" Seriously?", said the principal with a disappointed look on his face," So is this the new order of the day?".
     Tyler and Lara sat on two arm chairs opposite the principal. His office was painted blue and he had lots of books and magazine on the wooden rectangular table between them. A laptop was in front of him while he sat lazily on his moveable arm chair. Tyler and Lara weren't looking at him. They looked away and wandered into their numerous thoughts circulating through their minds. While Lara's thoughts couldn't be read by Tyler, the latter's thoughts were many and overwhelming. Why would Lara kiss him? What was she trying to show him? Why was this kissing thing even a big deal at all?
     He imagined what kind of conversation he would have with his brother when the principal would phone Jugsty, a thing that was bound to happen. Jugsty did be like:
     " You just couldn't control yourself huh Tyler?".
     He would however try to counter by saying that it wasn't intentional, that it was Lara who wanted it. But what if his brother say:
     " Yeah right. That girl's too creepy to blow off like that. I'm very sure it was in your heart, and you just couldn't control yourself".
     " Hey!", snapped the principal at them. Tyler jolted out from his thoughts while Lara didn't. He stole a look at her and then faced the principal who was staring at him only.
     " Sir?", Tyler managed to say.
     " So you weren't listening to what I was saying huh?", snapped the principal again," These children of nowadays. Even after the hundred years of the first mutation outbreak which humanity is still suffering up to know, you still persist in your wayward lives".
     " Sir just please let me explain", pleaded Tyler.
     " I'm not listening to you Tyler", concluded the principal. His phone suddenly vibrated from his pocket. He brought out his phone and answered the call.
     " Yes. Hello? Oh okay I'm coming", said the principal who suddenly stands up to take his leave.
     " Both of you must behave until I get back", instructed the principal as he takes his leave.
     Once out of the office, Tyler faced Lara and began his interrogation," Who are you and what do you want from me?".
     She looked at him and smiled." You know my name. I just need your help", replied a female child's voice inside his head.
     " Can't you speak?", asked Tyler," I'm not use to this".
     " You'll have to get use to it Tyler. Just do as I say", replied an old woman's voice.
     " Reply with your own please. Your other voice's creeps me out".
     " As you wish", repiled Lara's voice in his mind.
     " Why did you kiss me?", asked Tyler.
     " Didn't you like it?", replied Lara's voice as she smiled at him again. Her cheeks were turning red this time.
     " For it to be accompanied with horrible visions, no".
     " You liked it. You just don't want to talk".
     " Can you please answer my question?".
     " Those memories you saw are my memories. They aren't clear at all. That's why I need you to help me to discover my past".
     " Your past?".
     " Yes my past. We must leave this place immediately".
     " What?".
     " Yes, before...".
     The principal came back into his office and sat on his seat. Tyler and Lara had quickly relaxed on their seats and faced the principal, who watched the two of them suspiciously.
     " What were the both of you talking about?", he asked them.
     " Nothing sir", replied Tyler," We weren't talking".
     " You want to lie to me huh kid? You know what, just leave my office Tyler".
     " But sir I didn't do...".
     " I said leave!", roared the principal who wore an angry face at him.
     Tyler reluctantly began standing up, but Lara's voice hit him straight in the head," Sit down Tyler!".
     Tyler looked at Lara who also stared at him with a serious expression on her face.
     " Do I have to repeat myself Tyler?", asked the angry principal.
     " Sorry sir", replied Tyler who begins to stand up from his seat.
     " I said sit down Tyler!", replied Lara's voice again in his head. This time, he found himself being forced back to the seat by an invisible force. He looked sharply at Lara and found her having a more serious expression than before.
     " Tyler. You know that it's an offence to disobey your principal. Leave my office now", said the principal who was slowly losing his patience.
     Tyler looked at the both of them in confusion. Here was the principal, ordering him out of his office, and here was Lara, ordering him to stay. He didn't really know what to do until Lara's voice spoke in his head again.
     " Read his mind", was her new order.
     Tyler did what he was ordered to do and was shocked when he realised that he couldn't read his mind, a thing that had never happened before. What even shocked him the more was when the principal himself replied in Tyler's mind:
     " You have ten seconds to leave or die", threatened the strange principal in Tyler's mind.
     Tyler didn't hesitate any longer. Without even thinking of it, he fired lasers at the principal's chest which drove the latter through the wall and into the basketball court behind the office.
