Christmas had been an odd affair, the new Lestrange couple mingled and they enjoyed a Christmas dinner over the senior's house as a token of their first family Christmas together.
The interconnection between the Blacks and Lestranges were starting to make them more powerful among the sacred twenty-eight. It was making others tremble and it felt unnatural to have that sort of power, or elder witches in her mother's generation basically kissing the ground she walked on.
Only a few people knew the truth about the incident at Dareth academy, or the internal struggle of which Aurora suffered throughout her blindness. Others weren't granted such pleasure in knowing, it was these little things that would spread into rumors.
And the current rumor on today's agenda was if Aurora was Barron.
She had to take a moment to recover after hearing the word, it made her sick and shoot daggers to the woman who uttered it.
The woman tried to apologize but it was too late. "I believe it took you three years or more to produce an heir, and unlike you, I have a career. So I suggest you zip it or you can leave the premises." She hissed, but Rabastan hadn't missed Aurora's heated temperament as she excused herself to the loo.
Her hands clipped the sides of the counter as she looked dead ahead to the woman in the mirror. She allowed this moment to breathe, to not let that woman's words hurt her any more than it had.
However it was far too late, it rightly ruined the night as she started to wonder how many times that had been uttered behind her back.
Especially by her own mother.
She was proud of herself sure, but right now her walls were being torn down.
Rabastan's light knock only had her jump in a polite phrase of 'occupied'. He knew it was her, causing a quick spell to open the likes of the barrier.
"And what could that old hag have said to my beautiful wife that made her come in here?" He whispered, offering a handkerchief up for her to take.
Merlin did she need it too.
She couldn't say it out loud, Circi no she couldn't do it. So she shook her head and hid herself away, only causing Rabastan to lock his arms around her tightly and whisper sweet nothings to instigate a response.
"She said I must be Barron." It was cold, dark and everything in between. Rabastan had no other words to counter the attack, he couldn't think of another horrible insult than that.
It was one thing in thinking that the eldest Lestrange had married a Barron wife, but Aurora was still young. How could anyone think ill already?
"Rory, we haven't tried yet for a child...Come now, it isn't worth giving them the satisfaction." She nodded, still wiping her eyes clear of the tears. Damn that woman, after a streak of good days and her brother present at home this had to add to her level of stress?
"I think there's a way to cheer you back up." She glanced up towards him in the mirror with curiosity, but there was something just oddly satisfying about seeing her husband diving into the crook of her neck with the intention of distraction and satisfaction.
"Raba...We can't...Not here."
"And why not? Certainly nobody is going to say a word if we're 'making heirs'." He was entirely correct, so she fished her wand out and secured the door with a spell and a soundproof wall.
Which prompted Rabastan to settle his wife up onto the counter, giving him the perfect angle to settle in between her legs. Gods was this perfect, and to make it all even more restless, either had sight of the mirrors to one another.
It was a game of watching the pleasure on one another faces or their own. And not one god damn care in the world about shagging in the bathroom of an event, Aurora's dress had a slit with easy access and Rabastan held back to what he would love to do, but instead pushed her further by uttering the phrase:
"Let go for me kitten, let go." It erupted such a euphoric response that she fell apart in his hold, causing them to stay a decent five minutes for Aurora to be able to properly return.
When returning to the party, Rory held a fresh sex glow, while it would take Rabastan's closest mate's to know what sort of victory smirk he had rallied on his face.
One he would have to apologize for when they returned home.
Regulus felt out of place at his sister's home, and didn't feel like intruding as much as she had offered. So he divided the time, especially when their mother shared that he shouldn't bother them. But she still came to the platform with Rabastan to watch him depart.
"Do you have all the notes?" He smiled and nodded, he was sure to ace the coming exams as he had politely annoyed his sisters about all the cramming he had to do when he returned, and she caved.
"Oh so Reg gets to borrow your notes but every time I asked—"
"We had class together, arsehole." Reg had continued to snicker just beside the two as he hugged both his siblings one last time.
Even Rabastan gave him a comforting one. "Keep up the good work Reg, almost done." It was encouraging sure, but the second either sibling had separate, it was as if a cold splash of water spread through them.
Like the stress returned and their company could no longer have them ignore the outside world.
Especially now that the holidays were out of the way, it was time for Aurora to plan a birthday party for her husband, so she had gone to her mother in law to help her plan such thing.
It was themed as well.
Something he would surely enjoy.
Aurora had never rightly planned a party, she barely had any say in her own wedding to be frank. Overall the party was not what he had expected.
It wasn't posh as the others, it was entirely enjoyable. Multiple tables of poker and any sort of card game was featured in their large ballroom. A long bar promenade in the room. Merlin had Aurora planned it perfectly.
Rabatsan enjoyed himself yes, but what he was prepared for was the night after all the guests would go home.
