The low octave of the piano sounded out, drastically dark...But Aurora couldn't even begin to place the song or where it was coming from because she could only ever hear it in between the beats of her humping heart.

She was currently following a long line of Death Eaters and those about to be blessed with the Dark mark.

The arm she held onto was rigid and only but a shell of her Raba, his exterior screamed Death Eater and nothing like the fiancee that fed her strawberries just this afternoon in the garden.

Instead his firm grip and straightened posture already held demands as a Lestrange, and if she wanted to uphold the same standards as a wife she needed to appear fearless.

Even though her heart was going mad.

She eyed those around the room, her silver mask was indeed elegant, it told those around her who she was and of what standing.

The female escorts were above all provided by Cassiopeia's connections, Avery was seemingly pointed out by the shape of his mask as well as his height. While Harper held one similar to Aurora's just not as divine.

The Dark Lord hoped that the young witch would shape her own clan underneath his rule to follow her command and above all his.

There had been boasting, and a lot of it. Apparently their graduating class had the highest reigning match of Death Eater, which put the Dark Lord in a grand mood.

The bows and the repeating words were tiring, but ultimately it was when the muggles or muggle-borns were dragged into the mix. Aurora warned her friends in hopes of preparing them in what's to come.

They had been frantic almost as she had been after hearing the likes of what would happen to the unlucky captors.

A small squeeze signified that he would leave her side in order to participate with the rest of their people.

Their people. The thought made her sick to her stomach as she couldn't even be considered the same, these people were vial on the judgment of blood.

This was the first time in the presence of the large Masses of Death Eaters since she had been initiated into the Order. Granted it took longer to realize that bit, and had it not been for Harper gripping onto her hand then perhaps she would've lost balance.

Though the sudden glance of all the males in the room preparing themselves for their round of pleasure that they had to wait for since the start of this ceremony. Granted the prisoners were more or less incoherent and unconscious due to the round of torture that they endured prior.

The missing papers said it all, Aurora knew their last names and ran down the list of those who weren't going to make it. The males were already dead as there was no more use for them.

But none of this was morally right, not in any matter of speaking.

"Cassiopeia, escort your ladies out of the room." She mumbled a causal 'Yes, my Lord,' and followed through with the order as the given three girls trailed after her.

Almost in a haste to get a fresh of air.

Narcissa had instructed that Dobby lead them into a side room to relieve themselves. Harper instantly threw down her mask, tears evident to her emotions of the course of the night.

"What the bloody hell is all this?!" Aurora didn't even both looking back to Harper as she took an unsteady hand and downed a glass of fire whiskey in an attempt to shield herself from that horrific mess just a few doors away.

"Rory what the fuck are they promoting in—" Aurora sent a spell to stop the sound from escaping the room as she looked dead set towards Harper. "Watch your tongue." Was the warning and instantly it silence the whispers of Clem and Izzy as they too were questioning their own involvement.

"What did you expect, that it's flowers and candy?! It's too late, the Dark Lord knows your name and knows your families. This is it!" Aurora was shaking, the trauma of last time was slowly seeping back and it was not without a steady breath that she turned away from the matters at hand.

"When are you getting the mark Rory?" It had to have been Clem, small innocent Clem that looked wide-eyed and without the given mask and Aurora shook her head.

"I don't know, but I'm hoping it's not for a while. And as long as you aren't involved or out of the ordinary interesting then he will have no use for you." Izzy rose from the seat beside Clementine and narrowed her brow.

"Rory what are you saying?" She carefully asked, and Aurora closed her eyes in response.

"You are either those women on the floor begging for mercy, or you play it smart and stay out of his spotlight." Harper knew that look, she wouldn't be as a good friend if she hadn't.

"Rory...H-how far are you in—" Ms.Black, nay almost Mrs.Lestrange did not have to look even remotely to her friend as it turns out...Aurora has always been in the spotlight.

In a bit of tipsy anger did she throw the glass against the wall of her cousin's manner. Her eyes leaking further as she needed a helping hand, and she surely wasn't going to drag these girls any further than they already had been.

"One of you clean that up. I need to find Cissy." None of them questioned her as they listened to her words, she was their only hope in gaining the least amount of favoritism as she took over the female limelight.

Unknowingly was her plate filling further with people she needed to protect, and she was anchored by the promise she's already given out.

Had Reg, Sirius, her father and Rabastan not been in the picture she would've packed a back and taken Omen to Salem.

And in that moment, as she was on her way to Narcissa's study she made herself a plan.

