Ch. 26
The two days passed rather quickly for Hermione and she was released in the late afternoon. Draco had blind folded her when she was released and drove her to the mysterious place. He carried her in to their new house and to their room before taking her blindfold off. "Welcome to our new room."
Hermione looked around the black gold and white room in awe. She jumped on Draco making him fall to the bed as she kissed him passionately. She untied his tie biting down on his lip making him groan. "I would love to do this but you have to take it easy for three weeks." Draco reminded her.
"Screw it, I almost died. Plus you promised me that we were going to celebrate. Just take care of me." She whispered as she kissed down to his neck.
"Always will." Draco reunited their lips once again. "That is why we're going to stop here and go out to eat."
"I hate you."
"Aw are you horny Granger?" He wiggled his eyebrows playfully. "Don't worry love, I'll make it up to you afterwards. Now open your closet."
Hermione looked at him and opened the closet. Inside there were different dresses and outfits for her. Different lengths, colours, designs, and for every season. "Wow."
"Welcome home gift from Paolo, an Italian designer." Draco commented. "My graduation gift to you."
"I didn't get you anything." Hermione mumbled shyly.
"Yes you did, you stayed with me. That's more than I can ask for." Draco smiled at his fiancée and kissed her.
"Just wait and see, I'm going to get you something." Hermione stated.
Draco chuckled at her determination and handed her an outfit. A white blouse and a black skirt. "You're cute. Actually you're hot and even hotter than me."
Hermione smiled shyly blushing. "That must've bruised your ego."
Draco shook his head. "No. No it didn't. Get changed and meet me outside." Hermione did as told and found her way outside. "Hello beautiful, I love how you look." Draco greeted kissing her.
Hermione smiled and blushed. "Thank you handsome. Where are we going?"
"I'm taking you out to eat, and for a walk to a park near the restaurant. Now follow me to the car that my father gifted me whilst you were in the hospital. Yes Granger, I know how to drive." He guided her to a grey and green mustang and opened the door for her.
"You pamper me too much Draco. Thank you for all of this. Especially for choosing to spend the rest of your life with me." Hermione played with the ring on her hand looking down.
"I wouldn't have it any other way. I certainly do love being with you and I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with you." He grabbed her hand and glanced at her. "Forever"
"And always." Hermione finished.
Draco smiled and started driving towards the restaurant. Once they got there Hermione stared at the restaurant in awe. It was like a wooden cabin with glass windows and fairy lights decorating it. Draco lad her inside, "reservations for the Malfoys." Hermione smiled brightly at his words.
"Right this way sir." The man in the tuxedo said. He guided the couple out to the eating deck where a single table stood. "Red wine?"
"Yes, thank you." Draco spoke pulling Hermione's chair so she could seat.
"This is so lovely." Hermione admitted. She opened the menu and her eyes widened at the prices.
"Order whatever you want Hermione don't look at the prices. I'll have the beef wellington." Draco ordered.
"Umm I'll have the Garlic Shrimp Pasta." Hermione ordered shyly. The man nodded and left with their orders. "People are going to think I'm with you for the money."
"Screw them, I know that my money is not a factor in our relationship. No one can make me believe otherwise." He grabbed her hand across the table. "I love you Hermione Malfoy."
"Not yet soon but I certainly love you. I'm glad I woke up to be with you. Thank you for not leaving me."
Draco shook his head lightly. "Thank you for staying with me. I died inside when your monitor went flat."
"Your dinner is ready." The man said putting the plates in front of them.
"Thank you."Hermione said kindly.
"Thank you." Draco mumbled.
They ate in silence with occasional glances at each other. After dinner, Draco drove to the park and walked around with Hermione. He looked over at Hermione and smiled. "You're really beautiful."
"Thank you Draco." She blushed.
"About your parents, I'm sorry you had to go through all of what happened. Potter and I agreed on paying for the funeral so you don't have to stress about it." He got in front of her and stroke her cheek noticing her scar across her cheek. He looked up at her eyes and sighed.
"What's wrong Draco?" Hermione asked not knowing about her scar on her cheek.
"Nothing. Do you want to go home?" Draco dismissed brushing her hair with his hand.
"Sure but first." She leaned in closing the space between them and kissed him. Draco wrapped his arms around her and played with the tips of her hair. Hermione hummed in satisfaction bringing her arms around his neck. She broke the kiss gasping for air. "Now let's go home."
"We'll continue this later." He took her hand and walked to the car with her. When they arrived, Hermione went to take a shower first then Draco. She brushed her teeth and looked at herself in the mirror noticing her scars. She traced over them whilst her eyes got watery. She bit back her tears and grabbed one of Draco's shirts to sleep in.
Draco came out of the shower putting on some boxers on and walking out finding Hermione curled up in a ball. "What's wrong love?"
"Go to sleep." She buried her face into the pillow.
Draco turned her around and laid her on top of him. "Look at me." She shook her head. "Come on I love seeing you."
"I have cuts, I don't look beautiful. Why did you take me out when I look like this? How could you?" She sobbed.
He sat up holding her in his arms kissed the top of her head. "I love you no matter how you look Hermione. I took you out because you deserve happiness and no one questioned anything. If they did I would lash out on them because no matter what you're beautiful. My beautiful baby girl. Besides I'm not shallow. Anymore. Don't know if I've told you but you're the best thing that has happened to me."
Hermione looked up at him. "Do you mean that?"
"I do. Now let's wipe those tears away." He ran his thump to wipe her tears. "Let me just tell you I love you in my shirts. Your legs go on forever." He gave Hermione a small kiss as he ran his hand up and down her legs. Hermione giggled and put her arms around his neck bringing him to another kiss. Draco positioned her legs around him and brought her hips towards him.
"Might I remind you that you owe me something." Hermione smirked.
"You don't have to remind me twice." He laid her down on the bed and crawled on top of her. "You just enjoy yourself."

The next morning Hermione woke up with blankets wrapped around her body. She rubbed her eyes and turned around to find Draco still sound asleep. Hermione scooted closer to him kissing his cheek down to his lips to wake his up. "G'morning." He mumbled.
"Good morning." Hermione smiled. Draco grabbed his boxers putting them on and stood up. His back side was facing Hermione making the scratches from her noticeable. "Oh Merlin."
"What?" Draco questioned turning around.
"I'm sorry about scratching you." Hermione blushed crimson red.
Draco chuckled. "It doesn't matter lioness. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself last night. I didn't hurt you though, right?"
Hermione shook her head. "Never. I did enjoy everything, thank you. Now let's go to breakfast because I'm hungry."
"Not so fast." He picked up his shirt and her undergarments from the floor. "You need to get dressed baby girl."
Hermione blushed again. "Oh right." She got dressed quickly and followed him downstairs. Draco helped her make breakfast for both of them. He spun her around into a hug when she was done serving the foot an gave her a kiss on her forehead. "Draco?"
"Yes my love?" He asked in his husky voice.
"Do you want a tattoo on top of your dark mark?"
"Yeah. Why?"
"Well," Hermione bit her lip, "I can call Luna over. She knows how to do magical ones. I was also thinking on getting one. A small one on my back. I was thinking of a dragon because of your constellation." She buried her head on his chest feeling embarrassed of her idea.
"That's really cute baby girl."
That day Luna arrived at their manor and as Hermione suggested, she made a rose on top of Draco's mark. He'd given her so many roses she decided to give him one. After that she got a small dragon tattoo made on her back. The rose changed shades from pink to red depending on what Draco wanted. The dragon was outlined with stars that shone whenever Hermione wanted.
Hermione felt so happy when she got hers done that even at her parents funeral she put something to make part of the dragon visible.