Aurora claimed she would be in the other room for a moment, so he finished his drink before one of the elves had passed him a note.

Bedroom. Now. Gift.
Is all that is said and he was amused as well as aroused. Walking with a bit of spunk in his step as he wanted his gift to wait just a bit, as well as pace himself on not rushing on his own surprise by arriving too early...However Aurora had planned this more than his actual party, ever since she had read it in a very deeply embedded erotic novel she adored, she had a bit of her own kink that would hopefully be thrown into tonight as well.
"Aurora?" He softly cooed, opening the door to their bedroom had she smiled to her husband. His favorite silk robe barely on her body screamed in plenaries, just upping his smirk entirely.
"And what surprise would you have for me this evening Rory?" She rose from her position from sitting on the bed as she made her way towards her husband.
But for the moment being he wouldn't be her her husband...
"Anything you want...Master..." She spoke so softly, inviting him to take the reigns. The one-piece bodysuit she was sporting was barely covered anything at all, the few lace patterns hid a fraction of her nipples and lower regions.
But it wasn't that that made caught him off guard.
Master?
Had he heard her correctly?
But after his wife had studied from her favorite series it was all too easy to keep it the same. "May I take off your coat...Sir?" She breathed, part of him wanted to laugh, but it was already making him harder the closer she had got to him.
Her long nails started at the center of his neck as she felt down before undressing him one layer. "I don't know where you came up with this idea of yours Aurora but—"
"Not to your liking master?... I wore this all night just for you." She whispered just behind him, leaning on her tippy toes to make sure he had gotten the message.
"How would you like to start this night?" Was how she tempted him, once again reminding him that he had choices and options. Seeing her so innocent and waiting for any sort of order felt...Impowering.
So he tapped his neck and she smiled as he started to play along. Leaning into his neck did she delicately start leaving his desired hickey in his place of interest.
"How long do you think you can keep up with this act?" She didn't take it as an order so she continued through with the last, causing him to he chuckle.
"Very well, I'll play along then...On your knees." He proclaimed and she closed her eyes as she sunk down to her knees and only then did she open her eyes.
Awaiting for his next order.
"Unbuckle." He continued, and she did just that as his protruding member fell right out without much effort. Her hands were on either side, encasing his hard cock right before her. But she looked up, wanting to hear the words.
"Open." She opened wide with her tongue strictly out...Something that she knew he specifically adored, and as soon as she did, he filled her entirely which she responded with a groan.
Whether it be finally gaining some momentum, or her very in-depth scenario...But he was going to enjoy it to the end.
When he finally decided he had enough of that part of her and so he pulled away, gripping her by the chin...A soft move that he would normally do with his wife to gain her attention, but the last action still left her desperate for a proper breath.
His thumb cleaned off the excess silva on the corner of her mouth that didn't end up on his cock.
"On the bed, all fours." She took the order and allowed her hips to sway the entire distance as she crawled onto the bed, planting her arse high into the air for him to take advantage of it.
He followed in pursuit of his starving wife, however in a change of pace he gripped her by the ankles and flipped her over in one move. "Had a better idea..." He stated, all while starting to unclip the inner workings of her bodysuit to separate it away from in between her thighs.
"Play with yourself love..." He spoke, causing her eyes to flare up in question. An instant reaction that he was proud of himself for thinking of, but she was too dedicated to the role to surrender now. Her hand found itself lowering to her folds, rubbing fluently before inserting a finger...This had been the first time she attempted this, but seeing her moaning to her own teasing and testing was a struggle for Rabastan to watch.
Bitting her lips and leaning her head further up into the bed was indeed a revelation, something that he could take advantage of later.
Later indeed.
"M-master?" She moaned, and he was confused at what she was playing at now. He simply wanted a moment to watch, so he scratched her thighs in a sort of punishment.
"May...May I cum master?... Please...Please I—" He choked on his breath as he stopped his own pleasure in the form of stroking his own member.
The fact that she was denying herself the release...And only doing so because she needed his approval...? It caused him to nod.
He leaned forward to have his member just so easily lose and touching her inner thigh, faking entrance.
"Cum for me darling...Now." With her releasing did he attack. Her neck violently, nipping at her favorite spot. Even going so far as whispering rather inappropriate comments that he would never think to bring to the table.
"Master, may...May I kiss you?" Even something as simple as kissing had led her to ask, and he silently agreed once again. Allowing her to lean up, making long and dramatic strives to carry it out as long as possible.
But he had surprised her by entering her without warning, just a quick thrust and she stopped any previous actions to get the entire experience for him.
Tonight wasn't about making love, that he realized at this moment as he took a stance back to his feet to get a better angle. He didn't need to ravish her, he couldn't manage that later or tomorrow.
For now it was about him and his pleasure, or his want in seeing her pleading for everything.
