     When Mackenzie and Jamey arrived at Evie's, they opened the door and allowed themselves in the house and found Evie laying face first on her couch with Winnie laying on her back.

     "Evie? You good?" Jamey asked, kicking his shoes off and sitting next to her. Winnie hopped off of the girl's back and quickly ran to Jamey, then to Mackenzie as he revived pets from both.

     "No, yes, maybe? I don't know." Evie groaned, rolling on her side to face her best friends. "Tom and I kissed last night."

     "Holy shit, really?" Mackenzie asked, eyes widening as she lifted the small puppy.

     "Really." The blonde responded. "I went over to the hotel he's staying at because he challenged me, and we were chilling and he was playing with my hair and we just kissed."

     "Ooh la la." Jamey teased. "Mack was right, this is turning into a lovey dovey thing."

     "What happened after you guys kissed?" The brunette asked.

     "Welllllll," Evie dragged on the word. Both Jamey and Mackenzie both gasped.

     "DID YOU GUYS HAVE SEX?" The boy asked, causing Evie to immediately shake her head no.

     "No! No! No! We just, well, we kissed and then made out a little bit and then I left." She explained. She received judgy looks from the other two. "I panicked, okay!"

     "So, are you guys like, a thing now?" Jamey asked. Evie popped with her lips, "I don't know, we haven't talked about it."

"Well, why not?" He asked.

"Because I'm a pussy and I hate confrontation, duh." The girl said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

     "Have you even texted him since last night?" Mackenzie asked, to which Evie just fake smiled, showing all her teeth in a funny way. That told Mackenzie that the answer was no.

     "Evie, I am going to tell you this in the nicest way possible," She said. "you need to man the fuck up and text him because he probably thinks you're not interested!"

     Evie thought about it for a moment. "Shit."

     "Text him, or call him. Wait, no. Text him first, just be like 'hey'. And we'll go from there." Jamey advised, grabbing the girl's phone off the table and hanging it to her.
