Mack's pov

"I just don't see why I have to," Colby shrugged as I shut my locker door

"Colby you need to take biology. If not you don't get your credit and you won't pass," I sighed

"But when am I ever going to use what I learn in that class?!"

"Colby suck it up"

He sighed

"Colby come on. We're almost done with school,"

"I know but still,"

As we continued to walk to the cafeteria I started to get a little lightheaded but I didn't worry about it. The cafeteria was extremely hot today it almost made me throw up. We stood in line talking but I was zoning out. I couldn't focus when I realized my feet were moving I zoned back in. I looked at the food choices and almost gaged. That's when a flood of dizziness hit me. I dropped my phone and grabbed ahold of Colby's shoulder. Wrapped an arm around my waist to keep me from falling. Everyone was looking at us.

"Are you okay?" He asked

I shook my head no

He slowly lowered me to the floor

He thought for a second, "how much water have you drinker today?"

"Not much," I replied pressing my palm to my forehead

"Mackenzie,"

I looked up at him.

"Today is so hot. You're gonna dehydrate yourself,"

"I'll be fine Colby," I shook him off grabbing my phone and standing up

The world was spinning a little bit because people were staring I didn't want to draw anymore attention to myself. We proceeded with lunch. I sat across form colby talking until we had to leave and go to gym which luckily we had together. My gym bag was thrown over my shoulder and my hand was intertwined with his. "Luckily" for us we had to run the mile today. We got to the place where we were running since the track was having work done to it. 
I started stretching out my legs .

"Did you drink something?" Colby asked coming up form behind me

"Huh? Oh yeah," I replied not knowing what he asked

"Good,"

"You ready?" I asked

He laughed "no,"

"Try to catch me," I shrugged

"No," he replied with a chuckle "I know you run. There is no way," Colby was cut off with the whistle

We all started running. As a pacer I kept myself a little farther ahead of everyone. I laughed as I saw colby struggling to keep up by my side.

"Come on Brock," I laughed picking up my speed a little

"Mack don't you even,"

I kept running teasing Colby with the change of speed. Soon it was our final lap. I decided to sprint the last bit. I took off making my feet go faster. They planted into the cement and came back up just as fast. The next thing I knew I wasn't outside anymore but in a.. hospital room?
