Fandom: Warriors (Cat series by Erin Hunter)

Setup: Spottedleaf didn't die, she is alive and well, still serving as the Medicine cat of Thunderclan. Fireheart comes back wounded from a battle, and demands that he be looked at last since his wounds aren't quite as severe. Spottedleaf and Fireheart have not yet confessed any feelings for each other. But since there's no one else to tend to next, his healing sessions gets a little heated after their feelings are confessed equally through words and actions. (I haven't read Warriors in a long time, I still love it, but I may be a little Rusty 😉 if you get that pun, thank you😂)

Warning: Slightly Sexual content. Heated interactions and innenuendo. 

Other: So I just wanted to find a Spottedfire video and yes I know it's sad, sorry, the first song, "Broken Together" is literally like my favorite Casting Crowns song. 

The Fire Inside Him 

Third Person POV

"Fireheart!" Spottedleaf cries, looking up. It crushes her to see someone she loves so much hurt like this. Of course, he wasn't fatally injured, and not as bad as some of the other cats, but still. She is just finishing up treating some of the worst injuries, and motions for Fireheart to come in next. But he firmly shakes his head. 

"I'll go last." 

"But, Fireheart--" 

"I'm okay Spottedleaf. Tend to the others first." He flops down in exhaustion, and licks a cut on his paw. She sighs and gets back to work. Her mind races as she tends to the others, but her mind is on her closest friend and crush. Although she looks calm, cool, and collected, her heart beats quickly as she thinks of him being hurt. She wanted to tell him before something bad happened. Tell him how much she loves him. 

"It's your turn." She helps Fireheart settle down, and tends to him silently, letting him rest. After a moment he speaks up. 

"You're very good with your paws." 

This takes her by surprise. 

"Oh, I-I wasn't trying to. . ." Except he was, but he was afraid. 

". . . I-it's okay," she mumbles through a mouthful of herbs, feeling her cheeks heat up. She tends to his wounds, and sees his eyes close. She thinks he is asleep, so she whispers, "I love you, Fireheart." 

But after a moment, the corner of his mouth twitches. His whiskers shake slightly and he meows, "I love you, too." 

Their hearts each skip a beat, and she licks his head gently. This is followed by his cheek rubbing her's, and his tongue on her head, until they are passionately sharing tongues and rubbing softly against each other, carefully because of Fireheart's wounds. Fireheart licks her pelt tenderly, his tongue warm. He murmurs sweet nothings, and Spottedleaf massages him gently. The tabby tom's tongue gets close to certain places, but he is gentle and respectful. After their sweet, heated moments, Fireheart whispers in her ear, "We'll have to finish this when I'm healed." 

This causes the she-cat to shiver as they lie down, curled up together sweetly. Spottedleaf has never been so desperate and impatient for one of her patients to heal.
