It had taken four attempts to finally come to a finished drafted parcel, and even then it wasn't enough to put it into a letter. Gods she was being pathetic, having to owl her incarcerated husband this type of news.

Or having to tell her eldest son about her pregnancy because she needed to tell someone?

Romulus had taken it upon himself to make everything suitable for his mummy. But after the initial shock, she returned back to working with Aidan. Acting as though nothing had changed, but it will...Especially when there was a child coming in a few months.

What scared her the most was Regulus, her father claimed that he wouldn't judge at all. But Rory knew a different angle, the one of brotherly protection.

However, on the opposite side. Regulus was fighting the calendar until Phoebe said it was okay to tell Rory as he was beyond excited.

And Phoebe rejoiced in it.

"We'll tell her today." She whispered, wrapping the sheet more securely around herself as Regulus wrapped around her bare form. "Privately from Liz? Are you sure?"

"Liz is going to spend hours giving me advice, Rory will just settle for harboring you." A proud grin rallied, and so he coddled his wife for a few more moments before hearing the alarm again.

Snoozing it again would make them both late.

It was strange to have such an active schedule, but he was relishing in being busy, and now with Phoebe and the babe to take care of?

It gave him more of a purpose than being a brother and uncle, this was going to be his child.

The man was giddy the entire day, and he was entirely put to a halt to hear that Rory was feeling Ill.
Again.

So he cautiously went into the home, looking both ways as it was hard to tell what type of mood his sister would be in.

Depressed, enraged or enlighten. It was always one of the three.

"Rory! I'm putting a kettle on the stove!" He cheered, if he couldn't handle his sister—Being scared of his sister, how was he going to raise a child?

"Could it be chamomile?" She mumbled out, coming out with a shawl over her shoulders as she crept out into the kitchen. Her smile was subtle, but she just felt tired.

It made Reg exhausted just looking at her.

"Is it him?" She shook her head, rubbing her eyes a bit. They were far too red and puffy to hide the fact that she was crying, but for what?

"Rory...Tell me hun, what is it?" She looked off to the kettle again, and he knew he'd have to wait for the tea, bribing her to talk about her feelings.

She licked her lips and shook her head again. "I've been a dumbarse Reg," Depressed it is.

"It's as if everything damn thing is against me." Maybe Enraged?

"The second I some form of happiness, my ability is about to be stripped. I've been here for less than a few months and...And it's always something." Would that be Englighted?

"Is it the Salem project? If you're stressed Rory then you're entitled to a break, everyone needs a break." He wanted to push her to relax, but that was always met with a denial.

"No, but I don't know how much longer I can stay with the committee." The whistle of the kettle had either sibling jump, but a soft bit of laughter came about from it.

As he poured either mug, he watched her take a small sip before smiling. "Phoebe tried getting me on the ice tea, so damn sweet...The kiddos like it more."

"They're losing the English in them, it worries me Reg. Do they go to Hogwarts or Ilvermorny?" It caused Reg to still.

Sweet Merlin, he hadn't thought about which wizarding school they would be going to!

Would his son go to Salem now that Rory is building a wizard school for them?

"That's so far away Rory, when they start at Salem then think about it."
"But the war Reg, it's only half over. I cannot put my children in harm's way, but they will be for their name." He swallowed roughly, his son, his son...The next Black heir.

"The war isn't now, we get to relax. We get to live, shouldn't we take advantage of that? Do the good you can now." Her head was still motioned down, she felt considerably guilty at withholding it any further.

But as she opened her mouth to speak, to just blurt it out and get it over with...He found the in-between to get a word in.

"Phoebe's pregnant." As her mouth was still open, it had dropped down further as the two words imprinted on her brain.

Regulus watched in pure amazement as her sister broke down in front of him. And what he confused as a smile, was truly at the idea of how everything was piling on now.

"REG WAIT!" Phoebe's voiced, and one look to the two already told the newcomer what happened.

That the truth was already out.

"I'm—I'm so happy for you both." She croaked out, trying her best to sound truthful, but her tears continued. Without a warning she rose up to her feet to hug Phoebe, kissing her cheek politely before turning to Reg for the same approach.

"Would it be completely pureblood of me to say that the Black-line has a chance now?" Regulus had turned fitfully around to get a secure holding on his sister, all while attempting to control his own excitement.

"A son Rory! Can you believe it?!" His lack of attention to how his sister was reacting was making Phoebe shake, her own hormones coming into contact.

"Reg, I don't think Rory's feeling all that well to—"

"But we must celebrate! Did you tell your sister? Is she going to curse me to—" Regulus didn't take any notice to Aurora retreating from the room, however as her bedroom door slammed shut, he realized that is where Phoebe's gaze had been following off to.

"Rory?" He called out, completely taken back by the sudden departure. "Reg, give her a minute. I'm sure she's feeling very out of place right now."

"Out of place? She's going to be an aunt!" Phoebe shook her head, squeezing her eyes closed at how she hurried here in a haste after what here sister blurted out.

"Reg think, she remembers telling him that she's pregnant. And I know she's happy for you deep down, but Liz said that she's—"

"Regulus? Is this true?" Orion called out, which caused the son to peek around the wall. He smirked up to his father to see that he was standing from his painted chair with excitement in his eyes.

"Yes father, it is. A son." There were a few firsts Orion experienced when he found himself spiritually trapped inside an enchanted piece of artwork.

He didn't need to eat.
Breath.
But he did need sleep, and he was very capable of coming to tears.

While Orion shouted to the heavens after hearing such delightful news, Phoebe's attention turned from the father of her child to the grandfather of her child.

And it was gut-wrenching to think of what Rory was up to.

"Rory?" She spoke softly, knocking on the door with a single knuckle. Making the attempt to find some sort of white flag to the situation.

And Orion could only break from this spirit of happiness to see how worried Phoebe was about Aurora.

"Son, I think it's best to leave your sister be. Ms.Halliwell was correct, this might be too much for her to handle at the moment." Phoebe nodded in conclusion, but Regulus wouldn't take that for an answer. He was counting far too many days to hear that his sister was proud.

That his sister couldn't wait to be an aunt.

That she'd help Phoebe with the pregnancy, but when he opened the door to see her back facing him, her attention out the window...What could possibly be—

"Regulus. I need you to leave." She breathed, her voice hoarse as she had been crying far too hard.
"Aurora, please...Just tell me what's—" The lamp that was stationed on her nightstand had shattered completely after being thrown to the wall.

And that hasn't since...

Regulus' eyes flared dangerously, and it was no surprise in his sister's place. But for Phoebe she shivered and backed away further.

"Reg..." She whispered out, regaining her strength to reach her hand onto his shoulder. But Rory already hid her gaze away.

"Reg I—"

"Is it Aidan's?" Aurora knew that Regulus would be angry, she prepared for it since she came to the conclusion of hearing she was with child.

But never, never had she expected to have to tell her brother that her husband was the father of the child.

In haste of her anger did she settle a hard slap to his cheek before apperenting off and away.

Off to a private place where no one could find her.

"REGULUS ARCTURUS BLACK! UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WERE YOU ENTITLED TO ASK YOUR SISTER WHO'S THE CHILD'S FATHER IS. YOU INSOLENT BOY, HAVE I TAUGHT YOU NOTHING OF TALKING TO WOMEN. ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT ARE WITH CHILD?!"

"Did you know that she was with child?!"

"Of course, because unlike you she doesn't have to fear that question from me! How dare you lose your head like that, you best make this right. NOW!"
He was surely rolling in his grave now, and good gods did Regulus hear the power in his father's voice ring heavily to his heart.

What has he done?
