house completely decorated with lights and balloons. She was awed by their preparations.

"This looks so beautiful", she was on cloud nine and everyone were happy at her reactions. As far as they know, Yuna is not the one who compliments easily.

She blew the candles and everyone sang the birthday song again

"Thank you all so much", she covered her face to not show her tears. Everyone were smiling ear to ear seeing her happy.

"Shall we cut the cake now?" Soo Ah handed her knife and she cut the cake. After that, she declared that she won't feed to anyone as she can't decide who she will be feeding first. They all laughed at her stupid excuse and cut the cake into pieces and served for everyone.

"Well this is the special dish by chef Jin", Jin brought his iconic dish and placed it on the table and everyone landed on floor. They are all hungry after the work they have done. And Jin's cooking is too much delicious to control.

"You cooked so well Jin, Ara is so lucky to have you", Yuna winked at Ara and she blushed.

"Namjoon and Ara helped too", he spoke and everyone else giggled as they knew what their roles were.

They all joked at each other and Ara told them the tale of the kitchen, how she was controlling Jin from almost hitting Namjoon who diced onions instead of slicing them. Jin grinned sheepishly while Namjoon was embarrassed.

"So, I have a surprise now", Yoongi got up and declared. Everyone were astonished at his sudden announcement.

Yoongi brought his guitar which no one noticed till now.

"I don't know if this will come out good. I am more used to piano, but I can't carry that. So..", he scratched his neck.

"I know you will rock the guitar hyung", Jungkook cheered for his hyung and everyone else cooed for Yoongi.

He started playing soft music and everyone were lost in his music notes. The music was as calm as the evening breeze. They were moving their heads in sync to the music.

And he got up completing the piece.

"That was soo good Oppa", Ara squealed and Jin smiled.

"Yah! You acted as if you are not interested in this stuff, but you gave the biggest surprise here", Hoseok slapped Yoongi's arm lightly and he smirked.

"I am full of surprises though", he felt proud of himself.

"Let's play a game now", Taehyung pulled out the wine bottle.

"Truth or Dare?" Jimin understood it immediately and took the bottle from him to place it in the center. Soon everyone took their positions in a circle. Yoongi was about to say something but Hoseok dragged him down.

The bottle was spun and it landed on Jimin.

"Truth", he chose

"So tell, who planned the toy skull part when I entered the house?", Yuna asked and everyone turned to Jungkook who almost spilled the drink he was having.

"Jungkook", he replied without giving a second. Jungkook took a gulp out of fear. He knew it was his plan of scaring the shit out of her but never thought she would raise it again.

"Let this game complete, we will have a talk", she stated and Jungkook was hella scared now.

And they spun the bottle again, it was Yoongi this time. Yoongi glared at Hoseok cursing him under his breath.

"Truth"

"Tell us a secret that no one over here knows", Jungkook gave the dare and smiled at his intelligent question.

"Well umm, I actually wore Jungkook's underwear one day and he doesn't know. That day he asked me too, but I was so embarrassed to say that I wore it on", he was flustered while Jungkook became Jungshook. While every one else burst into fits of laughter.

"Hyung, you stole my underwear.", Jungkook looked at him in disbelief.

"Yoongi, I never thought you would do that", Jin was trying to control his laughter.

The bottle was spun again, it landed on Jin

"Hyung, take a dare. Don't make it boring", Jungkook pleaded and the elder brother agreed for me.

"So, you will have to stay still for a minute without moving", Soo Ah gave the dare.

"That was a really easy one", Namjoon and Yoongi complained while she smirked having a different plan. Thirty seconds passed and Jin remained still. And then Soo Ah winked at Ara.

Ara started leaning closer to Jin making him perplexed while he still tried to be composed and not lose the dare. And slowly she traced her fingers over his face and a sweat drop dripped down his face. There were only 12 seconds left and Jin is controlling himself from the tension between him and his girlfriend.

And as she leaned more close, Jin lost it. He moved back.

"What were you doing Ara?", he asked his girlfriend in disbelief while Soo Ah and Ara laughed loud.

"You became very naughty noona", Ara blushed at Jungkook's comment.

"Where did that shy Ara go away?", Yoongi asked eyeing her.

"Ask your brother where he took her as he made her like this now", she winked at Jin who blushed red now.

The bottle was spun again and it was Jungkook this time.

"Dare", he chose

"You must kiss someone on lips in this room now", Yuna shot it within fraction of a second while he frowned at her. He thought for a while and didn't have an option.

"I am sorry I have to do this", he apologised and kissed on Jimin's lips.

"Yah Jeon Jungkook, you are such a prick", Jimin rubbed his lips and was mad at him for doing that while the whole room burst in laughter. And Jungkook was flustered.

And this time, the bottle pointed towards Hana

"Truth", she chose.

"I have something to ask you", Jungkook started.

"I know you told me to wait, but I can't control the urge to know. I want to know your past Hana. I want to know what makes you so vulnerable at times. I want to know why you never share your sorrows while everyone her does", he mouthed and all the time Kyunghee and Yuna were shaking their heads gesturing him to shut up.

"I don't want to talk about it", she stated calmly.

"You chose truth", he reminded her.

"I am not playing this game then", she got up to go but he held her hand. The friends could feel that the situation is becoming more serious now.

"We are friends Hana, we must share our sorrows too", he stated but she pulled out of his hold and went from there. Even before they could know what was happening, she stepped out of the house.

"Why is she so stubborn?", Jungkook got up from the game and went to the kitchen to drink some water.

"That brat spoiled the whole thing", Yoongi muttered.

"Is he out of mind now? Why should he bring that up in front of all and in a situation like this", Yuna groaned.

They called her but she didn't lift the phone.

"It's damn 2 AM and she went out alone", Jin was concerned about her.

"We will search for her", Taehyung got up.

"Why is she not lifting my calls?", Jungkook came out from the kitchen.

"Do you expect her to lift your calls after what you have done?", Jimin snarled and Jungkook got more anxious. He just made a stupid move to know the truth and he realised it right away.

"We will go in groups and search for her", Yoongi announced and they soon formed into 5 groups. Jin and Ara; Taehyung, Jimin and Kyunghee; Yoongi and Hoseok; Yuna and Jungkook; Namjoon and Soo Ah.

They searched through the streets of Seoul and found her nowhere. They kept on searching for half an hour and kept calling her. None of the calls were responded.

"Why did you be a jerk at that time?", Yuna scoffed at Jungkook.

"I know I was out of mind back then. I just wanted to know her", he defended himself.

"Hana is not like any other girl. It isn't the right way to ask her. And I am sure, give her some time. She will tell it you herself", Yuna mouthed.

"So, you are cheering for me", he eyed at her perplexed.

"I speak something good once in a while, don't spoil my mood now. We have to search for her", she spoke and paced ahead.

"Yah! I am searching for her too", he walked faster to match her pace.

They searched most of the nearby placed and didn't find a trace of her. Sighing in defeat, everyone landed in Yuna's house again after a search of one and half hour.

Yuna threw a pillow on Jungkook's face in anger while he was guilty. They tried calling her and there was no response till now. And then, it hit Jungkook

"I know where Hana is"