Cassiopeia Aurora Black would need a fail-safe.
And she'd be damned if she gets caught without a plan...This would be her building point now.

"Cassi I...I was just on my way—" The tears were already visible, as was the smell of fire whiskey on her breath as she engulfed her young cousin in a hug. Shushing the young witch to calm down, but it was the horrors that were making her struggle to breathe after what she witnessed.

Aurora was shaking, part of her in reaction to her past experience coming to light and the other in seeing how Rabastan acted as a Death Eater.

He had to openly participate in the tortures to the muggle-born witches and wizards.

The calming words soothed her enough, and whatever spell that Narcissa gifted her allowed her to freshen up entirely before heading back to the girls. The tonics Aurora removed from her robes were instantly put into their teas.

To have tea at a time like this...Merlin sakes she was screwed.

A lower class Death Eater had knocked on the door and escorted the ladies back into the room. The smell of fear still lingering, but she was thankful that they moved the dead bodies and their scent from the scene.

Rabastan had returned to her side and offered his arm, and after a quick glance did she catch that his left was still unmarked. This ceremony had been scheduled with details to the very second, but alas the time would come.

A line was formed, almost it was a blessing. Rabastan had bowed down onto his knee, favoring him as though he were a true lord and kissing the hem of his robes in honor.

While Aurora had simply bowed her figure down to look at the ground. Whatever bullshit words followed in a damned prayer, finally had the Dark Lord's wand extend to the inner wrist of Rabastan Lestrange.

The mark now inked and embedded on his skin, now and forever until the relief of death was announced.

Ms.Black's gaze rose to meet Voldemort. His own hand timing up her chin to gain a smile.

"Soon little Ravenclaw...Your time is coming soon." She held her eyelids down in a sign of respect, but also a chance to not look the devil in the eyes.

A final bow and a quick 'Yes my lord,' is all she needed as the next baby Death Eater was going to lose their innocence.

Rabastan had lost his rigged figure, his right hand fully interlocked with hers. His thumb attempting to soothe her trembling figure, but it was an utter failure.

His bird was scared, and for all the reason up above.

As the final one earned the loyalty mark, it was an initiated location as to where they would meet. But the females would be left behind, and it was Rabastan that leaned into Rory's ear for a moment.

"Will you wait for me?" An innocent question sure, but she swallowed in fear.

"I'll try, but if it's later than the early morning I'll have to return home Raba." She whispered in sight of it all, while the mantra of the location stayed locked in her mind.

He followed in pursuit to deliver a mess of evil, while the gals seemingly found their place for tea for the second time that night. Though Aurora instantly went off to the bathroom to powder her nose, she gave herself the given full minute as the troops moved out before summoning Salem.

"The Mello family, they're daughter was a muggle-born Aura... Same with the Tories and Kelen familes...Hurry."

Aurora sent the message directly to Dumbledore, the locations unknown as they knew prior to this...But since she was not invited why would she know the locations?

"Stay safe...Please."

That had been sent to her brother and Remus, whether they were together or not. But her own inner Salem had sparked her eyes at the tone of emotion flooding through her body. Truthfully she wouldn't be surprised if her friends left, but instead they were looking at her for help. Aid.

Words of encouragement.

And that's exactly what she did, she offered herself for whatever they would need. If their males were being horrific and cruel they would tell her.

Because nobody in their right mind would mess with a Black, hopefully their relationship with Aurora would prove to be a safe haven from everything.

The night was long, and the girls surrounding Aurora had been long asleep. But she couldn't, there had been two Death Eaters guarding the door and it worried her on what the hell that had been about.

Instead she had been called, granted she was still embarrassed to the sight that the Death Eaters had seen. The girls were sleeping and she narrowed her eyes towards the one who spoke.

"Will there be someone watching them?" She spoke, calm and carefully. And at that request, it had only been the one that spoke that escorted Ms.Black to the Dark Lord.

Did the wizard not own a clock? Merlin it was close to three in the morning, she would surely going to hear an earful tomorrow.

The door soon opened at her arrive, and she soon walked the decent path to where the Dark Lord resided behind a desk. His attention on a slip of paper, but a waving gesture had him alone in the room with the young Ravenclaw...

Who's curiosity still never died down from their first introduction.

"Cassiopeia...I was quiet surprised to hear that you and your gals are still present in the manner."

"Yes my Lord, Rabastan asked that I wait for him. I can only assume that they all asked." He hummed, rising to his feet in a simple thought.

"Teaching your girls to listen to their future husbands?" His question sprang more as she tilted her head, silently returning his confusion.

