Hermione woke up and found herself alone in her room. She looked over to her nightstand and found a note.

Hermione

Good morning. I brought you food, eat up! Get ready! Then meet me in Hogsmeade in the three broomsticks. I have a surprise!

Hermione smile to herself and did as note instructed. She tried to do it all as fast as possible.

"Draco why are we doing this again?" Pansy asked as she got out of the Slytherin common room. She smiled at Ginny and Luna who smiled back and leaned on her boyfriend.

"Because Granger needs a boost." Draco simply explained and guided everyone out the castle where Harry and Ron waited patiently.

"HARRY!" Ginny ran to his arms smashing her lips onto his.

"I miss you too Gin." Harry grinning at his girlfriend as he hugged her tightly.

"Oi! What am I? The dog?" Ron complained as he tried hugging his little sister. "Malfoy this better be good."

Draco smirked, "why of course it's good. Now shut your trap and I'll explain whilst we all go to the three broomsticks."

Hermione put on her scarf and boots as it was chilly outside and she made her was to meet Draco.

Once she got inside, Hermione smiled brightly at her friends. Slytherins, Gryffindors, and the unique Ravenclaw being civil with each other.

Harry and Ginny sat next to each other with Harry's arm around Ginny's shoulder. Blaise sat close to Pansy snuggled up together. Ron sat next to Harry looking uncomfortable. Theo sat to the right of Pansy and left close to Luna who was sitting next to Ginny. Those two were chatting away in their own little world. Draco sat next to an open spot next to Blaise and grinned at her. The only open sit was next to sit was between those two Slytherins but she didn't mind one bit.

"Hey Mione, how have you been? Why did Malfoy invite us here?" Harry asked shooting a glare at Draco.

"I told you Potter-"

"I want her to answer Malfoy." Harry rolled his eyes.

"I've been fine Harry don't worry. Draco asked at of you guys here to surprise me I guess." She turned to Draco and smiled, "thank you by the way."

"No problem Granger." Draco squeezed her hand under the table.

"So Ron, where's Ember?" Hermione asked playing with Draco's fingers unconsciously.

"Erm Ember is joining us in a bit. She had to clear up some things." Ron smiled sheepishly.

"What would you all like today?" The waitress said batting her eyelashes at Draco.

"Hermione?" He turned to her waiting for an answer.

"I don't really want anything Draco, I'll wait for you guys to finish though." Hermione answered him.

"If you're not going to order anything then leave. What would the gentleman like?" She smiled and winked at Draco.

"To leave with her so please excuse us."

"We'll leave too." Harry stated but Ginny brought him back down to her.

"Harry I really want butterbeer please. Please stay too Ron, I've missed you guys." Ginny smiled innocently wanting to give her friend some alone time with Draco.

"But Gin-"

"Please Ron." Ginny a pleaded and Ron obliged.

"We'll meet up with you near the shrieking shack." Draco informed them walking out with Hermione.

"Why did to do that Draco? She's beautiful, she has long blonde hair, she's tall, she's skinny, and she's probably a pureblood. Why did you not flirt back?" Hermione bit her lip nervously and looked down to her feet as she walked.

"Because well she's not intelligent. She's like our age working instead of finishing her education. She's not that pretty, I've seen prettier." He looked at Hermione and smiled down at her.

"W-who?" Hermione asked innocently.

"Well there's this girl. I've never really noticed her but yet I have beautiful she's really wow. She's intelligent and strong. She's beautiful but she doesn't really know how beautiful she is. What can I do to show her how beautiful she is?"

"Maybe you should umm kiss her when you two are all alone. But not like in a place where there are people you don't know walking around. Take her to a place alone and kiss her then tell her how beautiful she is." Hermione mumbled feeling a pang on her gut as she tried helping him.

"Maybe I will" Draco thought out loud. "Do you want to go look at books then to the place where we will all meet up?" He asked offering his arm.

"I would love that" Hermione smiled putting her hand on his.

The two walked to the bookstore and explored in and out of shelfs. "Draco look."

He went over to her and saw the book on her hands, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians? You like this?"

"Yes" Hermione responded getting red.

"Are you buying it?" Draco raised his eyebrow at her.

"Yes" she mumbled getting redder.

"Common we should go pay for this." He put his hand on her shoulder guiding her to the counter.

"Will this be all?" The woman asked.

"No I want the whole series, hardcover, and the following series also hardcover, plus any incoming books from this author please and charge it to the Malfoy tab." Draco ordered.

"What Draco-"

"No buts Granger. I have enough money for this." He winked at her convincing her of his actions.

"Thank you" she said hugging him quickly.

"Well aren't you cute, I remember when I was younger and had a lad like him. He's a keeper." The woman said smiling at them.

"Actually I'm a seeker and she's a catch." Draco joked and laughed at his own joke.

Hermione looked away blushing brightly. "We should go meet up with our friends Draco."

They walked out to the forest where they awaited for their friends.

"They're taking forever and I'm freezing" Hermione complained.

Draco walked over to her and wrapped her arms around his jacket. He looked at her eyes meaningfully.

"Oi! Don't kiss her Malfoy!" Harry yelled from the trees. "Why so tense Malfoy?" He teased.

"Funny Potter, I'm dying of laughter." Draco rolled his eyes.

"You only need someone telling you that you are an evil little cockroach Potter" Theo joked.

