Intro

My name is Bradley Daune Galecki, and I am a cambion. For those of you who may not know what that is.  I am half Demon, half normie, human. I didn't always know what I was. For most of my life, I chalked up all the weird things that happened to me as "Coincidences". It wasn't till I was sixteen that the Institute found me.

I had gotten in a fight with another girl, I don't even remember how it happened. I was angry, beyond it actually. I couldn't tell you now, what it was about. All I remember was her slapping me, and me slapping her right back. Then it happened like she had seen a ghost her skin pale as the blood seemed to vanish from it, the red handprint on her face glowing vibrant red against her ghostly skin. black webs veined under his skin.

I stood there, in fear... in shock watching as her body began to convulse in front of half the school. Screams echoed through my ears, a black tar-like ooze seeped from her mouth and nose before she dropped.  She didn't even have a chance, it took seconds for her die.  It's something you never forget, the first life you take.

It was against the divine ruling for a half-blood to take a mortals life, In fact, there were only a few pure divines who were allowed and they were chosen for a reason. Her unexplainable death was the reason the  Institute found me. It was rare for Half-bloods that took after their divine parent to live with their mortal one.  So when they found me they took me in. It was there I met my two best friends,  my brothers in arms.

Two Nephelim boys named Eliakim Gabel and Necho Jeremias.

Both boys had grown up together in the institute. Eliakim was born the son of the archangel Gabriel and a mortal woman. While Necho was born of the archangel Jeremiel and a mortal woman. For years the institute no matter what they tried simply couldn't pair either boy up with anyone else. It never ended well. That was until I came along.  It was unusually for Cambions and Nephilim to get along but somehow we just seemed to click. Necho always said it was a common dislike for Raguel's archaic values.

The past ten years, I had learned for the most part how to use my powers and had trained to be a  curatrix. A defender of the mortals from the divine. Being the only Cambion in our branch I had to train harder, faster and smarter than the rest of the recruits including the boys. For the most part, things went well. We succeeded in most missions and helped keep the balance between worlds. Even with my occasional suspensions for "bad" or "rebellious" behaviour.

It was while on one of those suspensions, After getting in a scuffle with the institute's self-proclaimed prince Dionysius Tatraseil. I found my worst nightmare. Okay... so maybe not my worst nightmare, but definitely the most aggravating. I found it in a lanky, googly-eyed, scruffy haired demon magnet clutz of a mortal named.

Ambrose Enoch

It took him no time at all for me to believe in the saying "annoyed at first sight".  Within 72hrs of saving his life, from an unknown beast. He made me regret it. He had turned both of our lives into a living, breathing hell. Literally. If I would have known that day I saved his life that he was a walking beacon for all things demonic. I probably would have just kept on walking.  If only.