"My friends were very much unprepared for tonight's ceremony. I simply extinguished their worries." His chuckle was patchy, causing another wave of shivers to course down her spine.

"I never intended to have a flock, but informants will be prudent if we're to continue to our goal."

"What are you proposing my Lord?" He shared his plans for having them attend parties, with or without their little boyfriends.

"Don't have an ounce of doubt that they won't disappoint my Lord, Amelia Harper may be new to our ways but she is a quick study." Aurora didn't want to name or single them out but that was the only thing that she could've done.

"Harper...The one Avery find himself attached to? Would she be your first choice?" Cassiopeia soon gave backgrounds on either, highlighting that Clementine was younger than most and innocent.

"Your union with the Lestranges will gain fame...I wonder what your estrange brother is thinking about this." He offered up the old issue of the intentionally leaked engagement, but she held back her own smirk as it tempted to give away too much.

"More than likely to prepare an objection during the vows."

"Is this is a concern Cassiopeia?" She shook her head and held up a hand in gesture. "I'm sure the guest list is going to stop him and his friends from attempting anything."

"Never-the-less, you'll be vulnerable during that time. Prudent to secure the wedding." She nodded, not giving anything more in terms of what her brother could potentially be up to and then the question lingered into the air.

What are your plans after schooling?

"I wish to work alongside Mr.Hanson, he took a chance on me with mere OWLS and I wish to aid him in his work before branching off to my own." Although there was no room for his own plans, he nodded. The girl could dream all she wanted but his word was law in their realm, and the only precarious this that damned his plans were her union with the Lestranges.

All of which had been arranged since before his ruling had reached it's prime.

"But between that all...My Lord I can assist anything in the realm of potions, or what you need of me." Had it been a bit of arse kissing? Of course, it was needed after showcasing what her intentions for the future were.

"I do require your intelligence at one point, but I will not distract you from your wifely duties nor your classes." She smiled and bowed her head in appreciation but she was holding her breath to that promise.

"Though I wished to know the little hex you managed to use and best Bella. It was not anything she nor I have come across...What is it?" She didn't rightly want her spells to be used against her brother but there wasn't much of a choice.

"Parva inpulsa, my Lord. It's a small shock, I was reading...Something that involved lighting and I realized that harnessing that would make for a very offensive stick against the other." The Dark Lord whispered the spell and he ordered her to perform it, but granted it wouldn't be much of a show without a target.

The smirk rallied greatly, as he called upon a lower leveled Death Eater to bow in submission. Aurora was far away from her mask, but something about the way this follower would not look at her was confusing.

"Do you know who this is?" Aurora remained silent, and good thing she had as the question was meant for the masked ally that bowed his head.

"Ms.Black." He whispered, dripping with regret, but the Dark Lord simply took his boney hands and harassed the witch's cheek.

"I favor revenge Cassiopeia, and Nott here has wronged you...Hasn't he?" Her ears detected his heart beat quicken after realizing where this was going...

"You're right my Lord, I don't think he realizes what his actions did to me." Her cloak had been unwrapped, allowing for either the Dark Lord or Nott to see the dress she had chosen for the occasion.

And either were at fault of taking a glance, but she had been oblivious to the Dark Lord's attention to her breasts while she threw her created hex towards the unexpecting Death Eater.

Doing it silently caused a quick study of her wand waving until he felt a shocking thread all throughout his body, tingling and jolting his limbs without his control.

The Dark Lord threw his head back at the reaction the spell had caused. "Excellent Cassiopeia excellent...When did you create this spell?" She swallowed in nervous to being completely honest but she smiled.

"Thank you, my Lord, but after I graduated I found myself being...bored." Her intelligence would indeed be a waste if she only became a wife.

And so he would grant her little freedom of education, but she would always be on a string...And when he tugged she would return.

She would serve him then.

"Dismissed Nott." He waved off, the Death Eater scrambled back to his feet to properly bow, and without the knowledge of the dark wizard... Aurora sent him a healing spell, he surely felt it as he didn't hobble back in return to the hallway.

He was greatful, and was going to share it with him...Had Rabastan not come down the ways with a dangerous aura surrounding him.

"He's in a meeting." He interrupted the freshly graduated members and they eyed him suspiciously.

"I'm sure the Dark Lord would be interested in how we did, step aside." Rabastan was not in the mood, nor did he have any more plausible cause to send this arse off across the hall.

That and Cissy would have a fit if anything broke.

"Ms.Black is in there, the rest of the ladies are in the room awaiting your return." He digressed, but honestly if Lestrange wanted to enter without proper invitation then so be it.

