Mack's pov

I sat down in my seat waiting for the bell to ring so we could start second hour. I heard whispers around me and the boy sitting next to me staring at me.

"Can I help you?" I asked looking his way after writing the date on my notes paper

"Is it true?" He asked

"Is what true?"

"What happened last night,"

"Oh my god no it isn't true! You really think someone could like me enough for that?! I'm a complete loser and I don't understand how any of you could think that would happen to me!" I screamed

The entire class stopped whispering and it fell into a deep silence. I threw my feet up on the black table top and huffed continuing to start my preparation for notes. That entire class period I was a mess. I was so frustrated. Soon enough class ended so I got up and left. I couldn't stand being in there any longer. I went to my locker and threw my text book in there.

"Whoa someone's angry," Colby said walking up to me

"Don't try me please" I sighed looking to my left to look at him before going back to my locker

"Hey princess!" A voice boomed from behind me causing me to jump

"What do you want Damien?" I rolled my eyes

"I wanna know why you lost your virginity to this loser," he looked Colby up and down

"Damien quit it," I growled

"Uh oh the princess is mad," he teased

"Just leave he alone Damien,"

"I wasn't talking to you goth freak,"

Colby growled under his breath

"Come on. You could've done way better than him. I mean you're skinny and blonde and,"

I turned around  and grabbed the color of his shirt

"Damien I swear to god if I hear another word come out of your mouth about that rumor I will pour cement in your ears and boil your teeth while feeding them to the crows. It's a rumor okay? Mind your own business! I'm a stupid little girl who's a virgin and I'm still single! I didn't have sex with my best friend last night and I sure as hell didn't ask for your opinion!" I screamed so loud that even some teachers came out to see what was happening "stop treating women as objects and stop using them too! You're a sick psychopath who's a future has-been waiting to happen. Now you best be getting along before I invert your rib cage and strangle you with your veins!"

I let go of his shirt and he fell to his knees never seeing me this angry or more than a wimp. He hurriedly got up and walked away leaving everyone to look at me.

I looked back at Colby who was in shock. I looked back to the students staring at me in the hallway.

"Mind your own business!"

They all listened and looked away form me and everyone went back to walking

"Oh my god!" He jumped like a little kid "you stood up for yourself!"

"It was nothing," I shrugged Taking a sip of water from the bottle in my locker

"Those threats were amazing Mackie! He was so disturbed!"

"Good. He deserves it,"

"I can't believe you did that though!"

"Well I couldn't let him harass me like that. And I couldn't stand to listen to him insult you either. So I had to let him know that rumors aren't true and he should mind his own business,"

"Hey," he whispered coming closer to me "just so you know you're not a stupid little girl. You're extremely brave for standing up to him. He once punched a girl and gave her emergency surgery. And just so you know... I plan on asking you out just not here. That'd be awkward,"

I laughed a little, "yeah it would be,"

"I'll see you at lunch? He asked

"Yeah," I smiled before he gently kissed me. It was quick but luckily hardly anyone was in the hall

"Bye," he called before walking off to his next class