Everyone even Ron laughed at that comment. "Ron" Harry cried out.

"Sorry mate, he's a funny bloke. You have to admit it Harry." Ron kept on laughing.

"Why thank you Weasley, you're not a bad bloke yourself when it comes to jokes" Theo retuned the complement.

"Are you going to stop flirting with each other or should we leave you two alone?" Luna joked walking up next to Theo.

"I'm a bad influence on you Lovegood?" Theo winked at her.

"Oi! Everyone stop flirting" Harry complained.

"You'd think that the only one here who's not with their respective others would complain but at last, the boy who lived has complained." Ron said in a matter of factly tone.

"The only ones dating are you, Harry, Gin, Pans, and Blaise" Hermione informed.

"Really Mione? Really? That jacket around you says other wise. I don't see Theo or Luna complaining though." Ron rebutted.

"That's because I'm amazing, who wouldn't want to be my girlfriend."

"Theo get off your high horse" Luna said in her dreamy voice.

"Do you guys want to go back to Hogwarts and hang out in the heads common room?" Draco offered trying to not sound as uncomfortable as he was.

"Let's do that, I can show you guys my room!" She looked over at Harry and Ron with a big smile.

"Wow Granger, you don't have to ask me twice to get me to your room." Theo teased receiving a light slap from Luna on his arm. "Kidding kidding."

They began walking back when a girl with her face covered bumped into Hermione. She quickly said something and walked away.

"That was weird" Draco commented and everyone agreed.

They kept on walking but Hermione kept slowing down. "Hermione are you alright?" Draco asked very concerned. Her face looked paler than his.

"Yeah my head just hurts a bit don't wo-" before she could finish her sentence she fell to the floor like a wet spaghetti noodle.

"Hermione!" Harry and Ron cried out running towards to their friend.

"Stand back I know a spell that might help." Draco said quickly casting the spell but nothing happened. "We have to take her to the hospital wing" he informed everyone as he picked her up.

"I'll carry her Malfoy" Harry fought. "She's like my sister."

"Look Potter this is not the time for your stupid churlish behaviour." Draco said adjusting Hermione on Harry's arms. "Hurry, if something goes bad for taking your sweet arse time I'm going to make sure you go through what she is going through."

The group of friends hurried to the castle and entered the hospital bed. Madam Pomfrey asked them all to leave so she could help Hermione.

Pansy, Blaise, and Theo sat in silence outside. Luna stood until Theo seceded his seat for her. Harry, Ginny, and Ron paced nervously. Meanwhile Draco was in deep thought.

Hours and hours passed and Harry looked at his watch nervously, "Ron we have to head back." He quickly turned to Draco, "look Malfoy, I'm sorry. She's just my best friend and she's like my sister. I didn't mean to lash out. Please keep me informed." Draco nodded and Harry explained. "Gin, I love you but we have to head on back." He kissed her and left with Ron.

Draco kept looking at the door waiting for them to open and for Hermione to run out of there crushing all of her friends in a hug. He needed that to happen but it didn't. The large doors were closed and he couldn't hear anything going on in there.

"Mate, are you alright? It's not like you to keep quiet. I mean I've done at least five stupid things right now and you haven't said anything about them." Theo walked over to his friend as he said that.

"Yeah, I'm going to put these books away in my common room. You all go eat, I think I might take a nap." Draco picked up the books and went walking to his and Hermione's common room.

He placed the books neatly on the bookshelf. He walked into her room and sat in her bed. "Please be ok" he pleaded. He looked over at the nightstand that had a picture of her smiling. He couldn't take his eyes off from her smile. His stomach growled in hunger but he dismissed it. He didn't have an appetite.

Draco got up after a while and made his way to his room grabbing his jumper and a book before going to the hospital wing again.

He found the doors wide open and Hermione on a bed. She was probably sleeping or something but she looked like her skin color again.

"Oh Mr.Malfoy, you're back" Madam Pomfrey noted.

"How is she?" Draco asked with worry in his eyes.

"She's fine, she's just resting a bit." Madam Pomfrey answered with a small smile.

Draco sighed in relief and sat down on a chair next to Hermione. Madam Pomfrey left to her office leaving them two alone.

Draco touched her arm which was cold and instantly covered her with a blanket. He read one of the book he had bought her until she stirred awake.

"Draco?" She asked the blonde next to her reading.
Draco picked up his head from the book and nodded.
"I'm cold" she informed him.

"I just covered you with a blanket" Draco joked. "Here" he handed her his jumper that was on his lap.

Hermione smiled and put the jumper on without hesitation. "This isn't the jumper you gave me." She noted.

"How do you know?" Draco raised his eyebrow at her.

"Well... this one has a stronger sent of your cologne" Hermione explained getting red. "Where's everyone else? How long have I been out?"

"A few hours, everyone should be finishing their food or maybe patrolling." Draco responded looking at her bed.

"What did you eat?" Hermione asked putting her knees close to her chest as she sat up.

"I umm didn't eat" Draco but his lip as his stomach growled.

"Draco! You should've eaten something."

Madam Pomfrey came out of her office and saw Draco and Hermione talking. "Ms.Granger, would you like some food?"

"Yes please." Hermione answered. She looked over at Draco and patted a seat next to her. "You better eat with me."

"Whatever Granger" he rolled his eyes as he sat next to her.

They are their food laughing at each other for some reason. "Draco, who's the girl you fancy?"