"It seems your fiancé has returned...I'll be calling you for a meeting shortly little Ravenclaw, do be prepared." She bowed her head in goodbye and goodnight, before long she found herself in the hallway with the freshly marked Death Eaters.

"He's waiting...I'll go wake up the girls." She spoke, more to Rabastan than the rest of them but they nodded their thanks and continued off. Granted five of them hadn't had any female escorts with them, but they weren't Aurora's concern.

Shaking Clemintine, then Harper awake did they start glancing around...Confused as to what they're still doing in this horrid manner.

There was a knock at the door, although it was Harper that was closet to the door...Rabastan removed his mask and asked for Aurora.

He didn't know what he had done to earn a glare from her but he surely received it.

Luckily a breathless smile interrupted his train of thought as Aurora reappeared and was anxious to leave.

"I...Raba I know it's late but—" He offered his arm and escorted his little Ravenclaw out of the Malfoy manner and managed to match her ability to walk and apparent into the movement.

Relief filled her as she looked on up to their soon to be manner. "It hasn't had much work done love, but for right now—"

"It's perfect...It's warm out, we can sit at the tree."

There was no point in waiting to head to the backyard to his fiancee.

Even in this beautiful gown did she find herself wanting comfort rather than proper luxury, it was a douse of reality as he led her through the manner and out into the garden from the grand patio.

"Perhaps we could make a gazebo, right in the center." She pointed off in the center. Whatever she wanted he would give her, their money was limitless.

And either of their professions held a grand salary, a gazebo, and home upgrade was close to nothing in terms of touching a millionth of what is in the vaults.

"We will, you'll be able to read outside..." Her breath hitched for a moment as she turned to look at him properly. He looked exhausted and she forced him out to entertain her from what he had to endure.

"Raba if you're tired go and—"

"Rather not. It's alright, come...you can rest on my cloak." Aurora flicked her wand to expand it entirely for them both to lie down in the grass, their sudden relaxation turned into childish star gazing.

Part of Aurora wanted to address the elephant surrounding them, that Rabastan's arm just to her right was branded. So instead of speaking out loud, she interlocked her hand into her. Pulling it deep into her hold almost hugging it's entirely. Her lips brushed against his knuckles so softly that even he thought that he shouldn't deserve her kindness.

He felt no shame in helping kill the family, it was the children that was an issue. Whether his fiancée knew that their families had younger siblings was behind him, but as he turned and waited for her to speak...She hadn't, not for a while.

"I trust you Rabastan, if you want to tell me you can...But don't share anything that could get you in trouble."

"It wasn't much trouble really, they were muggles...It was the fucking Order that came at the end that almost caught us." He regretted it the second he spoke it outlaid.

"What?!" Her fear was prominent as he leaned upwards with her, rubbing his eyes as this was not what he wanted to discuss here and now.

"We're alright, I didn't recognize any of them either." She closed her eyes in embarrassment, but leaned forward to find the crook of his neck. And as her arms wrapped around him he fell back, though he was careful not to fall onto her hands. Thus steadying her by gripping her waist.

"I love you." Her voice was inches away from his ear, and it earned her a tighter pull against his body.

"Gods above Rory, I love you my little bird." His body against her thin silk dress was giving him an insight of how their wedding night would be like...

And it was getting rather excited downstairs.

"My apologies love, it's the dress." Her smile was indeed tempting and didn't help as it was pressed against his neck.

"I should be apologizing, this position is rather naughty...And I should be home."

"Hm...And you should tell me to let go." She shook her head, not minding at all the small poke brushing against her stomach.

"But I make you feel like this...I like that." His brow rose, he had tried multiple times to find relief on pictures of other females but could never manage as he always reverted back to her.

She was his only sex appeal.

"You're the only one Aurora...Sixteen days." She cracked a grin and nodded, it earned him a small giggle. But she stuffed her face back into his chest.

"Eight until my birthday, I don't remember ever going to this many events after each other." She was turning eighteen in just a few days, and before long he was going to have his bachelor party.

Aurora hadn't been wrong, but this was life as an adult.

"Perhaps I can give you a preview of one of your birthday presents?"

"Rabastan Alastair Lestrange the Third, Sixteen bloody days." He pouted his lip, and his attention to her neck had promoted her own flutter of anticipation.

"...Sixteen days until I can see you in nothing but that necklace...Agony, downright agony." She whispered a small apology and kissed him gently all before she rose back to her knees and suggested that she head home.
