Police. 

Police were taking a look through Cogs and Coils Inc.

Simone felt like she was gonna explode. Not only was she starving but they were there for her, even if they didn't know it yet. The distraught family and friends of Mike had called the cops and filed a report. Great.

Officer Dunn: So when did you last see him?

Simone: Friaday Night. He clocked out like he usually did after coming to talk with me.

Officer Dunn: What did you two talk about?

Simone:... prefer not to say.

Officer Dunn: Pardon?

Simone: It... isn't important...

Officer Dunn:... okay...

He wrote something down.

Officer Dunn: That night the cameras cut out around the time he went into your office. Do you know why is that?

Simone: The cameras can be a bit wonky, especially if it's windy outside. Guess it was just bad timing.

Officer Dunn: Right.

He wrote something else down.

Officer Dunn: Last question for today. Do you have any idea where he could have gone?

Simone: No... I don't... no. Can't think of anywhere aside from his home.

Officer Dunn: Okay. Thank you Mrs. Xara.

The officer walks away. Simone mentally sighs. The officer probobaly suspects her now. Great. She looks around. Everyone was answering questions or sitting aound doing nothing. Her eyes land on her father, talking with William and Clara, Mikes parents. 

She walks towards her dad, standing next to him. It took a second but he noticed her. 

Max: O-Oh, Simone, Hi. This is William and Clara Afton. Mike's parents.

Simone: Nice meeting oyu, sorry it had to be under such... negative, sercumstances. 

Clara: oh, it's f-fine dear.

William: I'm sure he's just, lost somewhere, and he'll be back before we know it. 

Simone: Yeah. Mike isn't the kind of guy to just vanish, so I'm sure you'll be able to find him.

That was a lie.