Abruptly he had exited her, but even the whimpering didn't bring him back to her.
"Hands and knees." She did just that, her suit still on for the most part but it started riding up higher on her stomach than anything else.
His hand had tickled the sensitive part of her body as she bent in reaction. He hadn't been that forceful before and he defiantly had a very proud aura surrounding him for that action. More so when he re-entered his wife with the same fluency that he had prior to the position change.
Both were panting at the end of the rowdy night, truthfully she hadn't planned for it to turn that long, but it had because Rabastan didn't just want her finished once or twice. He had forced at least five upon her, even when she begged to finish on one of the last, he withheld it just because she had done so without permission previously.
He could tell.

"Bloody hell Rory are you trying to dig me an early grave?" He huskily spoke into the air, and it caused her to giggle.
"I thought it was a lovely idea. I couldn't just give you the ring and nothing else." He had been twirling said ring around and around for the entire night in fact, but his smile never dwindled through her explanation.
"Shall I do the same for your birthday, I'll gladly get down on my knees to please you love." She shook her head.
"You enjoyed yourself, stop it." She teased, but in reality she had been thoroughly exhausted since yesterday, so when her eyes closed for even a moment he smiled.
"Rest love, I'm sure I tired you out." He kissed her more than a few times before properly giving her a breathless goodnight.
*
It had been two days after his birthday and she started to feel the repercussions of what she thought was stress. It started again with the nauseous, enough for her to eat little to nothing. Headaches that kept her sitting without being able to read or listen to the radio.
Rabastan was a mess of worry, but she settled it with taking a potion to calm the headaches or calms nausea.
It was the day before her going to Salem, it must be nerves.
It had to be nerves.
"Rory, they'd understand...You can still send an owl now before—"
"I can't, they're expecting me and changed around the curriculum for me. I'll suck it up for the rest of the week. I'll relax when I'm back." He rolled his eyes, but the two still continued off to Diagon alley as she wanted last-minute supplies.
That and she was picking up a new cloak as it was a little less posh than the rest of her style.
She didn't want to share the fact that they were starting to allow more half-bloods into the school but it was true, the statistics were gaining in favor, though they have yet to call any muggle-borns.
Or no-mag as the states call them.
Rabastan had wanted to check out his own interests while in town, so they decided to meet in a half an hour to eat out. She prepared for this and reminded herself to take the potion before setting foot into the restaurant, after the visit to America she would go to the doctor.
After. If it's still an issue.
"Aurora?" She turned over her shoulder for a moment and a smiled blossomed on her expression as Lyall had caught her attention.
"Thought it was you, how have you been?" Remus' father was always a kind man, humoring her with his farm that one Christmas that she was meant to stay at Hogwarts with. Merlin was she struggling to keep her composure but this...This mere conversation was dangerous.
But she prided herself at this moment, asking him to check in on Remus now that she couldn't. Lyall knew most if not all of what Rory and the three mates his son has made in Hogwarts had done for Remus.
And he couldn't be any more grateful.
Instead Aurora was discussing her travels to America and that prompted a conversation on creatures off in the states, because goddess it was Lyall's desire to see a Thunderbird as well.
But seeing her husband coming into the bookstore had her freeze. Rabastan had caught sight of her instantly and interjected into the conversation.
"Ah, there's the husband...It's nice to meet you Mr.Lestrange." What the bloody hell was Lyall doing?!
The two shook hands and Rabastan eyed down to his wife in confusion, knowing full well he was silently asking her who was he?
"Rabastan this is Mr. Lyall Lupin...I met him at one of the events I went with Otto...He works with Magical Creatures." The name instantly sent sirens into the Death Eaters head, but in an attempt to not make a scene he acted rightly so.
But knowing that this man's son was an active member of the Order was downright wrong.
How could his wife be so bloody naive?
They finished up the conversation, paid for her books and left without a single word between the couple. But the lack of eating out already threw her for what sort of trouble she would be in when arriving at home.
"What the bloody hell is the matter with you?!" He shouted, and she flinched already.
"What was I going to do Rabastan, ignore him? Run out of the store?" He huffed, so she wasn't naive. She knew exactly what she did was wrong.
"His son—"
"His son is an Order member alongside Sirius and the Potters and whomever else. Should I just dismiss everyone who is vocally against our cause?!" His points falling were invalid, and it flew her off the railing further.
"Not everyone is supportive of the Dark Lord Raba, should I ignore Otto because he hasn't chosen a side? Should I stop going to Dareth because of their lack of support?" He scoffed, had his wife not gotten the hit?!
"He's a blood traitor!"
"He's a pureblood!"
"Who married a muggle!" She groaned into the air.
"It's not like I'm talking to her or have any plans on talking to her!" That was a lie. "We were talking about creatures, it wasn't anything else that would put me in a dangerous or wrongful position." That was also a lie.
