Back in Britain however, Rabastan was in a pit of confusion. Sure he understood she was busy but how busy was she to just owl him once a week? Hadn't that been her goal?

It didn't deter him from sending owls to the address she had give him, and from Clem he learned that she did go back to America but even she had hardly heard from her.

Which was the biggest lie, as she, Sirius and Regulus all received more than a letter a week.

But Rabastan hadn't been discouraged, he sent her a birthday gift—Which was collecting dust in Eli's study. He sent her the array of new textbooks for the year, having sent it directly to her address—As well as a fitted uniform this year around.

Little did he know she would be hardly needing any of this, as her schedule this year would be more of traveling to the Academy than being at Hogwarts.

Claudette was still at his manor, though they traveled back and forth from France. Rabastan made it a point that he wanted to explore the likes of the magical community this time around and his betrothed thought it was a wonderful idea.

But he had done it in the sense to tell Aria that he accomplished something this summer, that he went out and about. That he wanted to learn about other cultures—And he was pleasantly surprised with what he learned.

It was a slight difficulty to buy things for Aria when Claudette would push her own opinion, though the lie of 'it's for my mum' was easily said more than a few times.

However it was all for nothing as it was late August and the last time he had heard from her was June.

Bloody June.

He'd look over the final letter having no idea that back then it'd be the last, but then again even in it she sounded so overworked and stressed that he figured when Hogwarts come around she'd apologies profusely over losing track of it.

Little did he know...

When Aria returned from Hawaii, both Chrissy and Eli said that she had a beautiful tan. Something that's never rightly happened before but the sun was surely different off in Hawaii, and sweet Merlin did the warm weather do wonders on her attitude.

However, when heading into her father's study to go over a plan for Wyatt, she caught sight of a few boxes. "Ah, yes...That's from the Brit." She rose brows in utter disbelief.

"Gods, he's utterly insane." Aria groaned, but turned her attention back to Eli. Though he was already pointing at the boxes. "There's one that came near your birthday, the bigger ones came recently...And the others have French addresses on them." She rolled her eyes but found herself coming closer to the damn things, but a few looked familiar and she was right to assume that they were addresses for Diagon Alley shops.

"He...He bought my textbooks." She whispered, and it caused Aidan to wince as he knew he was interrupting.
"Sorry, I figured you want this...It was in my suitcase." Aria looked at the small bag and smiled as she took the moment away from Rabastan's mailings to take the small toiletry bag back.

"What's all that?"
"He went crazy with his vault number." Eli had made a comment about this generation having little morals or something of the sort while Aidan held up one of the many books.

And Aria caught his smirk.

"What?"
"You didn't tell him about attending the Academy?"
"Nope!" She smirked, but then frowned when she realized he had bought new textbooks.

"Does he even know you at all? You love the used textbooks."
"Yes, he was very big on pointing out my budgeting—Not that I wanted to use the allowance!" She shouted as Eli had come over now.

"You better this semester, if you're staying at the Academy's housing. You still need to eat." Aidan eyed her expectantly, awaiting for a reply along with Eli but she groaned even further as she opened the next package.

Ravenclaw robes.

"Did...Did you need new robes bubbles?" Eli said coming over after recognizing her signature Eagle. "I liked them baggy."
"Oh gods Ari, you didn't even get your uniform fitted, did you?" She pouted, how was it that Rabastan's gift outed her life off in Britain.

"Aria O'Hera—"
"Nope!" She said, clapping her hands over her ears. How was it that she was going to get repremendanted for saving money.

"I couldn't even pay for the vacation without her threatening not to go." She stomped her foot on the ground and reboxed everything.

"You need to save your money too Proctor, and I'm going to return the books. Wyatt needs his own textbooks and I'm sure we could swap them." Eli nodded at the idea before turning back to the next package, but Aria hadn't gone to go towards it.

She had been exhausted with the previous two and wanted nothing more than to discuss the details on Wyatt's presence or what they would be doing the days prior to September 1st.

Aidan excused himself, he didn't want to hear that she was set to leave soon. Right back to where they were prior, and it pained him immensely—Especially when he wished upon so many damn stars that Aria would be his soul mate.

But she wasn't, she was someone else's.

Yet he was prepared to fight fate and fight him for her.

Aria hadn't returned back to the Orphanage in a long time, she apperented with her brother and Eli. They were very patient with her and allowed her to wait at the front gate for a solid few minutes as she got her bearings together.

But she had to hold Michael's hand or else he was going to hurt himself with how curled his fists were.

With her new haircut, she wasn't able to take the long strains to check if her hair was ombre. But she was getting rather good at controlling the likes of her abilities—Though that was Aidan's help.

Merlin did she miss him.

"Bubbles, did you want to do the honors?"
"No. I don't trust myself." She shook her head, they were simply confounding the mistresses to take Wyatt out and away for the rest of the year. And by then they would figure out another plan that wouldn't let him return.

