Mack's pov

I stood in line with colby waiting for our coffee to be handed to us. I was off looking at the art work when I felt something slip into my hand. I looked down and saw Colby's hand gently holding onto mine. I smiled softly and grabbed my coffee from the barista. We didn't want to hang around so we went out and walked around.

"Hey Mackie," Colby asked seeming nervous

"Hm?" I hummed before taking a sip of my coffee

"Never mind," he looked down

"What is it Colbs?"

"It's... it's nothing Mack,"

"You sure?" I asked

"Uh yeah," he seemed kinda bummed but I didn't want to touch into it

We eventually got to school and parted our ways since we didn't have locker near each other. I was walking to biology when I was grabbed by the arm and pulled into the bathroom. When I saw who was pulling me I felt a little less anxious.

"So what happened? Tell me everything!" Taylor squealed

"I have no idea what you're talking about," I laughed

"The party?!"

"How'd you know I went to a party?" I asked confused in a whisper yell

"Uh the entire school knows,"

My eyes widened and I pulled her into the handicap stall. Just then the bell rang. Great. Now I'm tardy.

"The whole school knows what Taylor. I need to know,"

"Well you went to Gracie Lopez's party last night and you snuck away with Colby and did god knows what near the lake. And then you guys snuck back to your house and..."

"And what Taylor?!"

"Did.. you know..."

"Sex?!" I whisper screamed

"Yeah that,"

"Oh my god," I started freaking out about rumors

"How does the whole school know?"

"Whoa slow down cypher not even going to tell," I cut her off

"Okay we got out of the party and down to the pond in her backyard. We swam a but because I was feeling uneasy about people and he kissed me,"

Taylor squealed

"Okay it's not that big of a deal Tay,"

"Yes it is!"

"Okay now answer me. How does the school know?"

"Well someone posted pictures on the school website in the 'what did you do after school?" Section," she explained

"Oh my god. This cannot be happening!" I slid against the wall and fell the floor starting to cry

"Mack calm down it's not that big of a deal," she tried calming me down

"Oh it's not a big deal that everyone in the school thinks I lost my virginity yesterday with the emo kid! When I didn't! And now people are going to add to the rumor and make it worse and now my life is over,"

"Emo kid? You haven't called him that since the project you two did together. I thought you liked him?"

"I mean I do but,"

"But?"

"But we aren't even together. Yeah he kissed me once but it was the moment that we had. I don't think he likes me like that,"

"Mackenzie,"

"Just, Taylor go to class. I'll stay here,"

"You're skipping?"

"Well I'm not going to class like this," I gestured to my makeup stains

"Okay, well don't worry about it," she have a weak smile before going off to class

I stayed there in the stall crying a little bit I eventually gave up knowing that I'd have to face it eventually.