"You rightly talked, in public, with a blood traitor. What sort of image does that give to the cause—"
"That I'm not associated with it, that I'm a wife. Because the Dark Lord has made it clear that I'm not getting the mark!" She was right, but he was too cocky to rightly turn his argument around.
"But as my wife you have an obligation to—"
"As your wife?! An obligation?!" She laughed, she bloody laughed and began to back away.
"My obligation is to have your children and stand by your side at rallies. Everything else, Rabastan, is a choice." Her anger was filling through her blood and she was just a single inch away from his face now.
"You know what?... I think I'm going to America early." She spoke, and instantly kissed the air in front of Rabastan before heading the steps.
"No. You're not." He growled.
"Or what Rabastan? You're going to lock me in the house? I've already lived that life." She stomped the rest of the way up the steps and slammed the master bedroom door before settling her suitcase onto its wheels and pulled it through as she was going to head to the ministry.
"Aurora don't you bloody dare leave." She turned back over her shoulder.
"Yes dear husband? What do you need?" Her questions were setting him back further and further, she knew just the buttons to press.
"You can't leave angry." He was right, sure. But as he tapped his own eyes she realized her seer's eyes had been enacted through her anger. So as she took a deep breath and exhaled she felt a soothing calmness taking control of her body.
"Please stay Aurora...I'm sorry." She shook her head, she had held a proud state for the past few moments but now it was a silent disagreement.
"Sorry doesn't make what you said disappear, Lestrange." She turned back to the fireplace and found herself in the ministry from there on, walking with a purpose and without an escort.
Though her pass to America was set for the next day they rightly didn't have a problem as the man at the counter was the same from when she would go to Salem as a student.
It was a joyous conversation, but the past hour couldn't be redeemed by a simple chat. In reality it had been years since her last return, though everyone assumed it was during this summer.
Another lie to the list.
Seeing him that angry made her downright scared. If he thought her obligations should come before her sense of empathy and humility then who did he believe she was?
Should she ignore a person because they married a muggle? Should she ignore her own parents because Sirius is their son? Rabastan shouldn't be able to dictate that, nor should he throw the word obligation into the mix.
If he thought she was going to sit there and take that? He had another thing coming.
But now she was in America, and she smiled up to the same women stationed at the desk. The credentials were in her purse, granted she had a different outfit planned for arriving but here she was and it was good enough.
She asked in a recommendation on what a good hotel was to spend the night as she didn't want to bother Salem with her arrival too early. And the woman was entirely kind at naming a few places for her to visit on her first day.
When she found herself settled she owled Elizabeth, the woman was married and pregnant, it was an instant reconnection. Though Aurora wasn't going to ruin the reunion with her own marriage crisis...it was what was happening in her own home country that really would throw her in for a loop.
The Dark Lord ordered an attack and Rabastan was one of the first to volunteer, and like a dose of bloody karma, he came into contact with both Sirius and the Lupin son. As if luck couldn't be any more damning on his ego, but his anger and the mindset of protecting his family resulted in a placebo effect as he defended the honor of his wife.
"He's mine Rem...What's the matter brother, my sister rub your feet the wrong way? Or did she kick you out of bed?"
The taunts were throwing him off his game, but not entirely. While Sirius was a skillful dueler with Black blood running through his veins, Rabastan was a seasoned Death Eater with Aurora for a wife. But prior to that, she was his girlfriend, and if studying beside her prompted anything it became useful now.
He bested Sirius, but hadn't killed him.
It was he who hesitated, what would Aurora think if he was the one to kill her brother? She wasn't one for violence, Aurora told him countless times, but what was concerning was her talking to Lupin's father.
What else was she doing that acted as traitors as that?
"Not at all Black, she's keeping our bed nice and warm...Perhaps I'll even shag her before calling it a night...Would make it all the more memorable." It was downright wrong, he knew it...But it blew both if not all Order members off guard.
Aurora had been lacking in response in the textbook, even if she wasn't doing it on purpose. It was throwing the Order for a loop on what a possibility could be for.
"I should've crashed the wedding when I had the chance." Sirius rallied, they were left as they were being summoned back. But Rabastan stayed for a moment longer and chuckled.
"Should've, would make a perfect gift to my wife wouldn't you say? Her estranged brother's head on a silver platter." His laughter sung into the air as the black smoke inhaled him and he took off into the sky.
"I'm going to kill that fuckin' bastard if it's the last thing I—"
"SIRIUS!" Lily screamed, rushing to the lads side and healing them in a rush the best should could. They've definitely had worse, Remus more so than Sirius. But it could be worse, a lot worse.

So I've come to a decision that after this week I will only be posting twice a week.
Monday & Friday.
That way I still have a little time in between chapters to write AND keep up with my classes.
So I'll be posting Friday and Sunday this week before starting the new schedule.