It was as eery as every, and just like she remembered there were obvious signs of water damage in the corner of the foyer, and her brother stepped over one of the many creeping panels on the floor beneath them.

Beneath them.

She refused to look out the back door, as she remembered clearly being dragged the hall and thrown down the cellar stairs in punishment...And the only way she was allowed back up is if she shaved her entire head.

And she did.

With the loud footsteps, it caused Mrs.Blanchard to step away from her office and look down at the railing.

"If you're here for an adoption, our hours are listed at the door."

Aria took her fingers and pinched the brink of the nose, how was it that the woman's voice had started to bring back the memories that she pushed to the back of her mind.

Michael didn't know what he assumed the no-maj looked like, but this was clearly not it. She was well put together, a sheer difference from what Aria had looked like when she came to the home.

Eli hadn't wasted another moment to confound the woman to return back to her office without any remembrance as to where their appearance.

Not that she would remember Aria until later.

"Do you recall which room he's staying in?" Aria nodded and said she would be back in a few moments and hurried up the steps. Ignoring her old room and going straight to where Wyatt would be, and of course he looked just as skinny as she remembered.

But there was such a brightness in his eyes as he tackled her with a hug. "Are you all set? Packed and all?"

"Yup!" He said pointing off to the chest in the corner, but she pointed off to the rest of his things.

"If it works out Wyatt, you won't be returning...Let's think about that." He was about to start packing his other clothes and such, considering he had gone with a Hogwarts Professor to buy the textbooks and supplies with another group of unknowing muggle-born students.

And that was probably for the better, as it opened up a better introduction as now he knew faces of those in his year.

"Where are we headed?"
"I've got a hotel with my brother and guardian, we're going to get some lunch in Diagon Alley and anything else you need extra we're going to pick up too. Let's go." She said, shrinking the trunk and placing it in her purse before taking his hand and leading him through the hallway and downstairs.

Eli and Michael offered a kind smile to the boy before hurrying out of the Orphanage before anyone else saw them.

"So are you two wizards too?" Wyatt cooed upwards, having to craine his neck to meet their eyes.

"Yes, but we steam from America."
"That's brilliant, what is it you do? Ari says she likes potions." Eli had felt like he was back in time when he picked up Aria, he hadn't thought that a Salem student would be found at an Orphanage. But that was such an understatement as there were students from Ilvermorny and Hogwarts who didn't have parents and unique family issues.

"I am the headmaster of an all witch school, that is how I found Aria."
"Whoa. A-and what do you do sir?" Aria held her giggle as they continued to walk to the secluded place they apperented in from.

"There is no need to be formal, I'm an Auror."
"A what?" Wyatt questioned in pure confusion, and Aria simply squeezed his hand.
"He's like a police officer—He works in law enforcement."

"That's wicked! Do you use your wand like a gun then? Is there really bad wizards?" And it turned into a word of caution on that end.

However Michael and Eli were very accommodating, though they really hadn't done all that much. It was Aria who took care of him, payed for his things and such.

"S-so you're not going to be there all that much?"
"I'll be there a few days a week, but probably not weekends. Trying to graduate this year, but I haven't told many people...Actually I don't think I told anyone except Aidan and the family." Wyatt had felt special in that regard, he really did love Aria when she was at the Orphanage.

But it's been years and she hardly looked like the girl he remembered.

"And this Lestrange?... What's going to happen with—"
"I'm going to make his life a living hell."
"Can I kick him?" She shook her head at his protective nature, but part of her knew that he wanted to be as helpful as she was being to him.

"You just focus on your studies, and there's plenty of school owls and Onyx will be around here and there."
"I want to save up for an owl, do you think I could do some jobs at Hogwarts?" She didn't want to discourage him, but it wasn't really realistic. What would he do?

"How about as a Christmas and Birthday present?"
"Really? Ari I don't know...You've already paid for so much for me, didn't Eli say—"
"Eli did say that he'd help, but I always feel strange using their allowance. And the only reason I have to this semester is that I'm not going to be working as much as I did this summer and I need money for food and such."

The hotel they had rented was the one Eli usually found himself using when coming to Britain, sure it was muggle but it was much bigger than anything else in the wizarding world would've provided.

And of course, Aria had made the effort in sleeping out on the couch with Wyatt, even if Michael said he'd take the couch.

Eli realized after their day in Diagon Ally that Wyatt was Aria's reminder of what life was like in the Orphanage, and how she left and never returned to help.

But what was she meant to do? She was sixteen and living in America or at Hogwarts for the better parts of the year.

That night however, Aria had stayed awake...She kept thinking about how life might've turned out if she wasn't a witch, if she wasn't a bastard or she wasn't seen as a squib.

What a different world it would've been.
