Y/N POV
Thomas dropped from the vent as he followed Aris. He steadied himself before holding his arms up to me.
"Alright, drop." He whispered.
I took a breath before softy letting go, Thomas' arms easily catching me. He kissed my head before letting me down as we followed Aris to a room.
We slowly walked, using he key to get into the room W.C.K.D had been so secretive about.
The door slid open, revealing several machines and bodies, all of them hanging from the ceiling. I had to cover my mouth to shut up the noise that escaped as I horrifingly looked on at the bodies.
"What are they doing..." Thomas breathed out, continuing to walk in.
"Thomas, come back. We'll get caught." I hissed, before quietly groaning as I followed after him.
"Y/N is right." Aris said. "We got in. And now we need to get out."
"Yeah, yeah. Just- hold on." Thomas shushed them, as he kept walking.
Me and Aris stood, waiting for Thomas to search through and get a good look. I anxiously looked back at the door, a second of relief that I didn't see anyone.
"Thomas, I'm serious..." Aris said, his voice a bit more concerned this time.
"Fine. Okay, let's g-"
"What are you kids doing in here?!"
We snapped our heads around, seeing multiple guards and a woman with a lab coat.
I felt Thomas behind me as he protectively put his hand on my back, slightly stepping in front of me.
The woman waved her fingers forward, all of the guards heading on at once. My eyes widened.
As a guard stepped to us, Thomas threw his fist across his face, knocking him to the ground quickly. But just as quick, four more guards held him back, at the same time I felt multiple hands grab me.
"Hey, let her go!" Thomas yelled, struggling even harder in the guards holds.
I squirmed and kicked, catching one of the guards in the leg. He dropped in pain, but another guard took his place.
"Take 'em to Jensen."
Soon after a while, the guards, after lugging us around through the building, threw me and Thomas into a room.
"Oh god, Y/N." Thomas scrambled over to me, his eyes quickly looking over my body. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." I sighed, gently grabbing one of his hands. "But where are we?"
Thomas looked around and shook his head, shrugging.
"I don't know.
The door creaked, as someone walked in, guards shutting the door behind them.
"Ah, Thomas and Y/N." He slowly spoke, a smirk on his face.
Me and Thomas stood up, still hand in hand.
"Where are we." Thomas snapped.
"Please- have a seat." The man smiled.
Two guards suddenly walked in, each of them carrying a metal chair. They placed them about 10 feet away from each other, but facing each other also.
Thomas gave me a hesitant look before walking me over to one seat and then as I sat down, walked to sit in his own.
"Tell me, Thomas-" Jensen sighed, as he paced in between us. "What were you doing in that room?"
"I could ask you the same question." Thomas sneered, standing up. The two guards came back and grabbed his arms, shoving him down and holding him in his chair.
"Thomas, Thomas, Thomas." Jensen chuckled, shaking his head. I stood up too, before two more guards did the same to me of what they did to Thomas.
"You can easily tell me what you and your new friend were looking for, or your going to really regret it." He nodded, crossing his arms.
"I don't have to tell you shit." Thomas spat, wriggling in the guards hold.
"You know, I really didn't want to do this. But, since you're unwilling to talk-" he shrugged, pulling a sizable knife from his belt. "Then we'll make you talk."
"Don't hurt him." I angrily said, clenching my teeth as the guards held me harder.
"Oh, you little, silly little girl. Hurting Thomas wouldn't work." He shook his head, twirling the knife as he walked towards me.
"But you, on the other hand..." He smirked.
I gasped in pain as he swung, the knife slicing my arm. I hissed as the wound became vulnerable, feeling the blood being pushed out by the guards hold.
"Hey, stop it!" Thomas yelled, struggling in the guards holds on him.
"Stop what? This?"
Jensen sliced my thigh this time, making me let out a growl as I tried to keep calm.
"You asshole! I'll kill you." Thomas yelled again, and the guards faces contorted as they began to struggle holding him.
Jensen slowly, but harshly, dragged the knife across my stomach, making my cry out. I watched Thomas' face fall as tears fell from both of our eyes.
"Alrigh-!"
"No." I breathed out, shocking Thomas. "Don't tell them."
Jensen sent his shoe straight to my stomach, where he'd just cut. I cried out again, toppling onto the floor.
He continued kicking me, each blow harder than the last. He didn't even stop cutting my arms, making small, painful slices all around. I could hear Thomas screaming.
I felt so weak, blood quickly leaving my body. The guards weren't even holding me anymore as I lay helpless on the ground.
"Hey!" Thomas screamed, his voice strangled by a sob.
"No." I whispered. "Do-don't tell them." I shook.
"Y/N..." Thomas cried, shaking his head. "I can't watch this. I can't watch them torture you."
"Come on, Thomas." Jensen smirked, putting the bottom of his boot on my throat. I coughed as he cut off my air supply.
"Okay!" Thomas yelled. "It- they were talking about some group. In the mountains! They could help us." Thomas hurried, his eyes quickly flashing from Jensen to me.
"I want more, Thomas." Jensen sneered, pressing his foot down harder.
"That's all I know! Let her go! She's dying!" Thomas screamed.
I barely heard Jensen sigh, before taking up his foot. I gasped and coughed as I could breathe again, but didn't move my arms in fear of further opening any wounds.
"Come on." Jensen waved to the guards. "I think Thomas has said enough."
The guards let go of Thomas and walked off. As soon as they did, he scrambled across the floor, his shoes squeaking as he halted next to me.
"Oh my god, Y/N. Oh- oh god. You're bleed- there's a lot of blood." He choked out, his hands cautiously hovering my body.
"I'll be fine." I huffed.
"This isn't fine, Y/N!" He yelled. "I- I just let them almost murder you! I-I should've tried harder or, or done something other than just-"
"Thomas." I stopped him. He silenced and calmed down, his tears quietly falling. "It's okay. You couldn't do anything."
Thomas still looked unsure, so I slowly grabbed his hand, intertwining our fingers.
"Just- stay here until I can walk." I chuckled, smiling.
This made Thomas crack a smile, as he rubbed my knuckles with the pad of his thumb, softly making patterns.
"Of course."
